This is an excellent blog post from Dr. Amy Tuteur who is an OB-GYN. That’s a gynecologist for those of you not in the know.
Anyway it’s a tale of a woman’s denial that shows how some women just don’t want to believe how bad their boyfriends really are.

Reading this made me cry… I couldn’t imagine the horror of realizing someone close to me would rape my little girl….

But we know nothing whatsoever about the boyfriend in question. For all we know he gave off few, if any, signs of his perversion. And if that is the (highly unlikely) case, then, well, wouldn’t you have trouble believing that someone you care about, however naively, who seems perfectly upstanding is actually a baby rapist?
