Meth Mom here couldn’t adequately care for her 9 month-old child. She felt the child would get better care from her Meth dealer…Sound judgement?!?
It is reported that a “friend” of the dealer describes the 9 month old as malnourished and without basic needs when the 23 year old mother brought her to the dealer. Police say the mother admitted to being a meth user but gave the baby to a drug dealer to protect her. She didn’t feel like the baby was safe with her on the streets because was living on the streets and cars and homeless at the time.
She apparently gave the dealer a note stating she relinquished custody to her and also handed over her medicare card.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine if the baby girl was used as part of a drug deal.
Police are also looking to charges against the baby’s mother. She does have another child who is living with relatives out of state.
The drug dealer also has three other children. They are being cared for by family friends.

If Sr. had not executed Jr. and this story hit the news everyone would be attacking the family for not know and not doing anything. As for help, I’ve read and seen too much – I don’t believe in rehabilitation for pedophiles. So where does that leave us? How many people have said; “I’d kill any !@#$!#$@$# who touched MY child” ?? Well….here we are. My answer to the question is yes.
Not to beat a dead horse, but this was her response to “Does the punishment fit the crime?”. That’s when I took the comment she made here to be directed at me. Oh well, there was bound to be ONE person in the whole world that I don’t like.

She was doing what she thought was best in a bad situation. I don’t think you can judge without being in that lifestyle. I don’t see anything wrong with what she did. I mean, sure the dealer could have POTENTIALLY mistreated the kid but who’s to know?

Kyle…you really should think before you post. Whether the kid is mistreated or not, living with a drug dealer is dangerous. You don’t just ‘give’ your kids to the first person who walks by. There are such things as safe haven laws, and legal adoption for parents who don’t want their kids. And the people who get THOSE kids are usually put through a rigorous screening process. You sound like you’re high.

Well firstly, its implied she knew the dealer. (Lest omit the fact this is all second or third-hand information we’re arguing about.) I’m not familiar with safe haven laws and as far as legal adoption.. you have to know someone decent to give the kid to, right? Short of dumping them at a police station and making them a social case what else are you going to do? I think this woman did the responsible thing by placing the child with someone she trusted rather than drag them around the street getting high and doing fuck knows what. If nothing else, having a consistent place to sleep is in some sense, stability.
P.S. Not high, but I am sleepy. I will still stand by my statements.
