Chandler father accused of placing baby son in freezer:
Police: Chandler Man Puts Baby In Freezer:
Police in Chandler, Arizona arrested Leann and Chance Cracke, nice name, for injuring their 7-month-old son. It seems that Mr. Methe…I mean Cracke was tweaking on meth and was hungry and didn’t want to put the baby on the dirty floor. We’ll get to the floor in a second. So instead of putting the baby down he put him on the bottom shelf of the freezer. I’m guessing that whenever he found some food to put in his meth riddled body he forgot about the baby and closed the freezer door. After a few minutes the Breeders heard the baby crying and got him out. The boy was said to have a bump and a cut from the freezer door. Police were called by the boy’s maternal grandmother.
Now back to the floor. The reason the floor was dirty was because it was covered in cockroaches, urine and the pre-requisite feces. No word yet if the feces was dog or human. There was also a rusty razor blade just laying around along with several open containers of tobacco spit.
The Breeders’ 19-month-old daughter was also removed from the house because of burns and bruises found on her.
The Crackes allegedly admitted to smoking meth every day for a month and a half.
I still can’t comprehend why scum that have children would inject this toxic substance into their bodies. You would think with two young children they already weren’t getting enough sleep.
Thanks to Susan for the tip.

Mom with children, meth in car arrested
Have meth, will travel. Apparently, that’s the philosophy of Beth Ann Johnson of Casper, Wyoming. Police say they caught Johnson motoring around Casper with meth in her minivan. Oh, and did I mention she also had her three kids with her in the vehicle?
When cops pulled her over around 9 at night, they noticed she seemed “jumpy and nervous.” Ya think? She, of course, denied being under the influence. The cops found a bag inside the van containing two syringes, a digital scale, metal spoon and some white residue that turned out to be … wait for it … meth!
Beth Ann had no idea how that bag of nasty stuff got in her family minivan, but police charged her anyway – with driving under the influence and three counts of child endangerment. The kids got turned over to social services. No word on the father (or fathers).
Lest there be any doubt that Beth Ann is NOT one of the great thinkers of our time, let me point out that she is 31. Her oldest child (maybe it was HIS meth?) is 16. That means the birth vessel was just 15 when she had him, and possibly only 14 when she got knocked up.
But the string of stupid decisions didn’t stop there. Her other two children are 13 and 10, which means Beth Ann did NOT learn her lesson about using birth control after the first one because she had the second just three years later when she was 18. Apparently, it took until the third child for her to get the message.
And the crowning glory of bad decisions – motoring around in a minivan with meth and your offspring in the car. Seems to me at least one of those items should have been left at home, doncha think?
Thanks go to Sarah for the tip on this one.

Otterman gets jail time:
28-year-old Amy Otterman (formerly Amy Reed) of Greencastle, Indiana was sentenced to three years on child abuse charges. She was arrested while pregnant when her then two children tested positive for meth, methadone, weed and coke. (I made sure I spelled coke right this time.)
Prosecutors agreed to a plea when they discovered that the kids ingested the drugs on their own and they were not administered by Otterman. I don’t see how that should make a difference. If you leave coke and meth just laying around while there are kids in the house AND YOU’RE PREGNANT to me it’s no different than giving the kids the drugs yourself. Considering one of the kids was a three-month-old I don’t see how that child could have gotten their hands on the drugs.
Anyway the judge thought that one year in jail and two yeas of house arrest would be a sufficient enough punishment. And her kids have been returned to her. You can send your regards to Putnam County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Headley.
Thanks to CJB for the tip.

California Couple Tries To Sell Baby At Walmart Store:
Police: Calif. Couple Tried to Sell Baby at Walmart:
Police: Calif couple tried to sell baby at Walmart:
Police in Salinas, California have arrested 20-year-old Samantha Tomasini and 38-year-old Patrick Fousek after they allegedly tried to sell their baby to a pair of women in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart for $25.
Police say the pair appeared to be tweaking on meth. Tomasini allegedly admitted to even breastfeeding the baby while high on meth.
She sure does look like she has meth face.
Instead of Ephedrine I wish one of the ingredients of meth was birth control to stop these tweaking Breeders (Tweaders?) from procreating.
Thanks to Jennifer, Samantha and Sara for the tips.

