Reno idiot Breeder with lame excuse
Detectives: Reno father beat child unconscious, then claimed the child fell from bed:

Anyway that’s 19-year-old Gerardo Espinosa of Reno, Nevada. He’s accused of beating his 2-year-old son (do the math) into unconsciousness.
At the hospital this moron tried using the ‘he fell out of bed’ excuse. That’s right up there with ’she walked into a door’ and ’she said she was 18′.
I hate to keep repeating myself but I’ll keep saying it until I don’t have to say it anymore.
To all the scumbag child abusers out there. You are not smarter than the police and you sure as hell aren’t smarter than the doctors and medical staff. So instead of having to lie to the police and hospital how about not beating your kids. Ever think of that ya dumbasses?

April, I know you get excited easily, but I don’t think this is a case of multiple log-ins…its more like two people using the same name – impersonation of another, for lack of a better explanation. Like Cina did with several of our names on other sites, lol. So one of the Jenns changed hers to differentiate.

Lol, I don’t mind staying Jenn from NM, and I like the routine posters on the site, so I would have to say I’m not the one who doesn’t like you. I’ve mostly been lurking the site since it was at b5, and enjoy reading the comments. I’m right up there with sterlizing some of the featured people on the site with rusty, dull implements for having kids and mistreating them. It makes me sick that these women can have child after child, while I’m 2 for 4 on having my own little ones (number 2 due in Jan/Feb 2010). I only wanted 2 kids, because I want them to have a sibling, but I don’t want to have more than I can handle financially or emotionally. I can probably be as potty mouthed as jj, and as vicious as almost any of the regular posters when it comes to people who abuse and kill their kids, or leave a baby in a dunpster when there are safe haven laws in place (I’m the Jenn who posted on needing a campaign for greater awareness of safe haven laws, they just aren’t emphasized enough, I know about them, but I’m on the internet a large portion of the day off and on, and that’s just about the only place I have seen them advertised).

Even if that were the case, Jenn – if they like another site better than this one – why come here and gripe about it? Why not just go to the other site? Wouldn’t that have been simpler?
The way janine’s comment read was that she wanted less ‘personal opinion’, and more ‘factual story’. I’m not the only one who read it that way, either. If we’re wrong, then janine can feel free to correct our misunderstanding, but since she hasn’t, I have to think we understood correctly. It also looks as if she thought that particular story was written by someone other than Trench (re: “thats what i miss about trenchs posts” coupled with “get off the soap box and bring us the story.”). Each story has the author’s name underneath the title. It’s easy to check.

Well I would go back to that site and gripe but its not there. and ya im talking about parentsbehavingbadly not this site. that site was kinda better because on this one every one is so busy bitching about what they want to do and how they’ll do it that they don’t really put a lot of the story up. I was under the impression that trench was teh only one that posted for ppb and this site was a few different people. the other site was better.

When Trench wrote for PBB, it was owned by someone else. It is now owned by Trench. He now decides who writes here, and who doesn’t. This is still PBB, but I believe he has not finished swapping out the content. Trench has another site where he is the sole writer – it is called Trench Reynolds Crime News (blatant plug for your other site Trench!). Perhaps that one would suit you better. If you want to continue here though, and don’t like the other writers, please feel free to skip their posts, and only read Trench’s, as I’m sure Trench appreciates your visiting his site. As for this abusive jerk – chances are, if he beat this child into unconsciousness, this isn’t the first time he ever abused the kid. Abusers don’t usually start out with a ‘near death experience’. They work their way up from slaps to punches, to more severe trauma. Did no one notice that this child was being abused? His mother? Grandma? Neighbors? Daycare? Good grief, people! Have we become a nation of blind people?
I hope the child recovers and is placed in a LOVING home.

I know that my own “brother” keeps his little girl away from me so she wont tell me if her uncle needs another “reminder” like the one he got last week, on how to treat a child.

Too much of our nation has moved on to the “all about me” phase and forgotten about the welfare of others. But, it is quite possible that no one other than the parents provided care for the child. I, too, hope he recovers and is placed in a good home. I hope the father gets anger management and parenting classes and is closely monitored if the state plans on giving that child back to him.

Assholes like this will never learn because they are self centered pricks who think they are intellegent enough to outsmart the cops. I think that alot of it starts in childhood, being told they’re perfect, not being held accounable for their actions, it always being other people’s fault. Basically, parents who let their children get away with murder and then defend them to anyone who actually tells them they’re wrong.

Nope, according to all the books I’ve read (plenty, since my bab’ll be the first newborn in the house ever) thhey don’t start that until 3 months-ish. That’s why you have to be careful with their bedding and such, they can’t turn and breathe.
