Pasco couple arrested on child neglect charges in filthy home:

You got to love it when a story starts out like this…

The 2-year-old boy on Saturday morning wandered outside his house alone, through a field with livestock roaming and climbed over a cattle gate, authorities said.

Guess where mom was. That’s right 29-year-old Tanya Faye Dykas was at home asleep. When police got the boy home they found what may be a record breaking filthy home.

A 7-year-old was found outside in only shoes. A 5-year-old in only underwear. The windows were covered in boards. There were trails of feces leading from the toilet to all over the house. The toilet had not been flushed in days. The prerequisite feces were all over the place. But here’s where the record gets broken…

Chicken feces were found inside a room where one of the children was allowed to keep his show chickens.

That’s right kids. Since I have taken over PBB this is the first time I can recall that chicken feces were found in a home.

And let’s go for another record. These Breeders actually admit that they’re lazy…

Tanya Faye Dykas, 29, told a deputy and a child protection investigator that she didn’t know the boy had wandered off because she had been sleeping.

Justin Dykas told investigators that he has asked the kids to pick up after themselves but they refuse and he’s tired and doesn’t feel like doing anything when he comes home from his job at Publix.

For those of you who may not know Publix is a supermarket chain in Florida.

Both Breeders are being held in the Land O’ Lakes Jail which as I’ve said before is made out of butter.

Cops: Boy Bound As Form Of Punishment:

35-year-old Jonathan Viera and his main squeeze, 25-year-old Jennifer Terrell, were both arrested by police in Deltona, Florida for tying up Viera’s teen son on a couch with zip ties securing his ankles and wrists.

Why did they tie him up you may ask? Why for running away of course. Doesn’t that make perfect sense? If by perfect you mean no sense then yes.

The teen had help from another boy who lived in the house who cut the zip ties for him.

I wonder what they did before to make him run away in the first place.

Mom Arrested For Leaving Kids Home Alone:

Sarah Petty of Brevard County, Florida has a fitting name.

She was arrested for leaving her kids home alone for 14 hours. Her 18-month-old went out for a stroll and luckily was unharmed. The 3 year-old stayed home.

So where was mom? Police say she was at another house in the neighborhood after drinking the night before and according to police she was still drunk at noon when police talked to her.

Petty claims she thought the children were with their grandmother who lives next door.

Yeah, like the police have never heard that one before.

Again, your children are more important than getting your drink on. If they’re not then you don’t deserve to have them.

Prostitute left baby in car while she worked, deputies say:

30-year-old Latosha Yeadon was arrested in Tampa, Florida for turning tricks while she left her 3-month old baby in her car. The window was cracked an inch and luckily it wasn’t a mad hot day that day in Florida.

Luckily a maintenance worker saw the baby in the car and was able to pry the window open.

Since the baby was 3-months-old it makes me wonder how long she waited after birth before she started turning tricks again or was she giving handjobs in the hospital parking lot after delivery.

Yeadon says she arranged to meet her client over the internet. Craigslist maybe?

Deputies: Man Used Baby As Shield From Taser:

That is 39-year-old Jorge Garcia of Deltona, Florida. He was stopped by police on New Year’s Day at a felony traffic stop, whatever that means.

However when police tried to arrest Garcia he grabbed a baby from the back seat, no word if he had more than one back there, and held the baby up to use as a human shield to block officers’ Tasers. He allegedly held the baby in front of him saying “Tase the baby.” I get the feeling the word mother came after that and the next word probably wasn’t superior.

The baby was unharmed but Chicken Jorge has been released on $6500 bond.’

Police: Parents Try To Sell Baby For $30:

First of all check out that mugshot. Obviously by the headlines you can tell what they did and by looking at the mugshots I am not surprised.

Anyway 23-year-old Robert G. Ellingson and 25-year-old Maghen Duvala, both Breeders of the victim, tried to sell their 2-month-old child in a store parking lot in Pensacola, Florida for 30 bucks. The parking lot in question was a PetSmart. I guess they figured if people couldn’t afford a puppy they could afford $30 for a baby.

Police say they tried to sell the baby on a bank parking lot as well.

I can only imagine what they were trying to sell the baby for. Something that rhymes with Meth comes to mind.

Beaten toddler in fair condition two weeks later:

In Sunrise, Florida 2-year-old Daniella Vitale is recovering after being left with bad boyfriend, 18-year-old Joshua Albarracin.

Albarracin was babysitting the girl and her 3-year-old brother while the mother stepped out.

He allegedly beat the girl so bad that she was barely breathing. Do you want to know the reason why? The usual.

He allegedly beat her because she WOULDN’T STOP CRYING.

Again, that’s what babies do even toddlers, even kids up to 13 years old sometimes. Kids cry and beating them will not make them stop. The logic used in these cases never ceases to astound me. You have to be the biggest idiot in the world to think that a beating will stop a child from crying.

Unfortunately in too many cases we see here the beating does stop the baby from crying but also stops them from breathing. Luckily that is not the case here.

Dentist goes to strip club, leaves infant in car:

I’ve been noticing a theme in my infrequent posts lately. People you would think are smart enough not to commit child abuse and neglect. First we had a lawyer, then a teacher, now we have a dentist.

Now the joke is that dentists are just doctors who couldn’t get into med school. However I worked in dental insurance and it can be a very complicated.

But when you’re thinking with the lower instrument it can make you short bus stupid.

