Police: Stepson beaten, burned and not allowed to eat:
27-year-old Jaime B. Day and 30-year-old Murray Day of Calcasieu Parish in Louisiana have been arrested and held on millions of dollars of bail for severely abusing Murray Day’s 9-year-old son.
The boy was starved to the point where he was 38 pounds. He was allegedly tied to a door knob with a dog leash. He was forced to watch the rest of the family eat. The boy allegedly became so hungry that he would eat his own feces.
Also the boy was burned with a rice sock that was obviously overheated.
Sometimes I joke, but not in the ha ha way, that there is some kind of underground child abuse ‘fight club’ who compete with each other to come up with a new and creative ways to abuse a child. The rice sock is a new one to me.
Thanks to Lori for the tip.

Is it me or do we post an inordinate amount of stories from Arizona? Well, here’s another one.
Scott and Andrea Bass of Phoenix were arrested for allegedly keeping Scott Bass’ 14-year-old daughter locked in the bathroom, starving her and abusing her.
The girl was able to escape from the house and had a coffee shop call police for her.
The bathroom she was kept in had no working water so once again we have people giving their child a bucket while locking them up.
Scott Bass allegedly made her do exercises until she dropped and beat her with a belt and rod because the girl supposedly cheated on at home test and stole food.
This allows me to address two things. Obviously this girl was home schooled in order to hide the abuse. I have nothing against people who home school their kids however when it’s abused for illegal reasons it ruins it for everybody. Secondly what is up with the whole ’stealing food’ thing? That seems to be an excuse trotted out constantly by abusers like they all have the same handbook or something.
The part of the article I loved is when police went to the house and Bass had a visibly surprised look on his face when he opened the door to the bathroom and the girl wasn’t there.
I wish they published a picture of that.
Thanks to everyone who submitted this tip.

34-year-old Almita Nicole Lockhart of Houston, Texas is accused of starving her 8-year-old daughter, Halle Shamille Smith, to death.
Lockhart is a known drug addict who had nine other children, hence the clown car comment. CPS had investigated her on several occasions but the children were never taken away.
I bet they’ve taken them away now.
Thanks to Marcy for the tip and the title inspiration.

Child Locked In Closet For Over A Year:
Is it me or is locking your kid in a closet the new ‘in’ thing among child abusers?
This time we go to Brownsville, Texas where Leticia and Alfredo Ines were arrested for locking their 12-year-old daughter in a closet with no light. She was ‘allowed’ to go to school but as soon as she got home it was back in the closet.
The closet also contained a bucket that the girl used as a toilet and she was forced to clean the bucket every day.
The birth organism claims that the girl was locked in the closet so she wouldn’t steal food. (Damn this sounds familiar.) However the girl was undernourished and was the size of an 8 or 9 year-old. Leticia doesn’t look like she’s refused a lot of meals in her time.
One of her brothers told the school about what goes on at home.
Granted both Breeders should be sent to prison with no light and no food but how did the school not notice this?
Thanks to JoAnna for the tip?

Police: Bellevue couple starved infant to keep her from getting ‘fat’:
21-year-old Brittainy Labberton and her husband 24-year-old Sam Labberton have been charged with starving their infant daughter.
2-months after the girl was born she was hospitalized for what’s known as failure to thrive. The couple allegedly claimed that the baby was fussy and often spit up the food. However the baby ate fine while in the hospital.
After that the baby was placed in a foster home where the baby gained weight. When Mrs. Labberton found out the baby had gained weight she said “Oh my God, she’s fat,” and, “I have a fat baby.” It seems that her husband has a weight problem and wanted her daughter to be under the 50th percentile in weight. It also turns out that Labberton was allegedly mixing in laxative with the baby’s food. Nothing like giving your daughter an eating disorder before she’s even old enough to have one.
Labberton supposedly has post partum depression and stopped taking her meds. If that’s the case it’s lucky that she only starved the baby and not something more drastic which according to the article she had been thinking of.
Hubby doesn’t get off easy in this post either as he claims he works the graveyard shift and ‘couldn’t help his wife.’ Selfish bastard. Plus he doesn’t think his wife did anything wrong.
Samuel Labberton even added “he would not change anything if he could go back as he does not believe he and Brittany did anything wrong,” the documents said.
Apparently he went to the Rusty Yates school of Husbandry.
After their first child was taken away because she was thinking of harming the child I wonder if he talked her into having another one?
Thanks to Layla for the tip.

