Filthy Wal-Mart child leads to filthy trailer
Filthy Child Leads Police To Filthier Home; Woman Arrested:
A 4-year-old girl was found wandering in a St. Augustine, Fla. Wal-Mart. The girl was visibly filthy. The girl was in the custody of one Patricia Devlin. When confronted with the child’s condition Devlin said the girl doesn’t like bats and she won’t force her.
This led police to check to conditions of Devlin’s mobile home. It shouldn’t come as a surprise about what police found. It was the usual, garbage everywhere, rotting food, and a dog covered in his own feces.
Now Devlin isn’t one of the girl’s breeders. The birth organism is in prison and the sperm donor wanted no part of her.
What a tragic story of irresponsibility where three people couldn’t care enough to properly care for a little girl. Pathetic.

I’ll take her! She will have to take a bath, but there are toys in the tub so she’ll probably have fun. I’ll feed her and buy her new clothes. And, while we are somewhat disorganized (we’re currently remodeling and building an addition), there’s no garbage or poop on the floors.

That’s just disgusting. I hope that poor little girl finally gets a family that cares for her.
Dammit, I wish I could take her in.

this is exactly why my husband and I are in the process of becoming foster parents! We have 2 daughters of our own, and they are treated like little princesses, and every child should be!

4-year-olds don’t like a lot of things. If they’re in your care, there are certain things you have to make them do. That’s why you’re the grown-up. Even if I had to hold my 4-year-old down, she’d still have a bath every day. My little ones love their bath… because I take the time to make it enjoyable for them. If this sack of you-know-what doesn’t have the time or interest necessary to properly care for this little girl, she never should have agreed to care for her while Mommy Dearest languishes in prison.
I’m good friends with a family who fosters children, and I’ve seen too many precious little ones enter their care whose stories tear my heart. If my husband and I had the physical room in our home, we’d do the same thing. These babies need someone to stick up for them. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… you need a license to drive, but not to procreate? Something’s wrong here.

It’s understandable that the dog doesn’t like baths, but a child? Hopefully, the little girl had a bath and a decent meal before the day was over.

My son, Matthew, loves taking baths.. He does not like getting his hair washed but, I do that. He gets over it. I give him one everyday.. Being his stay-at-home parent I do lots of things with him. Our house, while not the cleanest on the planet, is not a pigstye, either.. This woman could care less about that child, that’s for sure.. Maybe the trailer, as well as the “trash” that lives in it should be condemned!
