Mother shoots and kills her 2 kids, self at the welfare office

After Fatal Standoff, Agency Rues Not Doing More
Rachelle Grimmer, Mother Who Killed Herself And Her Children In Texas Welfare Shooting, Had Long Struggled

RIP Timothy and Ramie

First let me say that this story is about 2 months old and sorry for the delay in posting about it, it made national headlines.

Rachelle Grimmer had it rough, that I will not disagree with. She was a struggling single mother of 2 kids, a 10-year old boy and a 12-year old girl.  In recent years, they were homeless at times or living in a rundown RV or even in a tent on the beach. She begged closing crews at restaurants for food they planned to throw away so she could feed her kids. Her kids bathed with a garden hose and her son was seen wearing the same camouflage shorts day after day after day. She also didn’t have a job, and the state denied her repeated requests for help and food stamps.

To say that Rachelle was desperate would be an understatement. Her repeated attempts to get food stamps were denied. She failed to provide proof of income and when she submitted her paperwork, the math worked out that her child support checks totaled more than her monthly living expenses. So she was denied time and time again.

I don’t know and can’t find out why Rachelle didn’t have a job, or if she worked as hard at finding one as she did at trying to get the state to give her food stamps. I do know that she had a very unstable existence with her kids and that her ex-husband (and father of the children) had tried to get the kids removed from her care for years.  They lived a nomadic life, living in Ohio and then Montana and then settling in Laredo, TX. The county they lived in is one of the poorest in the country with the median income at $13,600 annually. Rachelle never made anywhere near that each year.

There are conflicting reports about how much CPS was involved in their lives. The Montana CPS said they hadn’t had any reports about her. Ohio CPS declined to comment. Texas officials had interviewed Rachelle late summer in 2010 after getting reports of a woman living on the beach with her children in a tent. She was able to show that she had food and some cash and out-of-state food stamps. She then showed him a pistol that she said she kept for protection while they traveled. The deputy requested a welfare follow-up, but it never happened.

More than a year later on December 5, 2011, Rachelle took that pistol and her two kids to the state social services office in Laredo that had denied her food stamps and held a supervisor hostage. There was a 7-hour standoff with police that ended with her shooting her kids and then herself. She died at the scene. Her children, Ramie and Timothy, died days later at University Hospital in San Antonio.

I’m sure that Rachelle felt helpless. I can only imagine the pain of watching your children suffer and not having any food to feed them. But there’s always another alternative, I don’t have to spell that out for all of you. Killing your children because you’re poor is not ok. So many other ways to get around these issues, one of them would have been her getting a job. I know the job market is tough, I’m sympathetic to that. But there are shelters that can help and there are churches and food banks and soup kitchens and food pantries. I don’t live in Laredo, but a simple Google search shows me that they do. There was always the option of letting the children go back to live with their dad since he showed interest and getting your feet off the ground then bringing them back one day.

Rachelle’s 12-year old daughter Ramie posted on her Facebook wall that fateful day in December. She changed the “employer” section of her Facebook account to “may die 2day.” Nearly three hours later, at 10:34 p.m., Ramie posted “im bored,” and then 18 minutes later, ‘ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhh”.  Ramie’s final post, at 11:28 pm, read “tear gas seriasly” [sic], an apparent reference to the SWAT team that had surrounded the building. In response, a woman on Facebook who identifies herself as Ramie and Timothy’s grandmother wrote back, “I’m here for you guys. no reason to be afraid”. Shots were reported to be heard at 11:45pm.

RIP Ramie and Timothy. Sounds to me that you all had a harder life than most could imagine.  The world will certainly be a darker place without your smiling faces.

Thanks to everyone who sent in the tips.

Murder/Suicide, Daughters Nearby

Donna Royer, Parker, Colo. Mother, Shot To Death By Her Ex-Husband In McDonald’s Parking Lot In Murder-Suicide

Donna Royer’s “positive outlook” recalled by family, friends

RIP Donna Royer

Donna Royer’s ex-husband has a violent past and she had filed a restraining order against him just last April after a year of threatening calls and texts. That didn’t stop  Mark Royer from shooting her dead in the parking lot of a McDonalds, while their 2 daughters and a friend were inside.  90 minutes later, police found Mark also dead, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Donna and her ex-husband were planning on telling their daughters of Donna’s recent engagement after Christmas. It’s still not known if this is why they were all meeting up at McDonalds.

