She Kills and Kills Again
Dominique Lagail Lee, 18, has (allegedly) killed her second baby in 2 years. That’s right – she killed one, and it was not properly investigated, and then she killed another one two years later. The first baby died at 45 days old, and the second, Kai’den Terry, was seven weeks old when she grabbed him by the ankles, snatched him off a bed, and slammed him head first into the floor.
Since her report of the death of Kai’den was so similar to her story of her first baby’s death in 2007, the police looked a little closer this time, and have since re-opened the investigation into the death of her first baby as well.
Why would she do that to a 7 week old baby, you ask? Well – it was because she was mad ad the bio dad. She said that she had been having a heated disagreement, via text messages, with the father of her child, and so she threw him to the floor. I guess the loser of that argument was the baby. It seems Lee was already under arrest, and in jail, for her role as the getaway driver in an armed robbery, when she confessed to the murder of her son. As far as I can tell, no charges have been filed concerning little Kai’den’s death yet. Maybe that’s why she looks so happy in her mugshot. Sickening.

Being the first person to comment on wanting to punch her in the face…I feel I must defend my statement. The look she is giving in the photo is a definite FU to the system and to her poor dead babies! I have never resorted to violence in my whole entire life, but that look drove me over the edge. I stand firm on what I said, I did and still would want to punch her in the face.

Yeah, the violent thing is probably because we want to take an active role and not just sit there wrionging our hands and saying “Oh Dear, whatever shall we do?” (my little boy says ‘oh dear’ whenever something is kind of going wrong, it’s so cute, he’s just turned three).

Sorry about my interpretation of DNTME but you’ve got to admit, it does sound alot like “Done Time”.
I think you started out with a very strong statement in light of what Dominque did, which was to say WE are violent. And then proceeded to make a knowledgable prison statement. That prefaced the entire post. You sound articulate, and yes, you have the right to your opinion.
As I said in my last post, I am vehemently against abortion, particularly partial-birth abortion, which is abhorrent. No, you aren’t required to use “lol”s, etc., or smiley faces to be taken seriously. Just perhaps don’t start by stating we are violent, because, in reality, after just reading this story and seeing that woman’s smiling face, which is highly provocational,may have set a few of us “off”. As far as I am concerned, your opinions are welcome.

Kathy, I’m confused. How would you presume to know what DNTME means? Are you, somehow, under the impression I’ve been in prison? One can find out many things about prisons without ever having been an inmate. The internet is a wonderful thing, full of much information on just about everything.

DNTME, I guess your name says it all. I for one, also do not believe in abortion, but this “mother”, she choose to HAVE both of the babies, then let them live briefly, and then made TWO violent choices seemingly as if to say, “haha, I did it again”, with a smile as if she just got off of a high. And WE are really violent. Hmmmm, slamming a baby’s head is onto the floor is about as violent as it gets, I when I worked with kids 10 years ago, a “mom” did that with her daughter, I turned her into CPS, and pursued it till she never got custody again. Thank God that child lived. These ones didn’t, yeah, our WORDS are violent, Dominique IS violence, damn, you must be prison-blinded…baby killers do that to people, maybe you didn’ DOENOUGHTIME, you still don’t get it….how are those prison tats?

DNTME, I guess I’m not sure what women in prison would go for. I just picture male inmates to take a woman any wy they can get one. Thanks for the education. I now know that female inmates are just as nasty as the men.

i was reading the thread and now i am confused. didn’t it say she hasnt been arrested for any charges related to the children but on a totally different charge and yet in this reply you are stating that she kileed her kids and is smiling in her mug shot. atleast come with your facts before you knock someone down, this pic is not from her arrest of killing them babies.

yeah, the article is a little confusing. It does say that she was arrested for charges not connected to the children, but to an assisted armed robbery on Dec. 6th…leads you to believe that is when she was actually arressted. What I find interesting is that the death of her 2nd child happend on Sept27th. So, it took the police 2 months to arrest her on ANOTHER charge? They said the autopsy revealed two subdural hemmoraghes & I know an autopsy, especially if they are suspicious, doesn’t take that long. Who knows, maybe it was paperwork? huh.

My post doesn’t say she was arrested for killing her kids. I said she was ACCUSED of killing her kids. I also said she was smiling in her mugshot, which is a fact. I did not say this was the mugshot from her arrest from killing her kids. Get your facts straight before you come on here and try to knock me down.

DNTime…what you propose is a very scarey thing. it sounds like a bad futuristic movie. i agree, it’s only going to get worse, but let’s all hope that it doesn’t become LEGAL. when you look at her myspace you really have to wonder….she says on one of the babies’ pics “i love them to death” or something like that. does she love them only as long as the relationship with the father is going well? should that begin to crumble…or a heated argument ensue….the baby is a gonner? thank God she’s finally been realized and hopefully enogh punishment will will dealt that she won’t have a third chance.

For people who advocate such violence you sure do have thin skins. The comments are as much a part of the blog as the article. Once it’s out there, it becomes fair game about which others can comment. I didn’t really think anyone would take opening statement seriously in any event. The problem with not reading the comments is redundancy. What’s the point of making a point if it has already been made? One has to read them to find that out. Also they often provide information that can be used when making your point about the article. Besides, all I was doing was sharing my opinion, just like you are saying you do. I too hold strong opinions. That goes for my opinion of the article as well as what the posters of the comments have to say.

Wow! You folks are really violent. And all (or mostly) females too. So much for the myth of sugar and spice and everything nice. And, April, what makes you think those lips won’t be popular in a women’s prison as well? LURs abound (Lesbian Until Release).
As to her crime? Heinous? You bet. But not all that unusual in a society which regards the unborn as disposable. The way things are currently, I expect this sort of crime to be treated no worse than animal cruelty in future years. Think that won’t happen? Just sit back and look at all the other things you thought would never happen yet have. We even now have post birth “abortions” wherein they just leave the baby who was supposed to be aborted, yet survived the procedure, to die of exposure alone in a closed room. Why? It’s the law. They can’t actually kill them, but letting them die of “natural causes” is ok with the law. Insane. I have to wonder. If, tomorrow, it was announced that mothers could kill their baby, less than a month old, with no punishment, how many of them would not wake up the following day?

Well, there is that whole spice thing, and spice do include things like chili powder and cinnamon. and yes, many women get violent at the thought of a mother killing her child, it’s hardwired into most of us.
I do have to agree with sarah, if you don’t like how we say what we have to say, then limit yourself to reading the stories as is, this is an opnion site, and most of us hold very strong opinions.
