Alaskan redneck flamethrower burns 5-year-old boy
Child burned in bizarre ‘redneck flamethrower’ incident:
29-year-old Jonathon Michael Miller was watching his girlfriend’s 5-year-old son while she was ‘away’. Miller and his cohort, 32-year-old Stephen Ray Dilley II, thought it would be funny if they scared the boy with an aerosol can and a Bic lighter. They allegedly called the boy out on to the porch and when the boy got to the door they unleashed a fireball from the spray can. The boy’s head caught on fire burning the left side of his face, nose, eyelid and ear.
That happened on a Friday. The boy didn’t receive medical treatment until the following Monday when we went to school.

According to a troopers’ affidavit filed in court, Miller told investigators he’s been trying to toughen the boy up and the best way to do it is to “scare the s–t out of them when they don’t see it coming.”
Asked why the child had not gotten treatment, Miller told investigators, “Why go make bills for yourself over little things,” according to the affidavit.
It gets better. The mother has another child with Dilley and has a restraining order against him yet he was living in a ‘motor home’ on the property.
The mother came home Sunday night and when learning about the boy’s injuries she tried overdosing on some psych meds. So she didn’t seek treatment for the boy either it seems. No word on where she was ‘away’ at either.

Same here, some mom. Not ‘let’s take this child to the doctor’, no it’s ‘maybe they won’t notice at school on Monday that half his face is burned’. And then she tries to take the selfish way out by trying to make it all about her by trying to OD. She should not have had the sperm donor on the property, much less watching the kids.
I’d like to toughen that douchebag’s ass up by hitting him in the face with a flamethrower, see how tough it makes him, it’s one thing to startle the kid, although that’s not cool either, but causing physical harm out of nowhere, and then not wanting to “make a bill out of a little thing”, well, I’d like to burn half his face and see how little a thing he thinks it is, burns freaking hurt (until you get to third degree where they cause nerve damage).

That poor little guy. My son is five and if he has a scratch we just about take him to doctor. I hope the penis AND the incubator are both sentenced for a long time.

I used a hair spray blowtorch on a spider in my house once (a really freakin’ BIG one), but on a child???? These idiots need to have their breathing privileges revoked.

I have come to learn that the innocent child is just sadly always caught in the middle of the adult ignorance/stupidity/cruelty etc. If these idiots just beat each other up, would it be as big of a deal? No, it’s the fact that they feel they need to include the innocent child in their own childish acts. How human adults can be SO bad is beyond me, but it IS reality. All it proves is that we are all fragile to a certain point and if we were all raised the right way then the majority of us would be good. But, that will never be and we will always see and hear stories like this. Sadly this is life and i don’t think it will ever change/