Meth found in body of dead Mid-South baby:
Back in March 4-month-old Abigail Farmer of Paragould, Ark. died from what officials thought to be asphyxiation from being pushed into the back of the cushions of a couch. At the time there wasn’t enough to arrest her Breeders Charles Farmer and Brittany Farmer. That was until the toxicology reports came back from the coroner.
Not only was meth found in Abigail’s system but police say that they also think that someone was holding Abigail in their arms while smoking meth. Both Breeders have also tested positive for meth and meth making materials were also found in the house.
They’ve only been charged with misdemeanor negligent homicide and their bond was only set at $5K each.
How in the blue hell is this only a misdemeanor. A lot of times when a death happens during the commission of a crime that upgrades the crime to a felony. Why not now?
If you want to get people to stop smoking meth especially when they have kids then scumbags like this should be made an example of by the courts. Too bad they’ll get slaps on the wrist and be able to crank out more kids that they’ll put in danger.

Police: Mother flings baby to ground in meth-fueled rage:
23-year-old Kayla Neighbors of Greenwood, Indiana was arrested last week for slamming her infant to the ground while tweaked out on meth.
Her neighbors were concerned because she was screaming about dropping her baby. When her neighbors found her baby and handed it to her she looked at the baby then threw it on the parking lot pavement.
She”s allegedly admitted to police that she was on meth.
And to make matters worse she’s 6-months pregnant.
The infant sustained a fractured skull.
Knowing what we know now most logical people wouldn’t even smoke cigarettes while pregnant or having small children around. So just imagine the amount of sheer idiocy it must take for someone to smoke meth not only while they’re supposed to be taking care of an infant but while pregnant as well.
It’s too bad that meth doesn’t make you sterile.
Thanks to Raven for the tip.

Beth and Matthew Cantin, that’s Beth pictured there in case you couldn’t guess, of Plant City, Florida have been arrested for allegedly running a meth lab.
Since you’re reading this here you can guess there were kids around the lab and you’d be right.
Their 3 kids, ages 6 months to 9 years, are believed to have been exposed to the various meth related chemicals.
Nothing like risking blowing up or poisoning your own kids so you can cook meth.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before but one of the most common questions I get is “How do you do this every day?” The truth is I’ve become almost numb to it since I’ve been writing about stuff like this for almost 10 years now.
However every once in a while a story comes along that’s so horrific that I can’t even bring myself to post the details.
The story of 23-month-old Cyrus Belt would be one of those stories.
He was killed two years ago in Hawaii by a meth smoking tweaker in a very bizarre and gruesome way. As the article states it seems that everyone around him smoked meth which eventually led to his death.
I personally found the article to be disturbing but if you want to read it it can be found here.
Thanks to Michelle for the tip.

Couple arrested after children test positive for drugs:
David Armendariz, 33, and Kimberly Little, 25, from Harrison County, Texas, have four children ranging in age from 18-months to 6-years-old. Three out of their four children allegedly tested positive for meth while the parents were being investigated for narcotics.
Guess which one of their children had the most amount of meth in their system? Nope, it was the 6-year-old, he was clean. It was the 18-month-old, their youngest.
But drugs are victimless right. These kids must have chosen to smoke meth with their parents.
Or their parents are a bunch of meth smoking trash that don’t give a rats ass about their kids.
Thanks to Lori for the tip.

Parents busted over toddler’s dope test:
In Roswell, New Mexico Breeders Joshua Buenrostro, 20, and Cecilia Ogas, 23 were arrested when their 2-year-old son tested positive for weed and meth.
Let’s hear from Roswell police Sgt. Levi Moody about this kind of thing…
“Drug use is so prevalent that these kids are being exposed way too often,” Moody said. “We could make a case a day on this situation.”
And Roswell isn’t exactly what I would call a metropolis.
The worst part is the Breeders are only facing a little more than a year behind bars. Again sentences need to be handed out for scum like this that expose their kids to drugs like this.
Did that sound too preachy? Then just call me The Right Reverend Trench Reynolds.
Thanks to Marci for the tip.
