Missing boy’s father judged ready for trial:
The article is about how Ernesto Gonzalez has been ruled competent to stand trial. And if you’ll recall he claimed to a Boston newspaper that he killed Giovanni, dismembered his body and threw the remains in three different dumpsters around Lynn, Mass.
Even though Giovanni has yet to be found the article contained something I didn’t know…
In court documents filed by Curran she states five searches of the apartment were conducted in which authorities said they discovered blood on a knife and on a floorboard. The blood was identified by a state crime lab and a private lab, Cellmark Diagnostics of Dallas, as Giovanni’s
The only thing at this point that is keeping my7 hope alive is that I don’t think it’s made public just how much blood has been found.
And hey, while I’m thinking about it if you have a friend who talks about missing child stories and happens to watch a certain helmet headed commentator on TV please tell them about Giovanni.

Kids to cops: Mom used attic as lockup when angry:
27-year-old Kristen Paquette of Lowell, Mass. was arrested after police received a report of a 3-year-old being locked in an attic.
The boy was allegedly covered in his own waste, naked and the temperature in the attic was 100F. Police also say there were feces covered fingerprints all over the walls of the attic. Outside of the attic was a dirty mattress covered in flies. The residence has since been condemned. The other kids allegedly told police “Mommy does this when she gets angry.”
Paquette’s father tried defending her actions saying that the boy has health and behavioral problems.
Paquette said the boy in the attic was born three months premature, has chronic lung problems and exhibited behavioral problems despite reassurances from doctors who have examined him.
“He’s like a child with ADHD on steroids. He’s very hyperactive,” Paquette said.
So basically what he’s saying is that it’s the doctors’ and the child’s fault that mommy put him in the hole. If you’ve ever seen the movie Cool Hand Luke you know what I’m talking about. Back in the old days prisons used to put prisoners in a similar kind of small room with similar conditions.
Maybe they should bring that back for Ms. Paquette.
Thanks to Layla for the tip.

Father accused of killing 6-year-old daughter:
35-year-old Kristopher Griffin of Mansfield, Mass. was arrested for slitting his 6-year-old daughter’s throat killing her.
No motive for the killing was given but the araticle stated that the girl’s mother was planning on leaving the state with the girl and that Griffin has a history of mental illness.
Griffin cited God as the reason he killed his daughter…
Prosecutors allege Griffin confessed to killing her and said that God had told him to do it.
An officer asked Griffin if he had hurt anyone “and the defendant responded, saying ‘yes, she’s gone. I had to save her, I killed my little girl,” prosecutor Cynthia Brackett told the court.
Griffin had left a note in a mobile home where he had been staying after breaking up with the victim’s mother, saying “forgiveness for sending Katy to heaven,” police said.
And he sobbed in court when he entered his not guilty plea.
I’m sorry but you have no right to invoke God for killing your daughter. I guess he skipped the commandment that said ‘Thou shall not kill’. You don’t have the right to sob over your daughter’s death either since you ‘allegedly’ killed her.
And if he had such a history of mental illness maybe he should have been locked up already. That’s another thing wrong with out society is that wee more concerned with the rights of the dangerously mentally ill than we are the safety of those around them.

DA: Boy, 7, Dies After Dad’s Beating:
36-year-old Leslie G. Schuler of Worcester, Mass. has been arrested in the beating death of his 7-year-old son Nathaniel Turner. The worst of the beatings took place this past Sunday which was as we all know Father’s Day. Nathaniel was allegedly beaten so bad on Father’s Day with belts nad hands that he vomitted and became unresponsive. Nathaniel was taken off life support and died Tuesday.
Also arrested was Schuler’s girlfriend, not the baby mama, 28-year-old Tiffany Hyman. She was charged with not doing anything about the abuse.
Schuler only gained visiting rights for his son recently.
Ok, so the Breeder Readers have already come up with Mether’s Day for mom’s on meth. What can you guys come up with for useless sperm donor’s like this?
Thanks to Bridget for the tip.

