Brian Martin is possibly the fastest drunk alive

Trench Reynolds

Police: Father Grabs Drink While Kids Play Outside Bar:

29-year-old Brian Martin of Des Moines, Iowa was arrested on child endangerment and public intoxication after his kids were found wandering around the bar parking lot.

The bartender says that he was only in there for 5-10 minutes which means he was either blind stinking drunk before he got there or he drank in an entire keg in those 10 minutes because he blew a stupidly impressive .233 BAC.

At the time of his arrest Martin allegedly said that “maybe I’m not in any condition to take care of my kids.”

Ya think?

With that BAC we have a new champion sitting atop the BB BAC Board.

18-year-old with 16-year-old wife fractures baby’s skull

Police: Baby Suffers Fractured Skull, Broken Neck:

Des Moines dad allegedly fractures 5-month-old son’s skull:

18-year-old Paul Russell Davis of Des Moines, Iowa is accused of fracturing the skull and breaking the neck of his 5-month-old son.

It seems that Davis got into an argument with his 16-year-old wife, also the mother of the child. She took a walk to cool off leaving the baby with Davis. The baby cried as they are wont to do. Since you’re reading this here you can pretty much figure what happened next.

Davis said the baby was crying as he sat in his swing. He said he “snatched the baby” out of the swing and threw the baby in his crib. He said he then grabbed the child from out of the crib and shook him in an attempt to keep him awake until he fell limp.

First off who allows their 16-year-old daughter to get married? I’m all for the traditional family unit but no 16-year-old girl should be a wife let alone a mother.

Secondly who the hell doesn’t know that you don’t snatch and throw infants? This isn’t some kind of twisted olympic event.

All the education that we have out there for kids in schools and teen pregnancy rates are still through the roof. We have failed our children as a society.

Thanks to John L for the tip.

Kid at home, mom at bar. What else is new?

Trench Reynolds

Des Moines mom arrested on neglect charge:

I used to drink. As a matter if fact I used to drink a lot. I’m not an alcoholic or anything but it my 20s I drank to excess once or twice or a hundred times. So I get it. I remember how fun it was. I also remember each and every time I paid for it in one way or another. Luckily I grew up before I really harmed anyone. The Blob over there, not so much.

She’s 29-year-old Jennifer Cordova of Des Moines, Iowa. She went to a bar and left her 5-year-old daughter at home.

Officers found an unlocked door, opened it and announced themselves. The police report says the 5-year-old, Imelda Hernandez, came around a corner and ran to the officers.

“Imelda immediately wanted to be held and was unable to speak,” police said.

She told officers she was afraid of monsters in the basement. She appeared to be terrified and traumatized.

Imelda pointed to Officer Leanna Lawrence and repeatedly said she wanted to go home with her.

But it’s ok because Cordova supposedly called home from the bar at 1:30 AM.

Guess what. 5-year-olds aren’t supposed to be up at 1:30 AM. Then again their mothers are supposed to be home at that time too.
