I love Texas. To paraphrase a comedian I once heard (whose name escapes me now) – ‘While every other state in the union is trying to abolish the death penalty – Texas has installed an express lane’, and from what I have seen lately, their express lane is used frequently. None of that 20-30 years on death row, filing appeal after appeal…..they go from conviction to sentencing, to administration of the sentence, in much less time than most other states. Let’s hope that holds true with Miller as well.
I originally posted about this story here. Demontrell Miller was convicted in the beating death of his girlfriend’s 2-year old son, and has now been sentenced to death by lethal injection. I think that is much too good a death for him, considering the pain he put little Kelynn through while he was murdering the child…… but since the government has to follow guidelines, and prevent ‘cruel and unusual punishment’ (who was looking out for little Kelynn’s rights though, I ask you?), I guess this method of extermination is better than letting him live to kill other children.
I am not going to go into detail about the comments made by the DA or the defense attorney, because you all can go to the link and read them for yourself. I would like to point out though, that the DA made some comments about Miller’s appearance, because (I guess) the defense attorney was trying to say that he coould not be capable of such a heinous crime, because he looked so ‘normal’. The DA said, “And, I don’t care if he’s mannerable or not. That’s what makes him a monster. That’s what makes him sinister. He’s a baby killer.” I have to agree with her. If all baby killers looked like monsters, how much easier it would be to keep them away from our precious children! The fact that they look so ‘normal’ and have such good ‘manners’ is what makes them so freakin’ dangerous! We can’t see through the mask they wear, until they have taken one of our most precious people from us. Our babies.
The father also wrote a victim impact statement, in which he called Miller a coward. Which is exactly what he IS, in my opinion. A coward. And a killer.
I’m sure that the defenders he had cropping up on the original story will make an appearance here on this story as well, to tell us all how he was wrongly convicted. And I’m equally as certain that our regular readers will put them in their place with admirable dispatch.

I was going to say that this miserable beast got exactly what he deserved, but we all know it’s not even close. He, as well as his enabling asshole friends/family, need to know the pain and terror that little boy felt. I hope that they someday do.

I live in Tyler, and while it’s a small town some crazy things happen here. He got what he deserved. and the comedian was ron white.

Demon will have his place in Hell – Just like I predicted on the previous thread. I hear that even the Devil hates baby killers. I hope Demon enojoys the last days of his life behind bars. I think he should be handed over to Thunderdick to snuggle with before they off his sorry ass.

So a 2 year old is what, about 35 lbs. and this guy is what, about 180? IMAGINE that pain, when you are not only receiving a severe beating, BUT, it’s coming from someone who is about 6-7 times your size? Terrifying. AGAIN, I SAY WHEN YOUR NIGHTMARES ARE BETTER THAN YOU’RE REALITY, IT’S PRETTY DAMN BAD. Of course, this guy WAS appropriately named, DEMONtrell.
And appearance? I thought we learned that one with Ted Bundy………….

My little guy is almost three, and he’s a little over 30 pounds, so I guess size would depend on how far into 2 he was, how well fed (my little guy eats pretty healthy, and all the males in the family were tall, slender kids), and the neightbor’s grandson that just turned 2 is heavier than my son (We escorted the teenage duaghters and the 3 young grandsons on Halloweeen night and the just turned two year old let my husband pick him up and carry him, and my husband said he was heavier than our son, and it was a lot of fun, 4 little boys, ranging in age from just turned 2 to just turned 5, three were brothers and out little guy looked like he could be a brother as well, they were cute).

I am proud to be a Texan, but in my opinion, the ‘express lane’ to lethal injection just isn’t ‘express’ enough for demons like this.

I am not a parent but I am human and the very thought of a child suffering is enough to make me ill, absolutely dizzy with disgust and heartache. What I wouldn’t give for ten minutes alone with this sicko. He’s a monster, that’s clear, but I swear on all that is holy he would never expect what torment he would suffer at the hands of someone who is so angered by this horror. I am not a violent person but when it comes to the innocent ones being mistreated I say “eye for an eye”. As for the lawyers and pyschiatrits who defend people like this??? I think if they believe psychos like this should be on our streets they should allow him to live in THEIR house for a year without supervision around THEIR families before they are released to the public. Let’s see how many nuts are kept off the street when the lawyers and doctors have to ‘prove’ they aren’t a danger. If nobody defends them they get to rot in prison…on that note, let’s make them work for their dinner there too.
