5 times digust turns to 6; a case update
This is the story of Burrell E. Mohler Sr. – his four sons – and his brother
The Mohler’s are charged with now face nearly 30 felony counts relating to sex crimes against children, and more charges are anticipated. Three of the men were lay ministers in the Community of Christ church.
This all started with the 26 year old granddaughter of Mohler Sr told authorities she was struggling with suppressed memories of abuse by her grandfather and uncles. The abuse was absurd … elaborate weddings to her uncles, rape, kidnapping… murder!
Since the arrest, five other children/grandchildren have come forward corroborating the stories and elaborating on more horrific events. They say they were told to write down the bad things and put the papers in jars and bury them and the memories would go away. During excavation of the land it is known that jars or pieces of jars were uncovered.
Calls have been pouring into a hot line established including people who are not related to the family who claim to have been abused, raped, held captive. One called alleges she was repeatedly raped and gave birth two babies on two occasions. She said the first baby was buried in the basement floor in a box.
Investigators used a radar device to probe beneath the farmhouse and found an “anomaly” buried a foot below the surface, an item in the shape of a box approximately 20 inches by 30 inches in size, according to court documents.
One call to the police hot line is a woman claiming she was held captive in the Mohler’s basement for two years.
Yet another case of something that went on for years and years and was not discovered.

Crap…. This one gets more and more strange.

Exactly April — I say we torture them and let apes rape them!

Rabid apes….

Apes have tiny penises. Go for a dolphin or a sperm whale (6′4″ love muscles on those things).

They found incest porn mags at Grandpa pervs house. yuck.

This is some freaky “Hills Have Eyes” shit.

Get the f#$% out of here. This sounds like Satanic Ritual Abuse hokum but it’s REAL. Oy! Repressed memories are bogus, but these people clearly were some sort of rape cult. I’m confused..

There’s a story I read today about 3 brothers suing boy scouts and church(?) because their mom met their step dad through them (or something) and he molested them. Google William E. Knox.
I think it’s extremely sad that so many people keep it secret and never say anything, their whole lives. Some people wonder why people let it out in the open so long after the fact. They just don’t get it.

Rob Taylor, I agree with you on the Satanic ritual level, but repressed memories are far to real. I personally know, let’s just say that.
This sounds like Satanism hiding in the cloak of Christ. As a Christian, I find this nauseating on so many levels.
Hell of a way to grow up, literally.

Lori, on the heels of what I commented to Rob, again, these were little children that didn’t tell on the almighty, powerful adult Church members. I’m thinking they were afraid as it gets. Adults, too can be highly intimidated by Satanic cults, they are know to seek out ex-members and “silence” them forever. It’s just not as easy as saying that they are “keeping secrets.”

By the way, there is a neverending corroboration on this story, as the story says, maybe reread it. Now, who doesn’t get it?

kathy I was saying that some people (in comments on another page) don’t believe the story because the victims dont say anything til much later. I DO understand why. The people who don’t believe others because they ‘wait so long’ dont understand it. They can’t put themselves in the victims place to even care to understand. I think the victims fear, (or shame or embarrassment) that keeps them silent is sad.

Ya know, the fear that “I’ll kill you if you tell” is very scary when you’re a child. The threats to kill your mom and dad if you tell seem very real. I think it’s highly likely that a LOT of children say nothing until they’ve grown up and gotten away from the danger. I didn’t tell my parents about the babysitter who threatened to kill me and cut me in pieces and either sink me to the bottom of the pond or bury me all over the woods until I was 17. That’s about 10 years after the threats occurred.
As a believer in Christ, the fact that they claimed to be followers disgusts me. Too many sickos hide behind a false faith simply to prey on children. I hope they get the max sentences. Personally, I think this is a case where rapid lead projectiles through the cranium = justice.

Lori, Thanks for the clarification.
Kathy, Say it sister!

