Roswell Breeders busted over drug tested toddler

Trench Reynolds

aliendrugsParents busted over toddler’s dope test:

In Roswell, New Mexico Breeders Joshua Buenrostro, 20, and Cecilia Ogas, 23 were arrested when their 2-year-old son tested positive for weed and meth.

Let’s hear from Roswell police Sgt. Levi Moody about this kind of thing…

“Drug use is so prevalent that these kids are being exposed way too often,” Moody said. “We could make a case a day on this situation.”

And Roswell isn’t exactly what I would call a metropolis.

The worst part is the Breeders are only facing a little more than a year behind bars. Again sentences need to be handed out for scum like this that expose their kids to drugs like this.

Did that sound too preachy? Then just call me The Right Reverend Trench Reynolds.

Thanks to Marci for the tip.

I can understand how toddlers would be affected by second hand pot smoke, but meth? What’s going on here? How did this happen? And why are these parents not rotting in hell?

  • Lori Says:

The way I understand it is that meth fumes/gases are extremely strong. My niece got sick when her dad was cooking it. YUCK.

  • Southern Lady Says:

Wow. How disgusting. Thank you Lori. I’ve learned something new today.

Oh, did they take her away from her dad, your niece, or put him in jail?

  • Lori Says:

It’s a long story. He was at their mom’s and supposed to be watching the kids. (The mom and dad have been divorced for years.) When mom came back she caught him cookin meth, kicked him out of there, threw away all of his meth makin’ junk and wont allow the kids around him anymore. There’s more to it than this, mom’s mental health wasn’t good at the time and she voluntarily committed herself. So guess who watched the kids for 2 weeks? Not dad! We did.
This was all very recent, btw. Kids just went home a week ago yesterday.

  • Jenn from NM Says:

In Roswell there really isn’t much to do. I’m not from there, but from nearby. I actually live in one of the largest cities in NM, and there isn’t a lot to do here, either. that being said, still no excuse for a baby to test positive for drugs, and they should be getting a lot more than 1 year.
    Preach on Trench!

  • Angel Says:

    Thank you, Reverend!

I think the parents should get way more than a year as well. And who is going to get custody of the kids, I wonder????

hey preachy, i’m with you all the way. the sentencing needds to be a lot tougher. also, i’d like to see mother’s who expose their unborn child to drugs (with the baby testing positive at birth) have to take some responsibility for it. not just the slap on the wrist of removing the child and making them take some parenting classes and random drug testing. whether they want to be reunited with their child or not, they should receive some form of discipline for the damage done to the child…child abuse is child abuse.
