Mom sold her 5 year-old
It appears that 5 year-old Shaniya Davis is missing and her mother (Nicole Davis picture here) has been arrested
The girl was reported missing Tuesday morning by her mother, who has been charged with human trafficking and child abuse involving prostitution.
According to arrest documents cited by the newspaper, Davis “knowingly provide(d) Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude” and she “permit(ted) an act of prostitution.”
Shaniya had only been living with Davis for a month.
There is video of the man who took the girl – of him carrying the 5 year-old into a hotel room.
The search for Shaniya was called off at dark and I don’t see and update of if she has been located or not.

There is nothing saying DSS had anything to do with the custody of this child. Just because a child is neglected or abused doesn’t mean DSS was ever involved. Unfortunately, Child Protective Services is a REACTIVE agency, not a preventive one and they cannot and do not go around soliciting cases. Do you want the government just showing up on your door just in case you might hurt your child? From what I’ve heard it sounds like this was between the dad and the mom.

Here is one that shows a still from the video of her being taken into the hotel room…. I am sad thinking of the horror that this little one must have been feeling. I also read that she was a product of a one night stand. The father kept her because the skeevy ass mother had no money and no place to live. He felt that since she seemed to have gotten on her feet, she deserved some time with Shaniya. he was just trying to be a good father and give his daughter some time with her mommy. I bet he is sick over this.

Oh wow, wonder hwho the lady in the picture with daddy is. She looks all torn up, I think at least that woman, who wasn’t even the birth vessel loved that baby very much, you can tell from the pictures of the little girl that someone did. Looking at her face just got me tearing up, because I can see the pain in her face, wonder if she’s the one Shaniya has been calling mama or if she is grandma, but she looks like how a mother should look when their baby is missing like this. He should have never gave that baby back to that slag, should have just continued raising that little girl, and let her decide when she was old enough to fight back if she wanted a relationship with her birth vessel or not. If he’s been raising her her whole life, then the slag would not even be mommy to her, that honor would belong to the woman in his life. She must have felt cionfused when he took her over to her birth vessl’s place, like going from heaven to hell (because I seriously doubt that a woman who has just got on her feet would provide the kind of home she was used to, and if she never really knew her birth vessel, it wouldn’t feel like home, it would feel like being dumped at a stranger’s house).

I think the woman in the pic with dad is his sister who helped raise Shaniya. I can’t even hardly look at them b/c of how upset they look. Does anyone ever recover from losing a child in this manner? I’m not sure I could.

Imagine that the picture was taken before they found the body…. I can only imagine what their faces look like today. My guess is that Daddy doesn’t want to go on living without his precious little angel.

I’m just speachless and so hearbroken for this Father and his family. Yes, he is worthy of that title, at least he gave a damn about his baby girl. I can’t imagine how he will be able to go on living with the decision to let his baby go back in the arms of that f’n MONSTER! Selling your baby so that she can be raped?? I am sick at my stomach. This little girl looks about the same size as my 6 1/2 YO (yes, she’s very petite for her age) and I can’t imainge letting any sicko EVER lay a finger on her….I hope this MONSTER receives that good ole’ fashioned prison/jailhouse justice from the get-go!! RIP sweet little angel! I just pray to God that she didn’t suffer too long.

I, like many people who regularly visit, end up reading most stories here, shaking our heads, and trying to shake the images these horrors leave in our heads. This one made me sob so hard that my 4 yr old daughter comforted me with a hug. There’s a song called ‘I Think About You’ and that is what I did. Saw my babies in this baby and broke down at the thought. Poor angel, I am so sorry people like this birth vessel exist.

The woman with the father was his sister. Here is another article. They said Shaniya was a precious little angel full of love and joy. He must have been a good and loving father. My heart aches for him.

I’m sitting here crying and sobbing. I come here all the time and read these stories. This story really hits me hard mostly because of the stills of her at the hotel room and that her OWN mother was the cause of this. I just cannot fathom why.

There is nothing to say. My heart breaks for this child. Makes me think of playing hide and seek with my 4 y/o niece yesterday. The plan was scripted for me. I would not watch her hide in the leaves and I would look everywhere for “the little girl who hides in the leaves but you can’t look in the leaves for the little girl.” I think about playing with my niece and sitting on the ground while we pulled all of the seeds out of these pea pod like things that fell off the tree and talked about how big trees grow from little seeds. I see how beautiful and sweet and innocent and awesome she is. And, I know that Shaniya was too. So, I bite my tongue and I blink rapidly so I don’t break down in tears, because I don’t think I could explain something like this to my young sons who think the world is full of puppies who chase balls, basketball with mom and dad, excitement at crossing the monkey bars all by themselves for the first time, etc. I can’t read any more tonight. It’s too much.

I cant believe that someone let alone two people would do something like this to such a beautiful child. i feel so bad for the dad, im sure his intentions were to do right by letting that bitch raise her, i connot imagine what the dad is goin thru , even worse what that precious angel went thru. oh lord i pray that it ended fast. i know that sounds horrible but i’m a mother of 4 two boys 2 girls and i wish someone would do something to them. i would kill them flat out bottom line. no mistake about it i wqould seriously losse it…sadly i believe the justice for this lil girl will happen behind the walls of the prison that these two pieces of shit will go to…rape isnt tollerated in society, let alone prison, and its on a child and murder too, im sure we owont be hearing the last of this, even after they have been sentenced. although what upsets me more is they probably wont go in general population cause that would cause a threat to them, boo f****ing hoo..i hope a gaurd sometime forgets to lock acell ortaccidentally leaves them in the wrong pod..there is a special place in the hotest parts of hell for those two and i hope they get there fast..YOU ARE AT REST NOw LITTLE ONE, NO MORE PAIn, no more being scares. god bless u sweetie.

Little Girl…I did not know Shaniya but I feel compelled to write to say this to her….I’m sorry your life was stolen from you…Im sorry this world is filled with bad people…Please know there are still good people here and if we could’ve protected you, if we had known…we would’ve saved you from the monsters…..May God’s Angels encamp around your precious soul for all of eternity!