Parents Accused Of Starving Daughter:
Dodge Co. Parents Charged In Abuse Of Adopted Girl:
Kathryn Krier of Dodge County, Wisconsin has been arrested for allegedly starving her stepdaughter for over a year. At the age of 12 the girl weighed 98 pounds but at the age of 13 she only weighed 70.
Krier allegedly chained the refrigerator shut to keep the girl from getting any food and also broke the girl’s fingers. She also allegedly made the girl sleep outside in the nude. Krier was able to pull the wool over the eyes of doctors and social workers by claiming the girl had an eating disorder. She also pulled the girl out of school because the school had the audacity to give her breakfast.
The father, Kenneth Krier, was also arrested for not doing anything to prevent the abuse.
What I don’t get is why they would starve a girl. Is Krier one of those mothers who think anything over being a stick is morbid obesity? Or is she just a selfish bitch?
Thanks to JJ for the tip.

DA: Ore. couple murdered 1 child, tortured another:
Take a look at these two. Do they not look related? However they are not. They are 27-year-old Donald Cockrell and his betrothed 24-year-old Michelle Smith both of Sandy, Oregon.
They have been charged not only with starving and abusing one of Cockrell’s daughters to death but also abusing one of his other children as well.
An autopsy on 3-year-old Alexis Pounder revealed that the couple allegedly starved her and beat her to death. They are also accused of torturing one of Alexis’ siblings.
Smith is not the baby mama but she has 3 of her own that were removed from the home where they lived at with Smith’s parents.
The autopsy claims that Alexis died from “blunt force trauma” and “acute starvation.”
Both are being held without bail.
Is it me or do those look like meth sores on the bride to be?
Thanks to Marci for the tip.

Police arrest two in squalid home; woman found chained to machine:
I don’t even know where to begin with this one.
Police in Kenosha, Wisconsin received a call from a man who said his mother wouldn’t let him see his own 2-year-old son.
When police got there it was something out of a horror movie with no hyperbole this time.
The child was found strapped in a car seat with a diaper that ghad not been changed for days.
Also a 38-year-old woman was found chained to a weight machine with a rusty chain, wearing only a tshirt, covered in her own waste. She is said to be mentally handicapped and only weighed 60lbs.
That woman was the daughter of 56-year-old Sally M. Adams who was arrested on abuse charges. I guess this makes her a two generation Breeder.
At what point does someone think “You know it would be a great idea to chain my handicapped daughter to weight machine and let her crap all over herself”?
Thanks to Jessica for the tip.

Police: Parents Withheld Food From Children:
It seems that Connecticut is battling Oklahoma for the “favorite” state of PBB. Maybe we should start a rating system ala News of Doom style.
This time we go to Montville, Connecticut where a Breeder and Step-Breeder have been arrested. Christine (breeder) and John Berkery (Step-Breeder) have been arrested for depriving the two children in the house of food and various other neglect charges.
Police say the couple rationed food for the 14 and 1-year-old girls. They were turned in by the girls’ aunt who said…
“Christine and John started locking up the more expensive food and snacks. Only canned foods were left out for them. They were only given specific time periods that they could eat.”
And it just wouldn’t be a story without feces wouldn’t it. Not animal this time however the 14-year-old allegedly told police that she once found the 1-year-old in an overflowing diaper playing with her own feces.
Again with these stories they should report what kind of electronic equipment was in the house and how much alcohol was in the fridge.
And again I’m always amazed that the universe is so bent that two abusers like this could find each other.
Thanks to Bridget for the tip.

