It’s a shame that the family can’t get temporary custody of the kids, at least for the holidays.

The thing that is very sad is that the 1 year old now apart of social services and they wont let her go to the Aunt or the Grandmother. This baby will spend Christmas without them. Because the mother was hiding them and was on drugs, the court has to place the child in the welfare system. The Aunt and Grandmoher are wonderful caregivers and are willing to do anything to prove that they can take care of the children. The thing that is really hard is that nothing will be decided until January, after Christmas. I am so happy that the kids are okay and not around their mother while she is doing meth, but sad that it takes the courts so much time to work it out where the best intrest is for the kids when there are 2 people more than willing to take the kids and take drug tests and have their homes checked to make sure there isnt drugs and there is food for the children. I dont know how a parent can pick meth over their children. After being on this web page, I see that it seems alot of parents do it. The children do not have a choice or a voice. I hope that they throw the book at any parent or person that does these drugs around the children. It breaks my heart.