Donna was described by loved ones as being positive, friendly and loved helping others. She worked as a rehabilitation counselor, working mostly with cancer patients.

So because of Mark’s inability to get-the-fuck-over it, their two daughters (aged 11 and 14) will now live their lives without mom or dad. Mark’s selfishness not only robbed them of their parents, but also of their innocence, security, and a normal life.  I only pray that they have other family members that can step up and be the support system that they will obviously so desperately need.  There’s no word yet on who will gain custody of the girls.  Donna’s own father said that he didn’t know them that well because Mark kept the family away. So sad.

Thanks to Erin for the tip.

5 Murders and a Suicide in NC

NC woman shoots five kids in head

Fifth person dies from Greensboro murder-suicide

The selfish actions of this mother are unthinkable. Normally, I would use extremely harsh words for someone like this, but I am going to refrain from doing so. After reading many articles about this case, I came across one in which the killer’s mother, Frances, finally spoke to the media. She has heard people call her daughter a “no-good mother” and said that her daughter was not a no-good mother, and also asked that people not judge her daughter. The judgement will be given whether anyone likes it or not. I will, however, save this mother the pain of reading the hurtful things I could say in writing this story. She has suffered enough. I am not going to make her have to suffer any further with the names and insults I could throw in. Now, on to the details.

On November 20, 2011, Mary Ann Holder,36, who was involved in a love triangle, would shoot five children in the head, and then turn the gun onto herself inside her parked Ford Explorer shortly after 10 AM that morning.

It all started with a love triangle with Randall Lamb, 40. The affair had been ongoing for the last four years, and it came to a bitter end on November 20, when she arranged to meet him in a college parking lot. At this meeting she shot Lamb in the shoulder, and injury from which he has recovered. Before she shot him, Lamb, Holder, and Lamb’s wife had been trading accusations of harassment and stalking according to court documents. Lamb’s wife had also recently threatened to file a lawsuit against Holder for alienating her husbands affection.

Holder then drove off to go meet her 14-year-old son, Zachery Smith, to pick him up from a sleep over. What Holder didn’t realize, is Lamb called his wife after the altercation, and his wife would go on to call police. A half hour after these calls were made a police officer discovered Holder’s black SUV. Holder was found dead inside with a gunshot to the head, and Zachery critically wounded in the back seat. There were also two hand guns found in the vehicle. One of which was in Holder’s lap.

Officers would then move on to Holder’s home in the Pleasant Garden community and found her son, 17-year old Robert Dylan Smith, dead. They would also find Makayla Leigh Woods, 15, Richard Suttles (Holder’s nephew who was living with her), 17, and Hannaleigh Suttles(Richard’s sister and Holder’s niece who was living with her also), 8 all critically injured. Hannahleigh would die on Monday from her injuries. Richard and Makayla were rushed to a hospital and placed on life support, both were removed from life support after clinging to their lives. The only silver lining here is 15 lives have been saved by organ donations made from several of the deceased victims. 12 lives came from two of the victims alone. All five victims were laid to rest yesterday.

Police are continuing to investigate despite two letters written by Holder taking responsibility for the shootings and apologizing for all the pain she has caused. They say a clear motive has not been determined.

There are several more details about the affair that I have left out. The affair and what was going on between Holder, Lamb, and Lamb’s wife doesn’t matter. What truly maters here is five young lives were ended, and no one truly knows why Holder took their lives. May all of them rest in peace.

Boy, 4, Shoots Self with Gun – Mom and Boyfriend Behind Bars

Fayetteville couple charged with child neglect

Couple Charged In 4-Year-Old’s Shooting

On August 6, 2011, 26 year-old Qunisha, more like Cuntisha Edwards’, 4-year-old son shot himself in the hip with a gun. Police said they were notified of the bullet lodged in the poor boys hip on October 5, 2011, when the boy was taken to the hospital because of difficulty walking. Six weeks this boy was forced to walk with a bullet lodged inside of his hip. I can only imagine the pain the child felt everyday when he had to sit, walk, stand, or wanted to run but couldn’t.

The boy’s mother turner herself in to authorities. She is being charged with negligent child abuse resulting to serious bodily injury, failure to store firearm to protect minor and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Her bail was set at $100,000 secured. Her boyfriend, Vincent Massey, 25, also turned himself in to authorities. He is being charged with the same as Edwards, but also got charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. His bail was set at $185,000 secured.