Porfirio Olivas, 39, and his wife, Minerva Lopez, 33, have been arrested for child abuse. The birth vessel pleaded no contest last month to six counts of abuse, and the male animal is currently on trial. Closing arguments are expected today.
Olivas has been charged with 23 counts of child abuse in varying forms, and one count of second-degree sexual assault. He apparently speaks little or no English, because he had to have a translator to give his testimony. I’ll leave that one alone. I have bigger fish to fry in this case.
The 15 year old reported that her paternal DNA donor had forced her to eat cockroaches and a spider, and tried to make her eat a dead mouse that had been caught in a trap. Do you KNOW how many diseases are carried by cockroaches and mice?!? Do you? I think I threw up a little in the back of my mouth when I read that. And the spider? I won’t even go there….those things terrify me. The girl was also beaten with a belt, broomsticks, metal rods, a frying pan, and other objects, and was starved (well, except for the bugs and other vermin, of course).
The mother (who admitted to most of the abuse) also said that she choked her, cut her wrist with a knife, scalded her with hot water, and bit her face. The girl was covered from head to toe with bruises and bloody wounds in varying stages of healing. Did I mention that the gestation device also broke the girl’s kneecap with a baseball bat? And she was allowed to plead no contest?!? WTF? There are other details (yes, even more!) in the linked articles, so I won’t list them all here. I can’t manage to make myself write about any more of the cruelty inflicted on this poor child.
I hope this child gets intensive and extensive counseling, in order to help her deal with the lasting legacy of nightmares her DNA donors have undoubtedly left her with. And I hope that both of them get to participate in their own versions of ‘jailhouse nightmares’ for many years to come.
The good news is that if Olivas is convicted, he faces up to 200 years in prison. Lets hope that he gets it. I hope Minerva’s sentence is just as long.
Thanks to April for the tip.

OK, ok….so it was a closet the child was locked in, but ‘hole’ just fit in better there. Anyway, the hairy hag up there is Heidi L. Duesing-Christensen, who has been arrested and charged with several felonies, including child abuse, neglect, enticement, and reckless endangerment.
It seems that Heidi has allegedly been tying up her five year old daughter, taping her mouth and other body parts (after administering adult doses of benadryl), and then locking the child in a closet. The poor child has also been starved. When she went to live with her father, she only weighed 30 lbs. (bottom 3% of the weight range for her age), and had scars, scabs, and bruises all over her body. Dad was good enough to report the slag who had abused his child, and a two-week investigation ensued, culminating with the arrest of this walking waste of flesh.
The egg donor claimed that she had to restrain the girl because she would throw ‘fits’ and was uncontrollable. She blamed the bruising and scabs on the girl as well, saying the injuries were caused when the child would throw herself against the floor and walls. I wonder how the child could throw herself against ANYTHING if she was tied up all the time. Oh, yeah….she didn’t. My bad. The birth-witch did it.
In addition to all of this, though, I would be remiss if I didn’t share the blame where it is warranted. Only after the girl was sent to live with her father did the child’s teacher mention that back in October she noticed discoloration over 50% of the child’s back, and extensive scabbing. Oh, and the little girl was also one of the few children who would consistently snarf down every morsel at lunch in school. That should have been a red flag right there. Any child who is willing to eat the mystery meat, AND all of the toxic trimmings served at your average public school, is either being starved, or has no taste buds. So lets hear it for the incompetence of the teacher as well. Isn’t there a law that says teachers are REQUIRED to report suspected abuse?
Most amazing of all is the fact that the child’s father says she has exhibited no behavior problems at all since moving in with him. Well, not really so amazing….I tend to think that the only behavior problems going on in the child’s former residence were most likely the ones exhibited by the incubator and her live-in boy-toy.
The hag faces up to 29 years if convicted on all charges, but has been released on $2,000.00 bail. She also has a charge of bail jumping against her, so I am guessing that they will now have to find the witch before they prosecute her. Way to go, judge and justice system.
Thanks go out to jake’s_daddy for this tip.

