Virginia vagina back in court for dumping newborn in the woods
Mother accused of attempting to kill newborn daughter waives preliminary hearing
Kimberly Vick Fisher, whom I first posted about here and here, was back in court on Friday, Nov. 12, facing a judge for what was to be a preliminary hearing. But Fisher’s attorney, Timothy Clancy, said there was “no tactical advantage” for his client to going forward with the hearing, so they waived it.
To refresh your memory, in case you don’t have time to read the other posts, Fisher gave birth to a healthy baby girl back in October in the bathroom of her home. She later claimed she didn’t know she was pregnant and panicked when the baby was born. She put the girl into a trash bag and dumped her in some woods near her home, where the baby was found the next day by a local contractor with great hearing and a big heart. When cops first tracked her down at home, she at first denied the baby was hers. Ever heard of DNA, bitch?
Now, I’m no legal expert, but as I understand it these preliminary hearings are to establish whether or not the prosecution has enough evidence to move forward with a case. Waiving the right to have that evidence examined in open court tells me a couple of things. One, the evidence is pretty irrefutable, so the defense attorney isn’t going to waste time trying to argue against it. Two, he’s also smart enough to know that the evidence is so bad it makes his client look like the evil, baby-dumping bitch she is, so he’s trying to keep as much of it out of the press as possible until trial.
The next step – all the evidence will go to a grand jury, comprised of Fisher’s “peers,” most of whom, it’s probably safe to say, have never dumped a newborn in the woods to die. Here’s to hoping that jury is loaded with mothers as outraged by the actions of this festering human pustule as I am. And while I’m spreading venom, let me just say the defense attorney needs a fist in the mouth too.
He’s calling Fisher’s daughter a “miracle baby.” Yes, you utter shit, the miracle is she survived your client’s attempts to murder her.
Fisher is in jail without bail. The case will go to the grand jury on Dec. 6.