For example take dental surgeon Dr. Omar Abdo. He was arrested in West Palm Beach, Florida for leaving his 8-month-old baby in his Jeep while he went into a strip club. This was after Midnight by the way. The Jeep had the windows rolled up and it was running.

Luckily an officer on foot discovered the baby in the car and when the car was opened the baby was face down in a bassinet crying.

Abdo claims that he was in the club for just a second but video surveillance allegedly shows that he was in the club for hours.

Like I said, smart enough to know better but too stupid to realize it.

Father Allegedly Suffocated Baby While He Slept:

30-year-old Emanuel Lawrence of Sunrise, Florida was arrested after he was found to have allegedly accidentally smothered his 7-month-old daughter to death.

It seems that Lawrence stayed up late smoking weed and playing a lot of Xbox. After he went to bed the baby mama woke him up and told him to feed the babies. He fed the 7-month-old and their 3-year-old, brought them back to bed with him.

Seven and a half hours later Lawrence woke up to discover he had rolled over on the 7-month-old in his sleep and suffocated her.

As my friend Rob Taylor says drug use is not a victimless crime. By the time you’re 30 with two kids you have no business still getting so high that you don’t know when you’ve rolled over on your own kid.

Naked toddlers lead to filthy home, deputies say:

Two naked toddlers riding on a big wheel in Hillsborough, Florida caught the attention of neighbors who notified police. The kids were pretty far from their home too. When police arrived on the scene they kept knocking on the door but no would answer.

They eventually let themselves in and they found alleged parents 22-year-old Xiomara Diaz and 23-year-old Rafael Ortiz “passed out”. I tried to find an article that said why they were passed out but I couldn’t find one so let your imagination run wild there.

What police also found was the usual house o’ filth complete with dog feces, no food, no beds for the kids and the like. The dogs were chihuahuas by the way.

The best part is that the Breeders tried blaming the kids for the mess.

“They made a statement to one of the deputies that the two small ones mess up things because they’re young and they’re into things,”

Really? Did the two small ones made the dogs crap all over the house and ate all the food and threw the beds out? There was a 3rd child in the house age 5.

All the kids and the dogs were removed from the house and Diaz and Ortiz were arrested on neglect charges.

Parents charged with starving baby to death:

2 Arrested After Baby Starves To Death:

25-year-old Tivasha Logan and 27-year-old Chauncey Gardner of Lakeland, Florida were arrested for starving their 5-moth-old old daughter, Chauntasia Gardner, to death.

Police were called to the house for a baby being unresponsive but it was too late. When police investigated the premises they found that there were five other kids in the house but were all fed normally. They also found that the couple were on food stamps and had beer in the house but only one container of baby formula. And it sounds like they were watering the formula down to make it last as long as possible.

No word on if there was a Playstation or plasma TV in the house.

Both Breeders have long arrest records and the sperm donor bragged at arrest that he fathered 10 kids. He probably thinks that’s manly. What’s really manly is taking care of your kids not seeing how mnay you can make.

Oh, was I getting preachy? I’m sorry. No, no I’m not.

Man charged with sexual abuse of 18-month-old:

Bitter Beer Face over there is 59-year-old Glenn M. Nelson of Punta Gorda, Florida. Him and his main squeeze, age and name unknown, are accused of molesting her 18-month-old daughter since almost from the day she was born.

Police are being tight lipped about this case but what we do know is that they originally served a search warrant on the mother’s house and allegedly found child porn on her computer. They also found chats between the pair talking about molesting the girl on webcam. So that could mean that there were other child molesting scumbags watching these sick freaks as well and did nothing about it.

That led police to raid Nelson’s home and office where more pictures of the girl were found.

As of now the mother has not been charged yet. Now before you get up in arms about that let me explain something. I’ve been writing about the Punta Gorda PD for a number of years now. They are one of the best police departments in the country in my opinion. Believe me, they will not let this woman escape justice. They’re probably just making sure that they’re i’s are dotted and their t’s are crossed.

The baby is in the custody of a relative at this time.

Man hid cocaine in his buttocks, cops say:

That’s Leroy Fillmore of Tampa, Florida. He was arrested during an undercover drug deal in which he brought two of his kids too.

when police arrested him he tried hiding his crack in his ass. I guess because no one has ever hidden drugs there before. That was sarcasm. That’s like hiding a joint in a cigarette pack, it’s the first place police look.

The kids have been placed with their grandmother.

22-year-old Nioshka Bello of Longwood, Florida has been charged in the strangling death of her 2-year-old daughter Janessa Sandoval. Bello allegedly strangled her own daughter to death with her bare hands and a bra. No word on why she used a bra.

Bello also allegedly downed about 20 Benadryl after killing her daughter. Bello was arrested after being released from the psych ward. I haven’t found a motive discussed in the case outside of her being a crazy bitch.

So for once I’m welcoming the defenders to try and shed some light on why this happened. I’m not saying that the reasons won’t be ridiculed but you’re welcome to try and explain her actions.

25-year-old Rashondra Waiters…wait…that’s a woman? Ok, I’ll take your word for it.

Anyway, 25-year-old Rashondra Waiters of Bradenton, Florida was arrested for leaving her 7, 4 and 1-year-old kids home alone while she was allegedly out at a night club. Police say that oxycontin and knives were in the reach of the children. The 7-year-old called 911. Smart kid.

Walters’ defense? She is believed to have said that she is a single mother and confused.

Confused is calling one of your kids by your other kid’s name. It is not leaving your kids at home while you get your party on.

Single moms, I’m sure you have a word or two for Ms. Walters. Let’s hear it.
