Adoptive Mom admits to baby dropping

Woman admits to child-abuse homicide in death of infant boy:

I know the site is called Bad Breeders but sometimes you don’t have to be the biological breeder to be ‘featured’ here. As an adoptee myself I am going to be extra critical of the people who adopt or are foster parents. The kids who are adopted or who are in foster care need a special kind of care that people on these pages are obviously not willing to provide. For example…

33-year-old Kimberly K. Emelyantsev of Tooele, Utah adopted a baby from Russia. On March 7th her adopted son Nicoli died from head trauma. In court Emelyantsev admitted dropping Nicoli on his head intentionally “out of pure frustration.” The Emelyantsevs also have another adopted child from Russia and three biological children. Nicoli had down syndrome as did the other Russian child and one of her biological children as well.

I applaud her for trying to take on other children besides her own especially ones with special needs but she failed when it came to gut check time and took out her frustrations on the most innocent of lives.

She’s facing 15-years behind bars when she’s sentenced on August 8th.

Thanks to Bonnie for the tip.

Oh my god that poor baby. I’m very harsh on child abuse cases because my ex husband abused my child and was sent to jail the second I found out about it. He didnt do NEARLY enough time. She murdered her child. I hope she gets a long, long, long sentence.

It’s amazing how people are so quick to judge. did anyone ever consider that she had a biological child and another adopted child from russia both with down syndrome. That she raised with her two other children. Do you know how much money ,time, heart, effort that takes! What really happens in interogation? Do they they exsaust you in the most traumatic time of your life when you need your faimly most. This story seems unjustified considering her history of giving her life to help children with special needs. Can you imagine your family’s lives being ripped apart and mabye this truly was just a horrible accident! What if ? Was she defended by a public defender that could care less? Maybe no one cares

Or maybe she actually did what she said. Just a thought.
