LakishaHogue6-Year-Old Drives After Mom Smokes “That Stinky Stuff”:

Police: 6-Year-Old Driver Says Mom Was ‘Smoking The Smelly Stuff’:

Is that a mugshot of the year candidate or what?

Anyway, that my friends is 30-year-old Lakisha Hogue of Coatesville, Pa. She was arrested after the Dodge Durango she was riding in was pulled over. The reason her SUV was pulled over is because her 6-year-old daughter was driving it.

Officer Robert Keetch said he had to do a double take after seeing the little girl driving. “There were two white knuckles and a little head popping over the stearing wheel,” he said.

Hogue was allegedly laughing her ass off when police pulled the vehicle over. The girl told police that she was driving because her mom was ‘tired’. However when police contacted her aunt the girl admitted that Hogue was smoking ‘the stinky stuff’. Hogue allegedly said she was teaching her daughter to drive. I didn’t know you could get your learner’s permit at 6 in Pennsylvania.

I’m curious to know where they were driving from and to. So not only did Hogue more than likely tell her daughter to lie to police but a Dodge Durango is not a small car. So because her need to get high was greater than the need to keep her child safe she put her daughter’s and God knows how many other drivers’ and pedestrians’ lives in danger.

Thanks to Cassandra for the tip.

Not all of us from PA are stupid, so please don’t think this idiot is representative of the entire population.
P.S. The permit age there is 16.

Okay Trench, we need a new version of the open thread and dedicate it to these amazing mugshots. Like a beauty contest. We can all vote for our faves and you get to name the winner. This here is probably at least a runner up.

Is that woman high or possessed? It’s a scary picture. I vote no for legalization.

Oh my Gosh, people amaze me to no end. It is really scary to think that people like this exist. Why?? There are too many stupid people in this country. Sadly, these parents pass the stupidity on to their kids. I wonder how many of these children have turned out normal over all these years without a stable role model in their lives? That mug shot scares me.

I wouldn’t, and most proponents of decriminalization wouldn’t, say it is harmless. The main argument for decriminalization is that pot is no more harmful than alcohol, and the taxpayers time and money are wasted arresting, prosecuting, and imprisoning both casual and therapeutic users. PBB has run at least one story about kids driving while the breeders were drunk. The problem here is not that this moron smoked the stinky stuff–she allowed herself to become intoxicated while responsible for her kid. If this were a mom who got drunk and let her kid drive, would you be saying, “See? Told you that whole prohibition thing was a good idea.”

Holy crap! We have a Dodge Durango, and I have a hard time driving it (I call it The Tank)… and I’m 5’5! I’ve also got a tall 5-year-old who looks like a Cabbage Patch Doll when she sits in the driver’s seat of her daddy’s Durango. How a young child could possibly reach the pedals is beyond me; even if you move the seat as close to the steering wheel as possible, there’s still no way.

Marijuana’s harmless, eh, proponents of legalization?

Can a 6 year old even REACH the peddles?

Makes you wonder if Ms. Hogue has even one viable brain cell left. If pot doesn’t cause stupidity, then it sure does a fine imitation of it. I hope they find that child a home with a RESPONSIBLE adult. You know…..one who won’t use her as a chauffeur for those times when ya just gotta toke it up.
