Iowa mom gets life for murdering son; barred from contacting surviving son:
I originally posted about Michelle Kehoe here. She is the woman who survived an ‘accident’ with her two kids after her van flew into a river.
Apparently that may not have been the proper results she wanted because in November of last year she slit the throats of her two kids ages 2 and 7 left them in the van to die in a parking lot. She told police that a stranger took the kids. The 7-year-old survived but the 2-year-old did not.
This past week she was sentenced to life behind bars for the murder of her 2-year-old son and she’s been ordered not to have any contact with her surviving son.

The sad part… I bet the child wants to see his mom. He will be quick to forgive her because she is his mommy. I wonder what’s best for him??? I honestly don’t know.

What in the blue blazes is wrong with her HUSBAND? He continued to have contact with her throughout the trial? He OBJECTED to the judge barring her from contact with the surviving son? This bitch killed one of his children and attempted to kill the other. Why is he standing by her? He should have been on the witness stand testifying AGAINST her. And the judge should order the surviving son taken away from the father because his judgment is totally screwed up if he wants to have anything at all to do with this murdering bitch.

It’s the VAN! The van was first involved in the attempted drownings, and again in the subsequent assault (It’s like Christine, but for KIDS!) The mother is innocent!

People are sick, and i really think that these parents who harm or kill there children should never be aloud to produce again. I have 4 grandchildren, and let me tell you, if they even get a scratch, I just want to cry.

Who does something like this?! I’m so sick of people doing wrong by their kids and then giving these BS Excuses. I’ll just never understand it. And PPD?? The baby was 2… She should’ve realized a long time ago something was wrong and gotten help. That poor baby, and that poor surviving child, imagine how he’s going to feel for the rest of his life.

Supposedly “postpartum psychosis”. I still don’t understand it, though. If I were having thoughts of hurting my child, I’d sooner kill myself than act on them.

Seems to be kind of late in the game for it to be true Post partum psychosis, and I would not believe her claims of it at this point. Now if she had a newborn at the same time as the 2 year old and the 7 year old, I might find that defense a little more believable. Since PPD and PP Psychosis are brought on by the hormone changes after delivery, I seriously doubt the same hormonal swings were occuring two years after the little one was born.
More likely somtehing happened in her life and she decided for whatever reason that she didn’t want the kids anymore (or couldn’t handle them) and she took the stupid solution instead of finding someone else to take care of the babies (maybe a I don’t want no one else to have them).
