Mom Attempts Forced Teen Abortion by Feeding Her Daughter Turpentine
Jesus fucking Christmas CHRIST!! What is UP with you fucked-up parents and your attempts at forced abortion?! It wasn’t bad enough, apparently, that a Maine couple attempted to abduct their 19-year-old and drag her into an abortion clinic against her will. Nooooo. 44-year-old Rozelletta B. Blackshire of Columbus, Georgia had to go this one better by attempting to kill her 16-year-old daughter’s baby through oral injection of turpentine. The teen’s cousins, Shonda Y. Blackshire and Monica M. Johnson – both in their mid-20s, more than old enough to decide on their own that Mama Blackshire was a stark raving psychopath – decided to force-feed the poison to the girl after she was reportedly raped.
That’s exactly what a teen needs after being assaulted by a stranger or acquaintance: to be assaulted by her own family.
The good news: the teen doesn’t appear to have been irreparably harmed by the second assault (at least, physically). And there is no medical evidence that drinking turpentine can induce abortion. Indeed, if this brain trust had done even a smattering of research, they would have discovered that women have attempted to use turpentine as an abortive agent…by douching with it, or administering it via intrauterine injection. The usual result? The death of the baby. And the mom.
I need a drink. Actually, just give me a bottle of Everclear and come scoop me off the sidewalk in the morning.

It really is awful in recent weeks to see the degree to which some pro-choice parents will go.

I wouldn’t call these people “pro-choice” Hailey. “Pro-choice” means giving the MOTHER a choice. These are examples of opportunistic, selfish parents taking that choice upon themselves.

Pro-choice? Hardly. A pro-choice parent would discuss the options with his or her daughter and support her in whatever decision she made. Kidnapping your child to take her to an abortion clinic against her will, and forcing turpentine down a 16YO rape victim’s throat are hardly options advocated by anyone who would seriously consider themselves pro-choice.
These are more the actions of fucked up control freak parents who have such issues with teen pregnancy that they would harm their daughters rather than suffer the shame and indignity of anyone knowing their daughter got pregnant. Sad.

i am one of them too,my mother beat me for two days.i fell in love in west virginia,at 14,he said he loved me,chochtaw native,then he left the state,i would have died for him,she took me to florida,it was the year of 1979,it was so hot,she beat me every day,then after the abortin,she lock me in a traliar.im 43 now,i hate myslef more every day fornot standing up for my baby,i think im as lost as my child,its every i look in the mirrow,it will never go away,i would give my life for my child to change what i did.my god for give me. kimmy

Kimmy, your story saddens me. I am so sorry that your own mother did that to you, just like in this story. It’s so wrong. I thought my mom was a monster but she would never have forced me to have an abortion. Some parents are total control freaks and don’t see their children as people, people who have the right to make their own decisions.

This is NOT pro choice. I AM pro choice, and when I say that, I mean that I think the MOTHER of the baby, (pregnancy), should be allowed to make HER OWN decision on what should be done. Meaning if SHE wants an abortion, she should be allowed, and if she wants to give it up for adoption she should be allowed to do so and if she wants to keep it she should…. Get it?
That is pro choice. This sounds more like Propsychopathic. And how dare these people do an “Illegal, and Dangerous” attempt at an abortion. I don’t agree with an illegal and dangerous attempt even if the mother does it to herself. This is just insane. I hope the mother is doing well.