Silver lining is the boy is alive, but his current condition is unknown, as are the effects of the bullet being inside his body for so long. Where the child is currently staying is also unknown.

Crayons and Coloring Books? Pfft, I prefer my GUN!

3-year-old pulls BB gun on police-father,Terrence Myers abandons him

3-year-old abandon is stolen car pulls BB gun on police  officer, father arrested

I am pretty sure that when a police officer approaches a stolen car to look inside the last thing expected to be seen is a three-year-old child brandishing a gun. That is exactly what happened about two weeks ago now inNorth Charleston,SC. I’m sure the officer was really caught off guard because most children of this age are busy spending their days with crayons, toys, and using their moms as jungle gyms, not grabbing a gun near-by when an officer is coming to where they are, but that’s precisely what this tot did. Luckily for the officer and the toddler, the gun the little boy was brandishing was a BB gun. The little guy safely handed over the BB gun to the officer while exclaiming ‘Gun, gun!’ The child was found inside a red Montero sports car with aUtah license plate. His father, 23-year-old Terrence Myers, was driving the car.

The incident began when a police officer got a tip about a stolen car being in the patrol area. The officer turned around to verify the license plate, but as the patrol car turned around the suspect, later identified as Myers, made an abrupt turn onto a side street, parked in a drive way, and then leapt an 8-foot fence abandoning the car, and his child. Gee, thanks a lot dad. I just love going on your criminal excursions just for you to abandon me when the shit starts to hit the fan! I can only imagine what went through this poor little guys head when he watched his father exit the car and then leap over a fence without him. He must have been scared out of his mind!

While Myers was hiding out at a relative’s house near-by police called in K-9 Units to attempt to locate the suspect. Two women also approached police at the scene and said that Myers called the mother of the child who asked that they go pick him up. Police asked the mother to come to the scene for questioning. In my opinion, there is absolutely no excuse for her having asked someone else to pick up her child from a crime scene. Work doesn’t cut it, visiting someone in the hospital doesn’t cut it, the only thing in my mind that does is if she were dead, dying, or seriously injured and at the hospital herself, but even then I’d find a way off of my hospital bed to go get him. Hard to do when you’re dead or dying, but I guess I’m just stubborn.

Myers was later located at a home on a near-by street and placed under arrest. Police found a gram of marijuana in his front pocket. Myers said he ran from police because he did not have a license and he had marijuana in his possession. Too bad for him his petty confession did not impress anyone. At his arraignment bail was set at $25,000 for three charges, $5,000 for possession of marijuana, $10,000 for possession of a stolen vehicle, and $10,000 for unlawful neglect of a child. Unlawful neglect, isn’t all neglect unlawful?

Myers also has a long criminal history dating back to 2006 when he was convicted of common law robbery and strong armed robbery. Here’s a breakdown I got from one of our sources.

In Oct. 2007, Myers was arrested and charged with manufacture and possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, distribution of crack cocaine, unlawful carrying of a weapon, resisting arrest and second degree burglary.

In June 2008, Myers was convicted of possession of meth or cocaine base and unlawful carrying of a weapon. In May 2008, Myers violated the conditions of his parole.

Myers was arrested again in Sept. 2009 when he was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of hypodermic needles and syringes. A month later, he was charged with burglary, breaking into auto tanks where fuel is stored and weapon sale / possession of stolen gun.

In Jan. 2010, Myers violated parole again. Then, in June, he was arrested and charged with possession of meth or cocaine base, resisting arrest and littering.

This little boy is three-years-old, there is no way his mother couldn’t have known he was bad news with a track record like that! For goodness sake, what in the world made her think that he was going to make a good father when long before they had a child together he was committing violent crimes and violating parole? Looking at his possession charges, they were probably getting high together and screwing so she was too high to care, but I’m only speculating. I’ll leave the rest of the speculation to our wonderful readers.

There is some good and bad news at the end of this though. The good news is no dead kids. The bad news is the whereabouts of the toddler were not reported. Having said that one can only assume that he’s with his mother (if you can call her that). Maybe she’ll learn from this, but as we’ve seen in the past many of them don’t.

***Thanks to Suzee for the write-up.***

Mother charged with neglecting 11 of her 12 children.