Kathy, got to admit, I feel the same way…
When I was growing up there were ‘men of God’ where into some nasty crap with kids. One of them was an ordained Lutheran pastor that was in charge of the youth ministry and teaching ninth grade and was charged with sexual abuse of his granddaughter. The eighth grade teacher/principal was charged with sexual abuse when his previous victim came forward and reported him to the police for he saw the eighth grade teacher/principal grooming another student…
But the bullet in the cranium? Too nice, I’ll admit, compared to the damage done to the kids…unfortunately torture is considered too cruel, but it doesn’t help in instances like this, that I’d think things like the Pear of Anguish or Judas’ Cradle would be more appropriate.
Yeah, I know how eye for eye leaves everyone blind – but unfortunately these days these pervs get away pretty lightly than the damage they did to their victims.

Pear of Anguish, most fitting punishment ever!!
November 19th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
Wow, that thing gives me the shudders, indeed a very fitting device indeed. I love how it said they would decide whether to tear the skin or open it all the way up and mutilate the torturee.

What about the breast ripper, my poor girls tried to flee in terror from that one (I’m browsing through that website, it’s one of the things about history that fascinates me).

“Mohler children may have been used for child porn”
November 19th, 2009 at 2:16 pm
So the mother knew what was going on and all she did was to tell the preacher? That means that the preacher knew too, and he also did nothing. One of the articles on this said that three of the uncles were lay preachers – so was one of them the ‘head preacher’ that the mother told? The mother needs to be jailed, at the very least. The preacher too. Both of them disgust me. I don’t care if the sorry slag IS cooperating with authorities now – she should have had these pervs arrested the FIRST time they touched one of the kids.
This whole situation makes me sick at my stomach. I get sicker with each new detail that emerges. I think the memories in a glass jar is a good idea though – only they employed it the wrong way. They should have put the abusive bastards in a glass jar and buried them in the yard – in multiple places.

I dont even understand why something wasnt done about grandpaperv when it came to light that he was molesting his step son. The bio dad had to get full custody and get him away from the perv. Grandpapervs first wife told the bio dad! WHY did it continue on with other children AFTER that?
November 19th, 2009 at 2:47 pm
oops, it was burrell JR’s step son. I’ve been reading so many articles on this and there’s so many pervs, I get stories mixed up. I thought there was an article that said the bio dad got custody. I dont know if that’s right, now. :/
November 19th, 2009 at 6:55 pm
This is crazy. When I first read this I was like this is total made-up bullshit. We’ll wait and see if they dig up anything in the yard. Then they did. Fucked up.
November 19th, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Oops, the step son was later than the other abuse. Had to correct myself.
If you can stomach it, in this link, on the left of the page there are PDFs detailing the reports of what went on. It doesn’t seem like the victims are making any of it up, to me.

Apparently, 3 of the children, all under the age of 10, were forced to kidnap a man, under the threat they would be killed if not cooperative, and then took the man back to house, kill him, etc. I’m still of the thinking Satanic Rituals. All the telltale signs.

The PDF I mentioned tells about the beastiality… (with horses) YUCK.
November 19th, 2009 at 8:57 pm
And now it’s gone from 6 to 7…Dogs? sounds like there isn’t anything these BEASTS called humans would’nt do……poor dogs
November 20th, 2009 at 1:17 am
If it is proven that they commited these crimes, I have a suggestion. A rabid dog is put down, but I think that would be too humane for those sacks of shit! Throw them in general population…oh wait! We can’t do that cause they might get hurt. Even the people that the justice system deems not fit for society won’t associate with these FREAKS! They delivered years and years of torment and torture to all of those little kids….they deserve the same! It shouldn’t be cut short.
November 28th, 2009 at 3:27 pm
OK, I haven’t read this post or the comments (holy crap, 28???) yet because just the thought of this horrifies me. But I did come across this article from the news feed on my site. Apparently the family of these disgusting wastes of oxygen are upset about them being arrested.
November 28th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
This sounds like the plot of a B horror movie. These poor children must have lived in hell.
