Miguel Matias admits to killing daughter
NYC dad admits killing daughter found in boiler:
One of my predecessors originally posted about Miguel Matias here.
He’s the crazy ass bastard from New York City who killed his 14-year-old daughter for sending a text message to a boy. He’s admitted to killing the girl by strangling her then dumping her body in the apartment building’s boiler partially burning the body. With his guilty plea he’s looking at 25 to life.
But it doesn’t end there. His own daughter that he killed was also pregnant with his baby.
Matias had a history of violence including trying to set a car on fire while his kids were inside. He had been previously institutionalized for that incident.
The proposed sentence comes nowhere near to fitting the crime and there’s no way that this scumbag should have ever been allowed out on the streets.
Just one more reason I think they should bring back asylums for the criminally insane. Some people can’t be fixed.

I AGREE so much with this. They are SICK. I think sane people should fully pay for their actions (and I do agree with death sentence) but sick people like this should pay by being kept far from normal people.
They will forever be dangerous for our kids…

I don’t think the mySpace that amsfast found is this guy. It’s a different Miguel. The myspace page says that that guy has no kids.

That poor child. Not only did she have to endure sexual abuse that led to her conceiving her fathers child, but she also was murdered by his own hand. I hope that he is tried for two murders. Not sure NY stands on that option. He should get the death penalty. There’s no use for him in this world.

okay I just can’t get over this, the man had got his daughter prego and then killed her for talking to another boy? so it was out of jealousy? in the new york article it said he had a history of mental illness, y was he still aloud 2 see his kids? and i still wanna knowif he a police

uhm is this his myspace? and if so was he a cop? i wasnt sure but if you look at his #1 friend it is a boy and his profile has rip ana #1 sister 1993-2008(she coulda been 14) and she died in febuary of 08. so if he was a nypd why wasnt that mentioned ? and why is everyone making a big deal about him not getting medicaid for his mental illness? shouldn’t the department of got him help? none of this makes any sense will somebody please help because i am confused, oh yea and i hope he rots in hell