Mother charged with gross neglect of her 11 children

In November 2010, Tisha Monique Gardner (31) moved herself and her 11 children to Madison, WI, a week after they arrived; Madison police began receiving allegations of child neglect and endangerment.  Dane County Human Services began investigating her after an incident on Nov. 11th, in which it was determined a loaded shotgun was left accessible to her children, who ranged in age from 4-months-old to 14-years-old.

Dane County CPS began to work with Gardner in late November, but their concerns for her family increased as she was often found sleeping during their visits. The house was the usual cesspool, prescription pill bottles and cigarette butts littered the floor, the infant twins were found to have garbage bags on the floor for beds and her 8-year-old son suffered from such severe tooth decay he will likely need dentures by the age of 16. The children were left without adequate supervision and she was often in such a stupor she couldn’t hold her infant twins without dropping them. Holy fucking shit woman!  Stop having kids if you don’t want to take of them 31-years-old with 12 children (her oldest 15-year-old Shelton was killed stealing scrap metal).

Gardner’s children (of school age) rarely if ever attended school, they had 30% attendance rate.  She had contact with Milwaukee’s CPS on 11 different occasions prior to moving to Madison and she refused all services offered her.  A Milwaukee social worker said this in a report about Gardner, “she lacks sufficient skill, knowledge and/or motivation to obtain and maintain sufficient resources and supervision for her young children.”  Really…ya think?  School Officials in Madison provided the children with winter clothing.

Anyhow, Tisha has been charged with 15 counts of child neglect, including 4 that are felonies alleging bodily harm.  She stood mute in front of the court during her initial appearance; the judge entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.  August 11th a bench warrant was issued after she failed to appear for a court hearing.

No word on who has the children, I am going to assume they are not with her.

Thanks to Amanda for the tip.

Methtards in the News…

So this is a 1st for me – I have so many stories that involve retards on meth (aka methtards for you newbies) that I am consolidating them all into one long string.
Strap in. Enjoy.

Grandmother of child burned in meth lab arrested
Child found burned leads to meth arrest

Straight outta Saraland, Al we have 49-year old grandma – Juanita Sue Martin. (she doesn’t really look like a Juanita, does she?). Juanita Sue isn’t the kind of grandma that bakes cookies for her little grandson, or picks him up early from daycare to spoil him for the afternoon, or the kind that takes him to the zoo. She’s the kind of grandma who has her grandson for 2 days, with severe burns on his body, and doesn’t seek medical attention for him.

Now, why wouldn’t she take him to the doctor? Who could she possibly be protecting? I’ll give you no guesses and tell you that the meth pipe doesn’t fall far from the tree. The boy’s mother, Amber Nicole Lazzell (28), was arrested 1st in this case. Cops were sent to her house for a welfare check on the boy and they discovered his burns.  They questioned the mother and she claimed that he’d been burnt by common household cleaning products.  But those pesky cops knew better after finding several bottles fashioned as reactionary vessels with off white residue in them, two plastic baggies with meth inside, digital scales and three glass smoking devices with burned residue. They also found 18 pseudoephedrine pills and a plastic bag containing an unknown plant material. They put 2 and 2 together and got a meth lab and off momma went to jail.  Grandma was arrested shortly thereafter, after cops learned that the boy had also been with her with these burns.

Momma Meth

Seems that these meth mommas both have extensive wrap sheets that consist of various drug-related charges. This was Juanita Sue’s 9th arrest.   Lazzell was arrested and charged with chemical endangerment of a child, unlawful possession, distribution and manufacturing of a controlled substance. While Grandmomma Meth was arrested for reckless endangerment for not reporting his injuries.

I’m not sure who called the police to do a welfare check and I also don’t know how they knew that he’d been with his grandma for 2 days – and frankly I don’t care. I’m going to pretend that it was a concerned citizen who is basically all kinds of awesome in my book today. I visualize this person as a caped crusader who flies from house to house in Saraland, Al looking for methtards to report. Bravo, Sir/Madam.

Pair arrested after explosive meth fire, child removed from home

In Evansville, IN, 2 methtards have been arrested because their home exploding due to the manufacturing of meth. The police were called to assist the Evansville FD with a fire at the home of  Nickolas J. Beshears, 31, and Carrie L. Hooper, 38 around 8pm. The caller reported seeing an explosion at the back of the duplex where these two lived. Cops found many meth-making materials on site when they got there.

