Mom Arrested For Leaving Kids Home Alone:
Sarah Petty of Brevard County, Florida has a fitting name.
She was arrested for leaving her kids home alone for 14 hours. Her 18-month-old went out for a stroll and luckily was unharmed. The 3 year-old stayed home.
So where was mom? Police say she was at another house in the neighborhood after drinking the night before and according to police she was still drunk at noon when police talked to her.
Petty claims she thought the children were with their grandmother who lives next door.
Yeah, like the police have never heard that one before.
Again, your children are more important than getting your drink on. If they’re not then you don’t deserve to have them.

I am anxious just running the garbage cans down to the curb at night when my 3 year old is ASLEEP in bed and my husband is at work. And that takes all of 90 seconds. I can’t imagine leaving your kids for 14 hours…not worried about pottying/diaper changes, feeding them lunch, making sure they don’t somehow stick their fingers in the sockets…
I just hate these breeders….I HATE THEM.

Totally. So much more could have happened, what could have happened when the 18 mo. old “took a stroll” as Trench put it? Unthinkable stuff…

When I was 3 my mother left my alone for a minute to run in to the garage to do laundry. I burned down a wall in the house. She was gone for 5 minutes. Can you imagine what I could have done in 14 hours??? This mother should kiss her own ass and thank God that her children are still alive.

I like a frozen strawberry margarita now and then. But, not if I’m the only one home caring for the kids. Oh wait… that’s why I am the FOSTER parent taking care of kids because the birth parents are too STOOPID. 14 hours alone??? who fed them? *sigh*

That 3 year old wasn’t doing her job, she should have watched the 18 mo. old better….Good Lord…
