Mom snorts coke off infant while prostituting
This story is almost unbelievable; I had to read it a few times before my brain would actually process it.
Wendy Cook, 37, has had two children, a 5-year-old daughter and a 2-month-old son.
They were both with her in the car while she “performed sex acts” on at least two men, smoked crack and snorted coke off her 2-month-old. Ya… she actually put the cocaine on her child, and then snorted the coke off his stomach.
Well, she was busted offering her “services” to an undercover cop, and thank god.
They’ve taken her kids away. I’m sure her 5-year-old daughter is going to is going to need a life time of therapy. I’m sure she’ll be going away for quite some time, lets all hope for life.

She was breastfeeding the baby (while high) when she snorted the coke of of his tummy. Wow. My guess is that she was breastfeeding, not for the benefit of the baby, but so she could save the money on formula to spend it on drugs. Just take her out and shoot her. There is no reason I can see to keep the erson alive.

Okay – Here is a better article. She is the daughter of a wealthy man. Her brother seems to think she is quite a nifty person when she isn’t on drugs!! What is wrong with these people??

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. There are actually chicks on this site that have been busted for having “drunk” babies. That’s the only reason I asked.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t coke be transmitted through breast milk? This poor kid was being harmed in more than one way. I hope they can recover.
I like the way the article calls her a “The pretty but disheveled, red-headed mom.” Don’t they mean “disgustingly filthy coked out whore?” It’s funny how a little bit of money in the family can change descriptions of people.
If CPS returns these kids to this woman, they are really failing. Can you imagine learning later that your mother cared so LITTLE about you that she put you in this situation? What a scummy waste of oxygen.

yo d00d, I like to call them the breast-feeding nazis. I breast-fed both of my children (they also had formula), but I wasn’t doing drugs or drinking at the time. It’s a personal choice (and nobodies concern but the one with the breast), but if you need to get high, drunk, or whatever don’t breastfeed. Better yet, she should have invested in condoms or sterilization.
Kathy, I know coke goes through breastmilk, but even worse is that it can be absorbed through the skin.
I hope these poor babies never see this woman again.

@April – well, her brother was right about one thing: “But this is what happens when drugs take over. They can corrupt even the most kindhearted people of the world”
Of course, we’re all responsible for the choices we make, but addicts don’t think like normal people.

Regardless of what sort of “sober” person she is – She turned into a cracked out coke whore and put her children in danger. Never mind the drugs – Those men she was “servicing” could have decided to rape her 5 year old. I guess in a way this story has a “happy ending”. Too bad the long term affects on the children will not be so great.
Kathy – I had the same conversation with my hubby about the drugs in the breast milk. I wonder if they tested the child(ren) for narcotics. Plus the baby was a newborn. Was she doing drug while she was pregnant. The article also states that she was on a drug binge for several days – breast feeding the whole time I’m sure. You would think that the baby had the substance in his system.

Hey, I’m probably what you could call one of those “La Leche League types” (I used to attend LLL meetings; three of my children bf well past a year; I did have to wean my fourth child to formula due to supply issues and failure to thrive that didn’t resolve), but I think even any sane, rational “breastfeeding Nazi”, would agree that snorting coke while nursing is a BAD IDEA. Yes, it does go to the baby and I think there have even been cases of breastfed babies who died because the mom was doing meth and nursing at the same time.
Seriously, if you cannot stay away from the drugs, then don’t breastfeed, better yet, don’t procreate AT ALL.
