Gang Member John Louis Hernadez Arrested for Child Abuse Death of Infant Daughter
In Greeley, Colorado, police arrested John Louis Hernadez, 30, in the death of his infant daughter Johnnyce Hernandez. He’s been charged with child abuse resulting in death.
Hernandez, also known as John Elworthy, was the last person to see his daughter alive and the one who found her dead. He told the police that he does not know how his daughter’s injuries occurred.
Yeah sure.
The child was dead upon arrival when Hernandez and his wife Stephanie Garcia brought the baby girl to the hospital. The medical staff called the police after seeing her injuries, and an autopsy was performed the next day. It showed that the child suffered traumas that resulted in her death. Her skull was fractured, and she had at least four bruises. Johnnyce also had bruised eyeballs and some rib fractures that were in the healing stages. This probably means that the abuse had been going on for awhile.
The case is still under investigation, and police are not sure if the mother had any role in the baby’s death.
Also, Hernandez is being held at the Weld County Jail without bond and with parole on hold pending an appearance in court.
I’m not surprised because he’s a know gang member with a criminal record that includes two arrests for assault, three arrests for theft, and two arrests for burglary. And now he may have his daughter’s death to add to his rap sheet.

I am so sick of this – The same story… Another dumb ass woman that can’t see past the penis!! She KNEW!! She knew he was a gang member. She had to. Gang member = Violence. HELLLLOOOOOOO!! Is this really someone you want your children around?? The report said that he had been arrested before for assault. The mother had to know that this low down dirty ass dog was no good. Yet she let him FATHER her children and left him alone with them. One of the other children told investegators that he wasn’t good at watching the baby. You mean the other children noticed but Mommy was too blinded by penis to remove her children from a potential DISASTER???? She is just as guilty. He should be charged with murder and she should be charged with child endangerment (for all of the children). Yep – She put them all in danger and she should be charged.

April, there is no way in hell that I would leave my child, the true love of my life, with a known gang member. I think you are right. This is another dumbfuck woman who thinks that a man is more important than her child. They both should be doing life.

Rockdoll – Not just that but I would NEVER let him FATHER my children. What is wrong with these people. Is human life so disposable and unimportant to them? Not just human life but the lives of their children??? Besides the obvious fact that he could harm the children – What about the influence he had on those young ones?? Gangs are cool. Violence is great. It’s okay to beat up a baby. They had to see him abuse the baby to make the statement that he wasn’t good at watching her!!! I hope that the other children are in foster homes. I hope that he spends the rest of his life in prison. I hope she gets a suitable punishment for subjecting her children to any of this!!
BTW – She was sick with a cold and crying more than usual. Sounds like a great reason to beat her to death. What a loser! Wait – What does Kathy call them??? Oh, yeah!! F*CKTARDS!! That’s what he is – a f*cktard.

What could I possibly say that you guys haven’t said??? It really is a shame that a child is created, an innocent living breathing life that depends 100% on these two people and they end her life. Monsters and animals, they both should be locked up.

True, they should both be locked up. Some women are so desperate for a man that they will accept anything and I suppose that this is one of those stories. I just don’t get it. I never have and I never will. It’s like with those women who KNOW that their mates are sexually abusing their daughters and still stay with him. Maybe it’s similar to that type of mentality. They know that these assholes are hurting their children but they side with him. There is no logic at all in that.

Its cyclical – I imagine that most of these women had mothers who made bad choices in men. Either they, too, were in abusive relationships ( with these women being victims of child/sex abuse)… or the POS’s disappeared and the mothers went on to the next POS, and so the it continued… These women are just the next generation in a bad, bad cycle.
Not that I am defending these women. AT ALL.
Makes me wonder if these women realize that there is abuse, or if they think its just how the relationship/parenting works. Also, there is a true desperation to keep a guy, regardless of his character, rather than be alone.
Its beyond sad. All the way around.

Thinking about the type of woman that would marry him doesn’t make me so sure he did it. Until there are more facts I’d think she is just as likely.
In fact she had more opportunity to abuse in secret. He is not likely at home most the time (out selling drugs) to see what is going on.
Sorry but the story doesn’t say there are any facts supporting that he did it. The arrest was made on having prior arrests for different crimes and proximity — another words arrest based on a wild ass guess.

Both parents should be sitting in jail for life!
If he is a known gang member, violence is a part of his life. Mom knew that. So she is just as guilty as he.