They also recovered a 3-year old child in the meth lab explosion. There is no word on the current state of the child, but that he/she is in protective custody.

Nikolas and Carrie – methtards a go go

UPDATE: Children found near one pot meth lab
Westside – UPDATE: Children found near one pot meth lab

Methtards a plenty!

How about that? Two separate stories about methtard parents from Evansville, IN. What are the odds?

Misty Voyles, 28, Christopher Dann, 33, Chad Adams, 24 and Patrick Smith, 48 were all arrested in August on meth charges. Voyles and Dann each face three charges of neglect as well since their 3 children were present in the “one pot” meth lab that they had going on. Now, I had to google that shit because I had no idea what a one pot meth lab was.

According to my BFF, Google, a one pot meth lab is the easiest and quite possibly most dangerous way of making meth. Using the one-pot method means that meth cooks can make meth in a single container which is generally flipped upside-down to cause the chemical reaction needed to turn several toxic ingredients into meth. This method generally produces lower quality meth and in smaller quantity, but add an extra element of danger to the process. Well, how about that? Learn something new every day of the fucking year!

The three kids were taken into protective custody after they were found in this meth lab. Neighbors called cops reporting a suspicious smell coming from upstairs floor of the rental house. I’ll always give a shout out to a nosey, amazing neighbor – thank you nosey neighbor!

Oh, and this wasn’t Voyles first time. She was arrested in July 2008 for being found at a meth lab as well.

Baby in DHR custody; one suspect still at large

Hazmat crew

Now back to Alabama, again what are the odds? This story has my mouth agape, I can’t lie. And there are few things that have that affect on me.  Well, more than a few, but let’s move on.

Acting on a tip, cops spent hours breaking up a meth lab in Morgan County, Alabama. After arriving on site, they found a 5-week old infant in the house.  Not only did they find a baby in a meth lab, but they also found a 40-pound explosive device.  The bomb squad was called to remove the explosive, a ‘crater charge’ which was live and armed. The bomb squad removed the explosive which according to them would have leveled not only the house, but anyone within 300 feet, if it had detonated. Reminder – there was a 5-week old baby in there with that thing!

When cops got to the lab, the methtards scattered like scared rats and some of them got away – cops only made 6 arrests. There are at least 2 or 3 that got away, including a man named “Shorty” (aka Kerry Dale Humphries).  If you know him, turn him in.

No word in the articles who the parents are of the 5-week old or if they were caught. I know I can’t pinpoint an exact Bad Breeder in this story, but some asshole had their 5-week old baby in a methlab with an explosive onsite. Whoever they are, nameless or not, this baby still deserves to get written about.

Clarksville couple arrested for making meth. Five young children found near lab materials

Methtard face x 2

I heart anonymous tips, I really do. Especially when these anonymous tips end  up with assholes like Damen A. Gohl (31) and Breah M. Watteau, (30) getting arrested for endangering their 6 children – ages 6 to 14. But let’s get to the details, shall we?

An (awesome) anonymous tipster called the police about a possible methlab in Clarksville, IN (damn how far is that from Evansville?) at the America’s Best Inn and Suites.  They responded to the call only to find a 14-year old girl outside the room shoving something into her bra. She eventually showed them the bottle containing five Lortabs and a baggie with powder, which tested positive for meth. When they asked her why she had that, she replied that she was trying to keep her dad from getting in more trouble. What a sweet, poor thing. Covering up for your fucked up father? New low, Damen, new fucking low. You have to be pretty pathetic and fucked up for your 14-year old to hide drugs from the cops for you.

Once gaining entry into the hotel room after a signed consent from Damen, they found a cooler full of items that were used to manufacture meth – all tested positive. Not only did they find this cooler full of goodies, but they also found 5 more children (ages 6-10) lying on the bed within feet of this cooler.  So wait, just making sure I have my math right here…. you are 31 and 30 and have 6 kids, the oldest of which is 14. All 8 of you live in some skanky “America’s Best Inn”? Wow. This weighs so heavy on my heart to learn that 6 children are living this way. That the poor 14-year old girl is so used to this life that she tried to protect her shithead,  junky father.

All of the kids were taken into protective custody and then later released to the grandmother. Mom and Dad were arrested on preliminary charges of class B felony manufacturing meth; class D felony possession of meth; class D felony maintaining a common nuisance; class D felony possession of a controlled substance; class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia; and six counts of class C felony child endangerment. They will appear in court for the preliminary charges.

