British Breeders jailed for hell hole home

Children’s life in a ‘hell hole’: Parents jailed over rubbish-tip home:

A pair of British Breeders from York in England were sentenced to 3 years on child cruelty charges. The couple, who can’t be named for UK legal reasons, were the ‘parents’ of three children ages one, three and four.

The home had the prerequisite rotting food and feces and the windows were kept covered and the kids were not allowed outside and had developmental issues.

What makes this article different from all the other filthy home stories is this one has pictures. View at your own risk.

Thanks to Rosa for the tip.

unknown: what, in your opinion, do you think the outcome of this situation will be?

Well the kids are in care at the moment….the mother had gotten to visit them a few times before jail. I think that the parents will serve the time, afterward I beleive both parents will take the appropiate steps on being able to get the children back. In my opinion I think they will go and be with the mom if she is able to get them back. I think the father has a harder road ahead of him (with the mental issues) and it will take longer to get it sorted BUT I know he misses the kids sorely.

Unknown, how did you know that no one is disputing that this house was disgusting? Just asking.

come on sf….why would you ask this? seriously… assume that after seeing the pictures, no one is saying the house wasn’t as reported.

unknown: would child services allow that? assuming the parents serve the full 3 years…would they let the kids stay in foster care for 3 years and then reunite them with the parents? where i’m from it seems they seek permanency for the children in as little time as possible. they prefer the child be in care no longer than a year. if by then the parents haven’t made tremendous strides towards reunification, they move to terminate parental rights. i was just wondering how it works there. is there any family member that could take the little ones?

sfdude: Seriously?? Why do insist on being a jerk toward me? Let me rephrase my comment so you cant turn it around on me. I AM NOT TRYING TO DISPUTE THAT THE HOUSE IS CRAZY NASTY! As far as that goes both mum and dad are not disputing that either and that is what counts. I am simply attempting to give some insight on this situation. Fact of the matter is regaurdless of the surroundings which have occured over time due to whatever illness/excuses they (the parents) may have or come up with they do love the children. My dad was a alcolholic and beat me whenever he deemed it, but that didnt mean he didnt love me….he had a illness (which he later over came). It doesnt make it right but it does make it understandable (for me at least).

Karen: Keep in mind this is only my assumptions. I think the children will be placed with the moms parents. The dad doesnt know his father and his mother is addicted to drugs/alcohol. I may however be totally wrong….I am unsure on how long they have until parental rights are taken away.

    lol…ok…just f-ing with you.
i know it’ll take a long time for dad but hopefully mom will get the counseling she needs while serving her sentence and a support group for when she gets home. i do believe you when you say they love their children….and being a foster/adoptive mom i know most chhildren want to be with their family. i hope things turn out for the best. are you in a position to be able to help mom out when she gets home…through guidance and teaching and just plain support when she needs it?
