Six inches of trash
Couple Accused Of Abuse, Neglect Of Four Kids:
That charming couple is 32-year-old Anita Rivera and her 30-year-old boyfriend William Kindrick of Sacramento, California. They were arrested on child neglect charges after police found four kids in the home where the floor was covered in six inches of garbage and dog feces.
Police were tipped off when bad boyfriend Kindrick was witnessed beating one of this kids in the front yard.
In my single days I had some pretty unkempt apartments. However I don’t see how anyone can walk around in their own home with half a foot of trash and dog crap covering the floor. I also love how these people have dogs when it sounds like they can’t even take care of themselves.
Thanks to Chantel for the tip.

“Dogs” could be interchangeable with “children” in that statement.

Maybe the birth mother was on strike? I’ve been trying that lately. I’m on strike. I’m not picking up another dirty sock, I’m not cleaning the toilet, I’m not vacuuming… nothing, until the male species living in the house step up to the plate and help. Ok, so I did break down and do the dishes, laundry, and take out the garbage. But, the house is still pretty messy because no one but me seems to be capable of cleaning anything. However, in the case listed above… 6″ of garbage + dog poop = lifestyle, not temporary strike.
BTW, the strike isn’t working. The menfolk don’t care about wallowing around in dirt. *sigh*

Why don’t the dogs in these cases ever just rise up and EAT the idiots? I’m sure they’re not getting fed … unless they’re eating the garbage and crap off the floor.

My house may not be pristinely clean, but I walk on floor, not trash. And my husband does a lot of the cooking and cleaning (except in our room, which drives me nuts). And even when I was younger and had the floor covered in a layer of stuff, it was only my toys, clothes, books and some other paper, not really anything that would be considered trash (no food trach, hygeine product garbage or feces of any kind, just clutter, not garbage heap). I just cannot understand walking around on a layer of trash and other crap (yuck). Course, if he was beating the kid in the yard, the whole situation is probably how they were raised, and they’re just too stupid to change, and don’t deserve the kids.

At least the kids are out of there and not getting beaten and living in filth. But, those 2 look taller than six inches to me…

I wouldn’t be surprised.

Who lives like that? If I walk thru the door and there’s an unidentifable odor, we stop, drop and locate! My children have accused me of having a ‘k-9′ nose….meaning I can sniff out ANYTHING! I understand that life gets a little overwhelming but dang these people are just NASTY!
Wonder if he beat the kid outside because there wasn’t enough room to swing his weapon of choice in that filthy house…..hmmmm

Hey, Nikki…can you come visit my house once a week or so? My boy likes to hide food and drinks behind furniture, and sometimes it gets pretty rancid. If you could come over and find it before it got that bad – that would be GREAT!!!

My little guy is fond of putting his milk cups in various places, or leaving them in the car, and we find them several days to a week later (yeah, no fun >.<).
