Somebody’s Taking Monopoly a Little too Seriously….

Angel

…..because it looks like the authorities are busy handing out ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ cards to child abusers, in recent weeks.
The background on this story is so familiar that I think we could all recite it from memory. Mother of baby finds new penis. Penis (allegedly) attacks baby. Baby dies.

This child had multiple old and new injuries. His name was Evan Coen. He had multiple fractures of the skull and ribs which were in various stages of healing……and he was only 15 months old. The mother’s BF, Bradley Conger, 25, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse, but although the mother was present the night of the final ‘incident’ (beating is more like it), she has not been charged. Bradley, himself, has since been released from jail. The authorities say that they are still ‘investigating’.

An autopsy has already been performed, proving that little Evan was abused over an extended period of time. Oh, and did I mention that there were two other children in the house, ages 3 and 6, who are still in the custody of Evan’s mother? Now….since no one has been arrested (well, and had it stick) yet, I’d really like to know why those other kids are still with a woman who might be complicit in the abuse. Since the abuse was carried out over a span of time, I have a sneaky suspicion that she, at the very least, KNEW what was going on. All I can say is that must have been some really good tube steak (smothered in sauteed underwear, no doubt), for her to sacrifice her son in order to keep it.

But DID she sacrifice her son to her BF? There are so many conflicting stories in this mess, that I really don’t know what to think yet. There is a grandmother who noticed no signs of abuse; a young mother with a three year old daughter in addition to Evan; a BF who has a 6 year old son of his own and has full custody of him; and the father of the dead boy was killed in a car wreck last spring. This story has more twists than a Chubby Checker album, and less accurate information than a National Enquirer story at press time. I will keep watching this, and try to keep it updated for you.

For more details, and more confusing and conflicting information, you can read here, here, and here.

I’d like to thank Joe for sending us this tip from Kansas, and ask him to send us any additional information, if he finds it.

In the Evan Coen story CPS has taken both the Moms 3 year old & the BFs 6 year old but the BF is still out. Wichita had 8 children abused to death last year I don’t know what’s going on in Wichita.

    Kay:
Where did you get your information? I had a hard time finding what little info I had, and if you could share your sources, I would REALLY appreciate it. I thought the articles said that the mom was taking care of both her other kid, and the BF’s kid too….has that changed?

Here is an article based on an interview with the suspects sister

maybe, just maybe the BF did not do this? Who else had access? Daycare? Just not much info. We will see (maybe).

Why is it that is you went out on the street and broke some random adults arm you would spend more time in jail (on average) then is you beat your child? It works that was for incest too, most states have shorter sentences for incest than if you rape/molest someone not related.

Yeah, more facts are needed. I almost lost my adopted son. He came home from daycare and I found a large, handprint type bruise on his back while giving him a bath. Too big to be one of other 2 y/o’s at the daycare. He couldn’t tell me what happened (my fend bite me). I went into the daycare the next morning, marched him over to the teacher, pulled up his shirt and asked her if she knew what happened to my child. She said the worker who was watching over him was out ill but she’d check and get back to me. I told her I needed the daycare to put an incident report into his folder so the injury could be explained in the event that our caseworker questioned it. As soon as I left, the daycare called the caseworker and reported me for abuse. Keep in mind that I’d had over 13 kids in my home at that point with NO injuries, no bad reports, and we were often told we were one of the top foster families working with the state. CPS took my son (we were in the adoption phase of the foster placement) and put him with another family. They didn’t even ask me what happened before assuming that I was guilty. I had to undergo an investigation and luckily, the investigator decided that it didn’t make sense for me to ask about a bruise that no one would have seen. She was the only one who looked at my history with other foster children (my husband was out of town at the time). She also wondered about the video surveillance because it was so fuzzy that she couldn’t see anything. It took twelve days for us to get our son back. And, it took over a year before CPS was willing to place any other children with us. Wouldn’t you know that about a year after our adoption, I met a woman who worked at the daycare who mentioned to me that a certain worker had been released from the daycare for pinning kids to their mats during naptime when they wouldn’t be still?

The moral of the long, drawn out story is that not everyone who looks guilty is. Praise God, that we got our awesome little guy back. I honestly thought that I would die. If this bf is guilty, I hope the facts emerge to prove it. I pray that the abuser is found soon.

It was on the Wichita news & I believe in the Wichita Eagle The courts have decided to keep both children in CPS custody. I don’t know who hurt this baby but someone did. I hope they are just dotting their I & crossing their Ts The courts just allowed a step mother to plea to a lesser charge in Daytona Robertsons death they said she will probably get 55 months Daytona was in Stepmoms babysitter & dads care in the 24 hours before she died The step mom Katie Robertson’s first trail ended deadlocked so rather than go through a trail again the offered her a plea last week. So I hope they are trying not to drop the ball in this case.

GOTTA HAVE A MAN, GOTTA HAVE A MAN, GOTTA HAVE A MAN. And then a little baby has no life fit for a weed. Good job “Mom”. Hope this guy gets special spa treatment while he is in the shower in prison. A little beating would be a nice side dish. (am I getting a bit resentful about this or what?)
    Thanks again Angel.

Ok, Bradley and “mom”, So, yeah, we don’t know you. But the facts are what they are.
    -First link – KAKE.com
“Autopsy confirmed that Evan had suffered SEVERE TRAUMA”
-and “several skull fractures”, even by the dictionary definition, several is at LEAST THREE.
-”The skull fractures were determined to be in various stages of healing,” meaning it had been happening alot.
-”muliple broken bones, in various stages of healing indicating there was PRIOR ABUSE.”
    2nd Link – KAKE.com
“Evan was a victim of child abuse and had multiple bones in various stages of healing” Again, at least 3 broken bones.
-”Autopsy report shows that Evan had been abused”
-”an aunt called 911″ WHY didn’t any of the house full of people call 911 immediately?
    -3rd link – Witchita Eagle
-besides confirming the above facts, they also stated that YOU, Bradley, said “Denver was scoring, so we were being loud” In a houseful of people, watching a football game, SOMEHOW a child, who has clearly been abuse severly multiple times, does NOT come to a screeching halt to save that child’s life??? With that statement, you condemned yourself Bradley. Also, the fact that “several people” were around him, according to your above post, and YOU DID NOT KNOW HE WAS ABUSED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER? Oh, come on, who do you think you are fooling? You are right about one thing, nothing escapes God’s notice as He is the one who watches over us and never sleeps. Dozens of injuries, over a long period of time spells G-U-I-L-T-Y on someone’s part and that is YOU, Bradley Conger and mom. You and you alone are the parents who must answer when a child is severely abused to the point of DEATH.
In the Bible, Number 32:23 to be exact, God says “You can be sure your sin will find you out”
There is no way out, and now that you have the nerve to post here to get sympathy and prayers at the expense of a tiny little boy whom was beaten, bullied, knocked around, and placed SECOND to “Denver was scoring”, means I will personally make sure that this case is thoroughly followed thru on. I can probably speak for a few others here as well.
“sometimes things happen that you can’t explain”.
Well, it just got explained for you, do you understand what happened NOW?????

Wow…. I can’t even look past the fact that the comment left by Bradley appears to have been typed by a 3 year old. Horrible spelling, grammatical errors, punctuation is a nightmare…… just…. wow…… Bradley, did you pass the first grade? Never mind the fact that the evidence speaks for itself. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Does it make you feel like a man to ha ve created a life and the extinguished it so heartlessly? Fuck you if you think we are buying your bullshit. Save your lies for the judge and jury.
