Kenneth and Wendy Watkins Videotape Toddler Drinking, Smoking, Swearing
Sorry for my delay in posting today, folks. The weather in Seattle has been dank and dark for the past month, and the permanent darkness has taken its toll on my frail constitution.
But I’ve perked up enough to relay this tip from Danielle about Kenneth Watkins (40) and Wendy Watkins (29) of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Jessica O’Donnell (22), an Olyphant resident. O’Donnell, who is Watkins’ girlfriend, was hanging out with daddy and his ex (?) at Wendy Watkins’ place when the three decided to play a little “game”. Papa Watkins held his two-year-old daughter while he and his girlfriend helped the girl puff on a cigarette, take sips of tequila, and recite vulgarities into the camera.
Where was mommy? Holding the camcorder, naturally! Where else would a good mother be when her toddler was smokin’ and drinkin’ and cussin’?
The brain trust was arrested and thrown in the clink after an anonymous source handed the tape over to detectives. (I imagine that the Three Amigos proudly broadcast it to some friends at a party, and one of them, not being bereft of a conscience and a sense of moral decency, snuck it off-premises afterwards.) All three face a variety of misdemeanor charges.
Can anybody tell me what the deal is with the husband and the girlfriend kickin’ it with the wife? Are the Watkins divorced? Or is this some sort of funky polyamory jazz? Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course. Based on this story alone, the Watkins and O’Donnell sound like a wonderful threesome – a regular ol’ match made in Hell.

This comment just goes to prove why giving your babies and children smokes, booze and drugs is child abuse…..because it destroys brain cells. Thank you for proving the point we have been making here, Cookie. Go back to third grade and learn to spell, punctuate and use capital letters correctly. A few pointers on proper grammar usage would not be remiss, either. Your comments are making my eyes bleed.

Hold up! I just heard that Jessica is once again pregnant…..I think about 4 months pregnant. Didn’t she just have baby #4 a few months ago? What is wrong with the system that people like this so-called “Mother” (Jessica) can keep pushing out babies when it obviously sounds like she’s not even mature enough to take care of the one she abused in this “story.” I feel bad for this “woman’s” children.

it’ll be interesting to see what the judge has to say as far as the unsupervised visitation she’s being allowed with her daughter. i don’t know how strict they are in PA but here, it wouldn’t look good for the ones that are supposed to be keeping that little girl safe. i wouldn’t be surpirised if she was moved to foster care along with the newborn (unless there’s reliable relatives to care for them). please keep us posted as to the outcome.

I dont know whats going to happen to her from what parole told me when i called and asked whats going to happen they told me that when she goes for her next visit with the judge they are giveing him the pics and it’s up to him and judge barrasse is a SOB from what i here when it comes to this,word on the street is that the other 1 got a 6 month hit and cys took her kids and gave them to the father.

if child services is still overseeing the case of the little girl then they need to place her with someone who will keep her out of situations like this. do you think she’s going back to jail and for how long?

family has custody so of coarse they are going to let her have her kids when she wants them i heard yesterday parole hit them all.the other girl in the pic only had a month to go.as far as her with the new baby i don’t know i know she is on something called re entry court and children services is involved with her treatment plan my sister knows more than i do about all this she used to work for a magistrate.

kwilly’s sister: if what you’re saying is true, then that changes a lot of things…may i ask…who has custody of her little girl at this time? if she’s not supposed to be having unsupervised visitation, then why are the guardians allowing this to happen? my opion (just my opinion), it sounds like they need to move the child to a safer place. if they’re allowing unsupervised visits and these pics (hanging around with parolees and being around alcohol when it’s against the terms she’s to follow) are a result of what’s happening. does she have custody of the new baby?

SHE is’nt supposed to be with that girl or them men they are all convicted felons, and she is’nt supposed to have unsupervised visitation with the little girl next to the beer and if you look close behind her you can see the baby seat and diaper bag she can’t go in an establishment that sells alcohol let alone be with her kids at a beer party in the woods. just so you know she was arrested earlier last night and gave a dirty urine.

first of all…i’m not trying to be argumentive…but i went to myspace and looked at the pictures you’re talking about. other than jessica associating with a parolee….if that’s who’s in the picture…..i really don’t see how they could arrest her (based on those pics). yes, there’s a case of beer on the ground nearby….it could be full, could be empty. the pics don’t show her doing anything wrong. she’s sitting there looking at a lady who’s holding a birthday cake for a 14 yr.old. her daughter is playing nearby. the pics don’t show her partying. they don’t show her drinking or doing drugs…just sitting there. to be honest with you, i don’t see how they could even prove she had the new baby with her….you can’t see the baby.
the pic entitled “burning the evidence is nothing more than a picture of several people roasting hotdogs over a small fire and the young boy holding a piece of the beer box to throw into the fire. the pic of 4 people, 2 men and 2 women…is nothing more than 4 people posing for the camera. i don;t see how law enforcement could even remotely construe that as her partying yet again.
like i said, i’m not trying to argue with you….i just don’t see how she could possibly be arrested for anything in those pics.
