Update on Zelek McCart Starvation case

Tessa Zelek, and her husband James Alvin McCart, 23, were arrested for the starvation of their twin sons. Tessa was sentenced to 70 years back in October, but the sperm donor, James, has managed to get a plea deal that resulted in a fifteen year sentence with twelve to be served. What a travesty of justice!
Two boys will have permanent brain damage, and other health worries, but one of the people who caused these problems for them could be walking the streets again in leas than 15 years. Absolutely disgusting!

Dad probably rolled on the mom and therefore got a reduced sentence. Isn’t that how plea bargains work?
