New Hampshire dads push sons to fight

Trench Reynolds

Cops say dads pushed fights:

Police in Derry, New Hampshire have arrested two so-called dads in unrelated incidents but have a recurring theme.

35-year-old Robert Dearborn arranged a fight between his son and another kid and urged his son to smash the other kid’s head on the pavement then stomp on it.

46-year-old George Primeau drove his son to another kid’s house and told his son to call out the other kid for a fight and told him to knock the other kid out.

It’s one thing to teach your kids how to defend themselves but driving your kids to fight and egging them on to injure another kid is borderline barbarism.

Why do people feel they need to ‘fight’? Girls these days can be just as bad as boys when it comes to this…but to have your parent encourage such behavior is so wrong!!! ‘Smash his head into the pavement then stomp on it’…..sounds like that dad’s head got stomped on at some time!! No decent parent would ever encourage such behavior! Had his son did as dad told him and the other boy was severely injured with brain damage for the rest of his life…would he have any remorse? I doubt it!! These dad’s need to spend some serious time behind bars and their kids taken away from them!! Unreal!!!!

I WILL teach my son self-defense. I WILL teach him that he should never start a fight, but that he should always finish one that’s forced on him. We’ve become a society that values harmony over right and wrong, and I won’t have it.

However, driving him to another’s house to have a fight is a bit over the line. Encouraging him to smash a kids head into the pavement then stomp on it – in effect encouraging attempted murder… that’s insane.

oh crap. My stepdad drove me up to confront a girl that I got in a fight with earlier that day. He said if she came after me to knock her out. would you consider that the same. Sorry it made me laugh. I was 12 and it was the first time I got in a fight.