Crazy mother
Article
This story was originally posted by Zero boss here, and updated by him here at a later date. It happened back in 2006, but it seems that the murdering psychopath has just now been sentenced for her crimes……although ’sentenced’ in this case is a joke, as far as I’m concerned.
I won’t go into great detail about all of the atrocities she inflicted on her 8 year old son, Raijon Daniels, before killing him, because Zeroboss did it so well that I really don’t think there is much more I can add. Please go to the links I have provided, and read what he wrote.
In a nutshell, little Raijon was abused over a long period of time – starved, locked up like an animal, tied to the bed, and made to lie in a tub full of his own waste and Pine-Sol, because he wet himself. The day he died, his incubator admitted to pouring Pine-Sol on his genitals.
She has been found not guilty by reason of insanity. What a freakin’ crock! The rules for her ‘incarceration’ are that she will be required to spend at least six months in a mental hospital, and could be there for the rest of her life. Notice I said “could”. I’m sure she’ll do what so many other murderers have done over the years – spend a few months on the crazy ward, be miraculously cured, and then be freed to kill again. This disgusts me. Crazy or not, cured or not, she should be required to remain locked up SOMEWHERE for the rest of her miserable life. Her son doesn’t get the chance to be ‘cured’ and live again….so why should she? The bile in the back of my throat is gagging me.
I don’t see how they could have come up with an insane defense anyway though, since her lawyers originally tried to ‘explain’ her reasons for treating him in such a subhuman manner. While her current attorney Robin Lipetzky, was not available for comment, a former attorney had argued that Moses was forced to take such ‘extreme measures’ because “Raijon often urinated and defecated on himself at home and at school, acted out and once ran away from home.” Really? I wonder why? Could it possibly be because the beat the crap out of him (defecation and urination on himself, anyone?), and was so mean that he wanted someone else to notice his plight (acting out, anyone?), and he didn’t want to live with such a horrible monster (running away, anyone?)
I imagine that just having to look at her face every day would have been enough to scare the piss out of him. I would have run away too.
Thanks to Layla for the update on this story.

I originally posted about this story here.
Tessa Zelek, and her husband James Alvin McCart, 23, were arrested for the starvation of their twin sons. Tessa was sentenced to 70 years back in October, but the sperm donor, James, has managed to get a plea deal that resulted in a fifteen year sentence with twelve to be served. What a travesty of justice!
Two boys will have permanent brain damage, and other health worries, but one of the people who caused these problems for them could be walking the streets again in leas than 15 years. Absolutely disgusting!

Parents charged with starving baby to death:
2 Arrested After Baby Starves To Death:
25-year-old Tivasha Logan and 27-year-old Chauncey Gardner of Lakeland, Florida were arrested for starving their 5-moth-old old daughter, Chauntasia Gardner, to death.
Police were called to the house for a baby being unresponsive but it was too late. When police investigated the premises they found that there were five other kids in the house but were all fed normally. They also found that the couple were on food stamps and had beer in the house but only one container of baby formula. And it sounds like they were watering the formula down to make it last as long as possible.
No word on if there was a Playstation or plasma TV in the house.
Both Breeders have long arrest records and the sperm donor bragged at arrest that he fathered 10 kids. He probably thinks that’s manly. What’s really manly is taking care of your kids not seeing how mnay you can make.
Oh, was I getting preachy? I’m sorry. No, no I’m not.

A toddler boy was brought to the hospital, by his mother, Marcia Bert Holliday, 30, last Thursday morning. The doctors examined the baby who looked to be 6 months old, and called the appropriate authorities. Why? Because Kayvon Lewis was actually THREE YEARS old. The creature with the prune face, above, is reportedly responsible for starving this child almost to death.
Though previously investigated by child welfare, she still retained custody of not one, but three, of her kids. The other two are five and six years old, and have never been to school. They have been placed with foster parents, rather than with family, because the other family members KNEW that the boy was being mistreated….and did nothing. Well…they did encourage her to take him to the doctor….. What?! Huh?! Encouraged? Give me a frickin’ break! What kind of people just stand by while a child is slowly being killed, and do nothing?!? They should be in jail with the egg donor, as far as I am concerned.
It seems that all of the children have different dads (BIG surprise there, huh?), and none of them are involved with the kids (I know!…….another shocker). After seeing her mug, I have my own theory about why there are three different fathers – she probably couldn’t get the same guy to sleep with her more than once. And there must have been copious amounts of alcohol involved then…..
Kayvon is in grave condition, and doctors still are not sure if he will live. Marcia says she took the boy to a doctor in August because he had stopped eating, and was having seizures. I’m kind of doubtful about that though. Not that he was having seizures – that she took him to the doctor. She had also been investigated twice last year, but no abuse was found. I’d be interested in seeing those files, as well. Looks like DCS has screwed the pooch again.
The abusive incubator was arrested at the hospital, and is being held on $20,000.00 bond. That’s all?! She probably has that much saved up from all of the money she saved by not feeding her baby boy. The other children, luckily, seemed to be getting fed on a more regular basis.
Thanks go out to April for this tip, too.
