This story sadly comes from my home state.  My cousin was actually a responding officer to this and his wife told me there were never so much emotional responses then that day. My 2nd cousin was born a few months later and her middle name is Brianna for this sweet angel.

ow sick and demented do you have to be to do this to your own child let alone any child. How could they only give that bitch 27 years in prison? 27 years when she was part responsible for what happened to Brianna. She knew damn well what was going on and could have stopped it. she could have picked up her 2 kids and ran for dear life or could have called the cops, but instead she let them rape and murder Brianna. it’s bullshit that she didn’t hear Brianna cry that night that she didn’t hear her cry because of being slammed into the ground, or the fact that she a 5 month old infant was being raped and sodomized by her own father and uncle. What in the world could an infant do that was so bad to be abused in that manner? The justice system has greatly failed to keep the innocent safe and the guilty punished. Why does someone who kill a cop or someone who is driving drunk and kills someone in a wreck get life in prison but for someone who rapes, abuses, or even murders a child gets a slap on the wrist? where is the justice? it greatly angers me. I am 24 and have 3 daughters of my own, and I am glad I have a wonderful husband, but if I was Stephanie I wouldn’t have thought twice before taking action if someone was hurting my daughter(s). I don’t like to use the word hate, but I do hate them for what they did to that poor baby. If she was my daughter I would have done everything and anything to protect her from the world.
