Man rapes girl, mother does nothing, this is not a repeat
Man arrested in repeated assault of girlfriend’s daughter:
Normally I don’t post stories of boyfriends who abuse the children or their girlfriends because for all intents and purposes they’re not parents. This is after all Parents Behaving Badly. However this one I’m going to allow and you’ll see why shortly.
31-year-old Lonnie Edwards Jr. of Bradenton, Florida has been arrested for sexually abusing the daughter of his girlfriend. The abuse allegedly started in 2005 when the girl was 11 and Edwards moved in with her mother and last happened in late February of this year.
When the girl reported the abuse to her own mother she did not believe the girl and would not seek medical help for the girl. No word on if the mother has been charged but she sure as hell should be.
Ladies, if you have kids they’re the most important thing in your life and not some guy’s penis.

I don’t get it. I really don’t. These men have wives/adult girlfriends. Do they really “need” to prey on the daughters? What is wrong with these guys? Shoot ‘em. I’d suggest shooting the worthless mother, but how much more trauma does the girl need. Hopefully she’ll find a loving family where the “loving” is appropriate.

I’m really not sure who is more to blame him or the mother. Obviously she can’t care that much for her child if she would take the word of her boyfriend over her own child. That’s really sad, not only is this girl scarred by this man, she’s scarred by her mother as well. God help her in the future because this life she’s living will not help her later on in her own relationships. Why are some parents so unworthy of having kids?

Blame em both! Dear God, I have two daughters, and I won’t even leave them alone with male relatives!!! The only men who can be alone with my children are their father and one trusted friend. NO OTHER MALES, no matter how “nice” they seem. I was molested, and I’m going to make damn sure my kids never suffer that.
If a Mama loves her girls, she keeps the MEN away!

Damaged, I’m so sorry to hear your story and I believe you although I don’t know you. I can relate; no one believed me at all when I tried to tell them what my whole family did to me; no one ever believed me at all when I tried to tell them that my whole family tried to destroy and kill me, in fact, they always told me that I “deserved what I got” , that I was a “liar and an evil one” and that I should just “shut up, go home and quit trying to cause my family’s troubles forever”, so I lived with abuse and neglect. Like you, I always know that no one will ever take my side. Even my paternal grandmother used to watch me getting beaten by her sadistic grandson. Strangely enough, this is how we can relate to this story and this story really made me throw up cuz that so-called mother is a truly fat ugly bloated bitch. I hope she and her penis get beat up in prison by their inmates cuz even inmates hate child abusers and child molesters. I wish that poor little girl all the best and I hope she never sees those monsters again.

I know of a case where the step father was given time in prison but the mother of the 3 girls got only a slap on the hand! She knew of the first incident with her oldest daughter but did nothing…2nd daughter went to her about an incident…still sweet mom looked the other way and worse yet…even though the 2 older girls told her things the step-father had said/done-this worthless piece of shit called their mother continued to leave her 6 year old daughter with the step-father each and every morning when she left for work! Step-dad was alone with this young child for about an hour each school day! But-when things all came to a head the worthless mother go away will leaving those girls alone when she KNEW things had gone on. Not to mention she also knew her ‘husband’ had a sexual abuse past too. The authorities KNOW all of this-I know because I have seen and read the police reports myself but still mom got no time what so ever!! Now-tell me how right that is? She should be behind bars too!! In my eyes-she is just as guilty for what happened to her girls as the step-dad is—-if she had booted his butt out the door when the first daughter went to her or better yet-didn’t get involved when she first knew of her husband’s past those girls would have been spared! Just makes me sick that she is free! The police/courts etc. need to open their eyes…..if the mother did this once, what’s to say she doesn’t do it again?? She is the one who left her small child with a known child abuser but she walks away free. Makes me sick to my stomach!!

I have to somewhat disagree with you on a certain point… Boyfriends of the mother can be fathers, even if not biologically… If they treat the children as their own and have been with them day in and day out, and actually been a father figure… HOWEVER men like this can never be considered fathers, even biological ones. You are right they are just penises. I find it appalling that anyone, let alone someone that conceived the child can ever allow this to happen, let alone participate.
No matter what you believe your child. I have seen sites that say some of these “mothers” don’t know how to raise children, because they are children themselves… BULLSHIT!!! I am a mother of 4 (yes count them 4) at 25 years old. I had my oldest at 18. I was still a kid. I grew up, fast. No more parties for me, or questionable characters. NO MATTER WHAT, even if you are living in your car, if you have children, you protect them from the evils of this world. There are times, sure, I miss having the opportunity to grow up without a child, but I love all of mine, and cannot imagine life without them for a single moment.
It is people, like some that are mentioned on this website that give young parents a bad name.
