Mom Fakes Pregnancy to Abduct Child

According to police, the 40-year-old Indian woman with three kids from her first marriage faked a fourth pregnancy to please her new husband. She planned the faux nine months perfectly so that, when her time was up, she could steal the child of pregnant Chayya Mohan, a “mentally unsound” woman kept in the facility where Adsul nursed. Ms. Faker Faker Baby-Taker now faces an unspecified term in a Mumbai jail cell.

    I know my hubby would think it was weird if he didn’t see me naked in all of 9 months. I mean, getting in and out of the shower, getting dressed in the morning, getting ready for bed…and didn’t he ever TOUCH her belly in nine months?

    I don’t know if this woman is Hindu but it might explain a lot.

    Furthermore, it was found that half the Hindu women in my study did not think it necessary or appropriate to have sex during pregnancy. This is probably related to the cultural belief that in the early months of pregnancy additional sperm can contribute to the baby’s growth. Later on in pregnancy, sex is frowned upon as it is said to generate excessive “heat” which would threaten the foetus’ health.
