Maryland woman arrested for baby dumping

Woman Charged In Newborn’s Death:

22-year-old Melanie Blevins of Westminster, MD. has been arrested for killing her newborn.

She claims that back in October the baby was born stillborn and she put the baby in a trashbag and dumped it in a dumpster behind a church.

The autopsy says different. According to the medical examiner the baby was born alive and the baby died due to manual asphyxiation.

Maryland’s safe haven law says a baby can be dropped off at a police station or hospital for up to three days.

    Do these “mothers” honestly think the police and medical personnel can’t figure out what actually happened?

    Why do people have to hurt inoccent babies, do they not know that there is alot of people out there who would take their child and give them a normal and good life. There are so many families out there who can’t have kids of their own and would be happy to adopt your child and love them as their own! What is happening in today’s world that people can hurt small blessings that was given to them???
