Baby dumping in Phoenix
Woman accused of dumping baby in trash bin charged with murder:
24-year-old Brittany Williams of Phoenix, Arizona was recently indicted for the January 11th death of her newborn.
Williams allegedly hid the pregnancy from all she knew and after giving birth she threw the baby in the neighbor’s trash can two doors down from her house.
She has been indicted on charges of second degree murder and child abuse.
Again Arizona does have safe haven laws where babies up to 3 days old can be dropped off at hospitals, churches and fire stations. Not trash cans.
And also again she’s being held in Maricopa County Jail. With the reputation that jail has you would think people wouldn’t commit crimes like this there.
This just proves you can’t cure stupid.

Too bad that tubal ligation can’t be a part of whatever sentence the court gives her. In my opinion, if one cannot be responsible enough to use birth control or responsible enough to take a baby to a safe haven (or even leave it outside someone’s door and knock and run away, for God’s sake), one forfeits the right to reproduce.

The look on her face shows that her sick actions are making her crazy. Who could dump their newborn in the neighbors trashcan?

What the heck is wrong with people? I lost my little girl to SIDS when she was 2 months old, and tomorow would have been her first birthday. Although I am young, I could never imagine harming my baby in anyway. It pisses me off that these scumbags are even able to have children while women like myself would do anything to have a child. I hope this bitch gets the needle.

(((((Ava))))) I’m so sorry to hear about your little one.
And I agree with you… a newborn baby could have been adopted in a heartbeat! Why go through the entire pregnancy to throw your baby away?
I hope you’ll have another baby soon. I’ve got the feeling that you’d be a wonderful mom.

Having just gotten myself tied, I can say that would be a mere taste of the pain they deserve.

how sad! My friends had a baby that very day. I just saw him for the first time the other day. so small and helpless. How could you do that to ANY innocent baby, especially your own?

Even her hair looks stupid.

Ah come on… give her a break! She was overwhelmed and emotionally unstable (insanity) so she can’t really be blamed for her actions. If she’d taken the baby to a safe haven someone probably would have recognized her and all those months of disguising/hiding the pregnancy would have been blown. It was more than her fragile mind could handle. Cut her a break.
Ok, now that the bleeding heart BS is over… My true opinion is that her actions are horrendous and inexcusable. There is NO reason to dump a baby. ESPECIALLY today where you can go into any approved facility and hand it over, no questions asked, walk away and continue living your life as though no child was ever born of your womb. And, another thing… WHAT IF the baby’s father would have liked to keep his child and raise it? Lock her up.
