Bad daughter, bad mother …. JUST PLAIN BAD
Well now – it seems 
59 year old Jeanne Sevigny thought her Mom was a drag so she killed her … and then she had her son bury Grandma…
Her 30-year-old son, Greg Sevigny, was charged with unlawfully disposing of a body.
Jeanne Sevigny filed a missing persons report for her mom, Mary Wilcox, in November 2006. Authorities say she told cops her mother, a 78-year-old Alzheimer’s disease sufferer, had run off after overhearing talk of being sent to a nursing home.
Jeanne Sevigny’s lawyer, John St. Francis, claims the elderly grandmother was suicidal and that her daughter came home to find her with the gun.
Worried Wilcox was attempting to kill herself, mother and daughter wrestled for the gun, and, the lawyer claims, it went off during the struggle.
Seeing her mother dead, St. Francis claims, the daughter panicked and disposed of the corpse.
“The poor decision-making afterwards is why we’re here,” he said. “Had she taken different steps, I don’t think we’d be here now. But it’s certainly not a homicide. It’s an accident.”
Jeanne Sevigny told this story to cops during an interview Wednesday and said she has no idea whether she or her mother pulled the trigger.
Authorities aren’t buying it.
“The action of burning a body in a backyard, putting the remains in a suitcase and burying that suitcase on the grounds of an elementary school are inconsistent with an accident,” one prosecutor, T.J. Donovan, said.
Mary Wilcox was killed, he says, because she was an “annoyance. A drag. An elderly woman with Alzheimer’s.”
Two weeks ago, an ex-girlfriend of Greg Sevigny went to cops and said he had told her about his role in his grandmother’s disappearance, a detective claimed in an affidavit
That gave cops the break in the case they needed to investigate further.
The ex-girlfriend claimed she never reported Greg Sevigny to the cops because he had threatened to kill her. She has since obtained a protective order against him.
Greg Sevigny was released into the custody of his father, Michael Sevigny, after entering a not-guilty plea.
Jeanne Sevigny pleaded not guilty. She is being held without bail.

That’s the difference between you, Jenn a normal caring person and these monsters. I agreed with the authorities, if it’s an accident you call police you don’t go bury a body, your own mother no less. Poor woman, and evil daughter and grandson. Well, hopefully she’s in a better place and they can rot in jail.

Just plain evil. We think my husband’s grandparents are both in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, but no matter how annoying they have been in the past, I would never ever consider doing this to them. You can pretty much trace when they really started to have symptoms, they remember my oldest boy, but not his girl cousin born five months later. My boy just turned three.
Of course this could be a case of not enough family around to help with mom, because in our case, both my husband’s aunt and uncle (who live in town) stop by to make sure they’re okay, and a grandson is living in the trailer on their property, and my father in law goes by to check on them as well, and do maintenance tasks grandpa can’t do very well anymore. So they have a safety net without making them feel smothered.