I’m going to say let’s hope these 2 parents clean their shit up and become better parents to their 6 kids, but who am I kidding? Instead, I’ll hope that these 6 kids break the cycle and go off to become successful and healthy adults.

Thanks to Amanda for all the tips for the stories above!

And saving the most heinous for last:
Death Investigation of Murray Co. Pregnant Teen

RIP Megan Long

It’s so hard for me to wrap my head around this one, so gimme a minute.  From what I can understand from the articles I read this is a story of a selfish, piece of shit woman named April Flood who jeopardized her pregnant daughter’s health by asking her to shove a baggie of meth up her vagina during a traffic stop. April didn’t want to get caught with the meth, so she had her 19-year old pregnant daughter hide it up in herself for her. Later, when they got to their destination and she took the baggie back out, it was empty. Seems it was absorbed into her body.

19-year old mom-to-be, Megan Long and the baby died later that night at the hospital. Meghan’s boyfriend (who was present during the traffic stop), claimed that Megan started having seizure like symptoms that night.  Doctors and cops are awaiting the toxicology report to determine if this is what exactly killed her.

Now, her mother is claiming that yes – she was in the car, but she is denying that the meth was hers or that she asked her daughter to conceal it. She says that the meth belonged to Eddie Duke (the boyfriend). She showed cops a text that said, “I’m about to make a trip or call for delivery” – referring to the drugs. In the 911 call Duke tells dispatchers he doesn’t know how much meth was in Megan’s system. Megan’s father, Mickey Long, firmly believes that meth belonged to Flood. He claims that Flood admitted it to him, that she said “I just asked her to stuff it.”

I’m not sure that even with the toxicology report that they’ll be able to pinpoint who the meth belonged to or who had her hide it inside herself. I think April still deserves a spot on because she is a mother and she was involved in some degree of either asking her to hide the drugs or she knew that her daughter dated a man that did meth and he texted her about it.

Megan had a cardiac arrest shortly before she was admitted to the hospital. Doctors tried to save the baby, but it died 2 days later. “It’s probable that the baby died during that cardiac arrest.” Megan passed away the next day. She also had a young son who will now have to live his life without his mother.

RIP Megan and your unborn baby. The world never got to see your beautiful smile!

Thanks to Rhonda for the tip.

Phew – that was a lot. I don’t know that I’ve ever read so many stories about fuck-ups on meth in my whole life, nevermind in the same day. Meth is a disgusting and awful drug. To me, it just wreaks white trash and low-life nastiness. Whenever I see a house with the shades closed in the middle of the day and 6 cars parked outside, I always wonder if they’re cooking up some meth in there. Methtards don’t normally have jobs, or teeth for that matter. I’m so happy to report that 6 of my 7 stories had no dead babies. My heart breaks for all the children in these stories, but especially for Megan and her unborn baby.  When are parents going to learn? I guess never, and that’s what keeps us here on BB – reporting all the worthless parents out there. Hug and love your babies tonight everyone, I know I will.

3 people wanted after 4-year-old girl found in neighbor's apartment.

Warrants issued for 3 in connection with little girl found in neighbor’s apartment

3 arrest warrants in case  involving 4-yr-old-girl

It’s 8:30 pm on Thursday, August 25th and Mettie Edwards realizes she needs something from a family member living in the same apartment complex (or a complex across the street depending on the article.)  Her solution to this small inconvenience was to send her 4-year-old daughter to retrieve the needed item.  Yes, she sent a 4-year-old little girl out alone at 8:30 pm, to get something.  Now ask yourself for a minute if it is within the same complex or even across the street, would you allow your daughter at 4-years-old to wander around alone during the day let alone at 8:30 at night.  I sure as hell wouldn’t, my daughter is going to be 4 in a few weeks and not only is she not capable of getting herself anywhere completely on her own, she’s 4-years-old and a essentially still a baby!

So the story goes a little something like this… Mettie sends her daughter to retrieve the needed item from the other family member and her little girl does not return.  Mettie leaves in search of her baby, goes immediately to the family member’s apartment and finds her daughter has been there and left.  Where is she?  Well,  Mettie you’d know if you had WALKED over with her.  Anyhow, while frantically searching for her daughter she returns to her building and a neighbor asks her if she is looking for a small child.  The neighbor then indicates that she is in the apartment of Mettie’s downstairs neighbor Damoiz Shinn.  At almost the same time Shinn opened the apartment door and shoved the little girl out.  Mettie attempted to confront Shinn about the incident but he would not answer his door.  She then went up to her apartment and called police, by the time police arrived Shinn was gone.  No arrest was made at that time.