Newborn Left Alone At Motel:
Tara Anderson, believed to be mother of baby abandoned in West Springfield, hospitalized; faces new arraignment date:
EXCLUSIVE: Friend of Mother Arrested For Abandoning Baby Speaks:
A couple found a newborn baby left alone in a West Springfield, Mass. hotel room. The umbilical cord and placenta were present. The newborn was surrounded by sheets covered in blood. The room itself was littered with beer bottles and drug paraphernalia. No one else was in the room.
Eventually authorities tracked down who they believe to be the birth organism. That would be 37-year-old Tara Anderson of no fixed address.
Anderson’s friend, Julio Reyes, claims they didn’t abandon the baby.
Reyes says Anderson didn’t abandon her baby, but left her with a caretaker. “She left it with someone responsible, but I can’t say who,” said Reyes.
He says Anderson has been staying with him in Holyoke since just after she gave birth. Reyes says she didn’t go to police because she already had a warrant out for her arrest. “All I know is she did what was right for her not to get into trouble,” said Reyes.
So let me get this straight. Some people, including a pregnant woman, were drinking and doing drugs in a motel room, she gives birth in said motel room, then leaves the baby allegedly with someone else while she leaves the hotel for some reason? Have you ever heard of anyone going to a motel room purposely to give birth that didn’t abandon the baby?
Thanks to Danielle for the tip.

Reward Offered For Missing Lynn Boy:
It’s hard to believe that it’s been nine months since Giovanni Gonzalez disappeared. If you don’t know who Giovanni Gonzalez is I’m not surprised. The story has hardly been a blip on the national media’s radar.
Giovanni is a 6-year-old boy from Boston who back in August of last year was supposed to have spent the weekend with his sperm donor, Ernesto Gonzalez of Lynn, Mass. When Giovanni’s mother went to pick Giovanni up he was gone and Ernesto Gonzalez said that he didn’t know what happened to him. Ernesto has been in jail ever since, refusing to give police any information on his son’s whereabouts.
Ernesto Gonzalez gave an interview to Boston media claiming that he killed Giovanni but police say there’s no evidence to back that claim up.
National (U.S.) media could probably assist a great deal helping to find Giovanni but they’re too interested in the Casey Anthony story. The only national media outlet that has featured Giovanni’s story is America’s Most Wanted.
Ok, enough ranting for now.
Anyway the police in Lynn, Mass. are offering a $7,000 reward for for the return of Giovanni Gonzalez.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Lynn police at 781-477-4436.
Since national media won’t help to find Giovanni I guess it’s up to us. Please spread the word about Giovanni’s plight. Let’s do what the national media refuses to do. Let’s help get Giovanni home.

Quincy mother accused of killing unborn child and daughter, 9:
Report: MA woman tried before to kill unborn child:
38-year-old Fang Chi-Xue of Quincy, Mass. went beserk in her own home amd stabbed her own 9-year-old daughter to death before turning the knife on herself and stabbing herself in the abdomen which led to the death of her unborn child. Chi-Xue was 7 1/2 months pregnant. She also tried to strangle her 14-year-old daughter to death.
The reason? She believed her husband fathered a child with a mistress and was going to leave her and take the kids. According to police she tried killing her unborn child previously by drinking poison.
Even if her husband was a cheating bastard wouldn’t you rather have your kids alive and living with their father than being dead? Maybe that’s just me.
Chi-Xue was discovered by her husband bleeding on the floor with cuts to her wrists. I bet you any amount of money she went across the street and not down the road if you know what I mean.
Thanks to Lori for the tip.

Montague mother accused of trying to kill girl with scissors:
38-year-old Susan R. Johnson of Montague, Mass. is being held after she not only allegedly stabbed her two-year-old daughter with scissors but strangled her with an electrical cord too.
A security guard at the Gardner, Mass. apartment complex caught Johnson stabbing the child in the complex’s laundry room. After the guard got the scissors away from her she grabbed the cord from the dryer and began choking the child.
After the guard and other residents freed the child and subdued Johnson she was heard to have screamed such things as “I’ve got to kill you” and “Die! Die! Die!”
Her lawyer claims she suffers from depression and was off her meds. He also delivered this quote…
“Obviously she has some health issues.”
Ya think?
Luckily the child survived and is now in the custody of DCF.
Thanks to Lindsey for the tip.

