Another father takes his son’s life

We don’t know what set Dr. Stephen Wolf off, but we do know he has some history of mental illness.
The 51 year-old father was found on top of his dead 9 year-old son “Tommy”. He told authorities: “He’s got the devil in him and you know it” … when he was taken into custody.
the boy’s mother/wife of Wolf suffered defensive wounds, but not life threatening. She made at least two calls to 911, and ran to a neighbors house and pounded on the door. The neighbor also called 911.
The attack looks to have started in the boy’s bedroom and continued into other parts of the home.

With that hippocratic oath thing and a all.. sounds like Doc had the Devil in HIM actually.

Dang, Cat! You got frickin’ BUSY today, didn’t you? I had an almost full day at the kids’ schools for Thanksgiving festivities…..so I have done little more than post random comments.
Looks like the sperm donor here has a bleeding head wound. Good. I hope the boy is the one who gave it to him. The only way that poor child had the devil in him would be if the animal that killed him, raped him first. But I’m sure he’ll find out soon enough what the ‘hot seat’ feels like. He needs to get the DP.

Suicide watch? I never understand that. Why have a suicide watch in a jail, especially with a murder. Hell, I say throw a rope or rusty hacksaw into the cell with him and let him have his way with them.

I hate doctors as much as anybody but I think it’s important to keep in mind that this p.o.s. was on psychiatric medication, the known side effects of which include completely irrational and out-of-character acts of extreme violence. He’s not the only one on this site who is known to have been on psych meds when they committed horrific acts of cruelty to their children and other loved ones. Psychiatry and psychopharmacology share the blame in these instances.
