In the interest of propaganda
Rod Carver is the pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Coastlands in Corpus Christi, Texas. That’s the church that’s mainly behind the free Hannah Overton movement.
Pastor Carver has a new project born out of the free Hannah movement. It’s called In the Interest of Justice and is designed to educate the public about the judicial system. Because if anyone knows more about the legal system it’s a church pastor. That was sarcasm by the way. But if anyone needs an education in the legal system it’s the free Hannah folks because it’s obvious they have no clue.
And where was the interest of justice for Andrew Burd?

This church has gone too far- I’ve read so many comments on so many sites, and the real story is finally coming out. Parents Behaving Badly has this case nailed for what it is!

This is jury tampering and anyone who doesn’t admit that is either blind or doesn’t care about real justice.

From what Blastus has been saying, this goes all the way to California. This church has gone too far. And to think they are perpetuating this line of thinking with potential jurors. I agree- it’s becoming jury tampering.

They are in the area of state. They can no longer qualify for tax exempt status. Am I wrong on this?
And yes, I would think that if a leader of a group who has a special interest in a case that this same leader is trying to have re-tried with new jurors creates a “juror education program”, then it is nothing less than attempted jury tampering. Has anyone written the DA in this case regarding these concerns?

The Corpus Christi Caller Times wrote an editorial recently raising concerns with this group. I don’t know if the DA is looking into charges or not.
