I love how people assume that because we suggest doing violent things to people in the comments on a blog about people that have commited what amounts to evil acts, that we must also be horrible people.
The difference is, when my child is fussy, I don’t drug him, or beat him, or duct tape him to anything, I just try to find out why he’s fussy, or simply hold him until he falls asleep, if I can’t find any other reason for him to be fussy.

irsean, the parents who comment here arent the parents who beat and kill their children. Nor are they the parents that OD their kids on OTC meds. A tsp full of dimetapp does not put 100x the amount in a childs system. They probably fed the baby the entire bottle thinking, oh a little more will help put her to sleep so I can go on about my selfish ways….

This is frightening. It makes you wonder if her other baby really died of SIDS. I could understand this light punishment if the chil dhad died from a slight overdose but 100X the recommended dose? This really scares me that she is not in jail and has other kids living with her. May God watch over them.

Jman’s Mommy, I did NOT say that there is an excuse for child abuse or for defending the abusers, but you know, I’m trying to know who would defend the poor kid! And yes, the sister is constantly talking of God and that just pisses me off, and trust me, no one would even like me if I’m ticked off! And I think she might try to sue the company for her sister being a drugged-up motherfucker, and that sucks! And I still agree with you cuz that bitch’s sister still has to stop making excuses for her killing the child! So don’t forget, this site is for people who care deeply for the kids and not those who LIKES to talk of God all the damn time! Well, at least my parents never made me take any medication without consulting a doctor! And at least my family never talks of God either!

Leesa’s real sis, I did not say that everyone was a doctor, but both my children see one on a regular basis. Before either of them takes any kind of medication for the first time, I at least consult him with a phone call or office visit. My four month old has taken mylicon (for gas), tylenol (for pain), and amoxicilian (for an ear infection) but none without consulting her pediatrition for the correct dosage for her size. She has had one bad cold and for that I used tylenol and a humidifier. Notice that list does not include any kind of otc cold medicine. That is because every idiot knows not to give an infant cold medicine. So call it an accident if you like, but the truth is your sister is just plain stupid, and worse homicidally wreakless.
