Mom Charged with Using Baby as Blunt Object
After reading a certain number of these stories about bad parents, you begin to tire of law enforcement officials who exclaim that they’ve “never seen anything like this” when it comes to the latest parental crime. Which isn’t their fault. I’m sure the current crime is the most horrid thing they’ve ever seen. And, hey – they’re actuallly witnessing the aftermath of these crimes; I’m just scribbling about them. That said, I share the shocked awe of the district attorney who’s “never seen anything like” Chytoria Graham of Erie, Pennsylvania. The 27-year-old mother stands accused of hitting her boyfriend…with her baby. The child suffered serious injuries as a result of the assault. Graham is now being held on a trifecta of charges, and has had her other four children taken into custody by the state.
Jesus, people, what does God have to do – put a tag on every baby’s ear that declares “WARNING: Not to be used as a weapon”?

Oh wow. Next time I think I’m being a Bad Mother, I’m going to pop on over here and read up on how the other half lives.
I wonder how they described the assault weapon? Cute, short, tends to giggle uncontrollably at Tickle Me Elmo? Apt to spit milk?

Yeah, christina, I wanna see the court proceedings on this one to see if they refer to the baby by name, or as “Exhibit A”.

I remember reading this in the paper. Unbelievable that anyone could care so little for their child and what’s so scary is that she had more! I’m glad that they were taken.