At 11 pm gun shots were heard throughout the apartment complex.  A male relative of Mettie and her daughter’s Robert Howard had decided to handle matters himself.  He paid Shinn a visit by kicking in his front door, Shinn went scurrying to the bedroom and bathroom, where Howard proceeded to then kick those doors in.  Howard ended up shooting Shinn in the arm and leg, the injuries were not life threatening.

The little girl was taken the hospital as well, where an exam revealed she had not been sexually assaulted or molested in any way.  Well, thank gawd!  WTF would have happened if mom hadn’t gone looking for her when she did.

Now all three of the “adults” involved are all wanted on different charges.

Damoiz Shinn is charged and wanted for enticing a child.

Robert Howard is charged and wanted for first-degree assault and burglary.

Mettie Edwards is charged and wanted for child neglect.

While I am thrilled this little girl was not molested or assaulted in anyway, I have to wonder what in the hell this guy was doing with her his apartment, alone.  If it was innocent why did he shove her into the hallway and refuse to answer the mother’s questions.  But, then what in fuck was Mettie  thinking putting her daughter in harms way allowing, or sending, her out alone at night at freakin 4-years-old.  She got very, very lucky!  Is this the first time she has let her go somewhere alone, or does she allow her baby girl to got out unsupervised, regularly?

All in all this is a happy ending!

When life gives you lemons, beat yourself with them.

Police: Pregnant woman shoots boyfriend near children

Patricia Jaggon could be a Milli Vanilli double and president to the lazy (crazy) eye convention at the same time.  She could also hold the title for being the biggest hood rat I have had the displeasure of doing a write up for.

Bobby Cord 58 is Patricia’s ‘boyfriend’. Bobby came to her apartment to retrieve his belongings before he left her for good. Patricia 28
could not even keep a man 30 years her senior.

There was 7 children from age 1 to 12 in the apartment and Patricia was also 6 months pregnant.

Instead of putting on her big girl panties she went into her bedroom and got out a gun. Then Patricia shot Bobby in the arm and chest. Patricia even called the cops and when they asked where the suspect was she replied “I’m right here!”

If this wasn’t interesting enough the children ratted Patricia out on a few things, they claim to have over heard her say that after she ” kills him she was going to put lemons in a sock and beat herself with them.”

I might be naive but… what the fuck does that accomplish? You beat someone with fruit to prevent bruises, not beat yourself. Right?

One of the kids also said that she was only with him because he drove a nice car.  Now before any old men get excited, let me make this clear. Driving a nice car may get you a 28 year old beastly looking bitch BUT it will also get your ass shot.

No mention on the children and how many if any were her’s.

Patricia Jaggon was arrested for attempted murder. I am pretty confident that she will adjust to her new prison life.

***Thanks to itsmesg2003 for the write-up.***

Toddler shoots and kills sister, step-father charged.

Toddler fatally shoots sister, police find 53 guns in home.

Step-father admits, gun that killed girl was unsecured.

On May 29th the 2-year-old, half-brother the beautiful little girl above, Emily Lavender (6), shot and killed her while her two sisters (7 and 10-years-old) watched.  The toddler found the unsecured, loaded .45 caliber handgun under the bed of his parents took it out and carried it into a room where the children were playing.  He pointed it at Emily and accidentally fired; striking her in the chest… she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emily’s step-father Jarred Dubois, was in the other room at the time and called 911.

Jarred gave a statement admitting to leaving the unsecured loaded weapon, used for “personal/family protection”, under the bed in the manufacturer’s box and not in one of the two gun safes he owns.  While searching the house the police would find 53 other firearms, including another unsecured loaded weapon.  WTH??  Most of the other firearms (that were secured in the gun safes) belonged to Dubois’ father who teaches firearm safety to Boy Scouts and Sea Cadets.

Dubois, a Marine veteran with plans to for a career in law enforcement, has been charged with first-degree criminal storage of a firearm.  If convicted he faces up to three years in prison.

The four other children living in the home were removed and placed with a relative.

Thanks to Carrie for the tip.

R.I.P. Emily.