Giovanni’s Mother Says Her Son Is Not Dead:
Daisy Colon is the mother of missing Massachusetts 5-year-old Giovanni Gonzlaez. As you may recall Giovanni was spending some time with his father Ernesto Gonzalez and when it came time for Giovanni to return to his mother he was gone and his father is sitting in jail refusing to divulge his whereabouts. He claimed to a Boston newspaper that he killed Giovanni but police don’t believe that story.
And neither does Daisy Colon, she claims that she saw Giovanni in Lynn, Massachusetts in a park with an unknown man about a month and a half after his disappearance. By the time she flagged down a police officer they were gone.
She’s calling on the people of Lynn to keep an eye out for Giovanni as he may still be among them.

Gonzalez lawyer files motion regarding neighbor:
The lawyer for Ernesto Gonzalez has filed a motion about Gonzalez’s neighbor who has assisted police in their investigation. As you should know by now Ernesto Gonzalez is being held in the disappearance of his 5-year-old son Giovanni Gonzalez. He was the last person seen with Giovanni and he claimed to a Boston newspaper that he killed and dismembered his son.
Anyway his attorney filed a motion seeking information to see if police made any deals with Gonzalez’s neighbor Jason Fallis. Falls gave information to police about witnessing Giovanni with his father right before he disappeared.

Lowell father charged with attack on infant son:
29-year-old Miguel Alexis Diaz of Lowell, Mass. was arrested for punching his 4-month-old son in the head, fracturing his skull.
When questioned by police Diaz admitted punching the child because he ‘lost his cool’.
As far as I’m concerned he never had any ‘cool’ to begin with.

Cops searched Gonzalez’ home after confession:
Just a quick update on the story of Giovanni Gonzalez.
His father, Ernesto Gonzalez, has pleaded not guilty to the latest charges against him of charges of parental kidnapping and willfully misleading police in the disappearance of his son.
And while police are remaining tight-lipped about the November 28th search after Gonzlalez ‘confessed’ to the Boston Globe a neighbor of Gonzlalez’s said that police searched Gonzalez’s house again. The neighbor said that heard police sawing in the bathroom.

No bail for teen charged with killing son, 1:
Police in Worcester, Mass. arrested 16-year-old Nga Thi Truong girl in the murder of her toddler son Khyle Truong. It’s alleged that she used the boy’s teddy bear to smother him.
Police say she confessed to killing him because allegedly she was frustrated at the boy because he was sick.
Truong’s boyfriend, 17-year-old Edwin Vasquez who is not the baby daddy, disputes the confession and says police pressured her into confessing.
“I didn’t hear anything, and I was sleeping right next to him,” Vasquez said.
Vasquez said the baby had a fever and woke up a few times Saturday night, before Truong changed his diaper and fed him about 8 a.m.
“I heard Khyle drinking the bottle, and he was fine,” Vasquez said. “About 11 (a.m.) I woke up … she was screaming — she was screaming Khyle’s name. Khyle was not moving at all.”
Vasquez is not Khyle’s baby daddy but he is a baby daddy as Truong is currently pregnant with his child.
Truong has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge and has been ordered held without bail.
How sad is it that she used what I’m sure the boy saw as an object of security to allegedly murder him?
In a perfect world teens would be sterile until they could prove that they’re responsible.

Last summer when Pittsfield, Mass. Police and Department of Social Service workers showed up at Jennifer Johnson’s apartment, they found her three-year-old alone in a barren room. Clad only in her underpants, the girl sported a black eye and bruises on her face, shoulder, head and leg. The large, oval-shaped bruise on the inside of the girl’s leg turned out to be a human-sized bite mark. Doctors who examined the child also found that she had a fractured wrist and collarbone, and was hemorrhaging in one eardrum.
Johnson said she didn’t know her boyfriend, Mark Wise, was beating their child and instead assumed that her “rough-and-tumble kid” had caused her own injuries. She said her daughter told her she fell off her bed, and had never mentioned that her father was hurting her. Johnson also insisted that she hadn’t noticed the bite mark.
The DA claims that Johnson allowed Wise to assault the girl and did nothing to stop it. Johnson is charged with one count of permitting injury to a child and one count of reckless endangerment of a child. Last year Wise pleaded guilty to three counts of assault and battery on a child with injury, and is now serving between 2 1/2 and 4 years in state prison.
The child, who turns six today, was adopted by her grandmother after Johnson gave up her parental rights. Johnson now lives in a local homeless shelter, and has failed to make her scheduled visitations with her daughter.
Another case of men who beat kids and the women who love them? Or denial just ain’t a river in Egypt?
