22-year-old Mark A Guenther of Lee’s Summit, Missouri has been charged in the beating and abuse death of his 15-month-old daughter, Elizabeth J. Guenther.

ER doctors claim that the girl had a fractured skull and various bruises all over her body.

Guenther allegedly originally claimed that she fell in the tub after standing up during a bath. After he was told that the injuries were inconsistent with his story he allegedly said he restrained the girl by her hands and neck while giving her an asthma treatment.

I have asthma but I didn’t develop it until I was an adult. However my brother has had asthma as long as I can remember and I never recall a ‘treatment’ where he was restrained by his hands and neck. And even if that was an alleged treatment for asthma why didn’t he come out with that story first?

That’s because he’s more than likely lying and he’s just an abusive ass.

Kid Chews Mom’s PCP Cigarette, Goes into Cardiac Arrest:

That ravishing beauty is Velma C. Scott, age unknown, of Kansas City, Missouri. She’s been arrested for allowing her 21-month-old son to chew on PCP laced cigarettes. Scott denies the charges saying that “a friend” left the” cigarettes in the house which were found on the bathroom sink, the floor, and the living room couch. Apparently her “friend” is very clumsy with their cigarettes. They also found PCP in the bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom.

The child went into full cardiac arrest.

Now get this…

The boy’s aunt told police that the baby was born drug exposed and she believed her sister was high on PCP. The suspect’s sister said her nephew had not been “acting right” for several days.

Then call Child Services. Better to call and be wrong then not call and be right.

Missouri Man Charged In Chicago Toddler’s Death:

This guy not only qualifies as a bad boyfriend. He qualifies as a really bad boyfriend.

33-year-old Marquicio Johnson of Hazelwood, Missouri is accused of beating 2-year-old Orionis Barron-Taylor of Chicago to death. Not only was Orionis not his

child he wasn’t even his girlfriend’s child. Orionis was the girlfriend’s nephew. Technically not a PBB but why split hairs.

Orionis’ mother sent him to live with his aunt (the girlfriend) because the mother was starting two jobs.

Again when I first got married it took me a while to get comfortable with disciplining my stepchildren.. I can’t even imagine touching someone’s kid that in no way shape or form even remotely belongs to be let alone beating them so bad that they die.

What we know so far?  A Missouri man and his four sons have been arrested for sexually abusing children and grandchildren under the age of 12 from approximately 1988 to 1995.

The alleged crimes came to light in August when a 26-year-old woman approached police with the suppressed memories of years of abuse at the hand of her father, uncles and grandfather. The woman described nine incidents of abuse which she believes began when she was about five and ended after she became pregnant and was forced to have an abortion at age 11.

The abuse included elaborate ‘wedding’ ceremonies in which the girls would pick flowers to adorn their hair and wear special dresses. After one such ceremony, she was ‘wed’ to an uncle and led to a chicken coop. Charging documents said she remembered ‘her grandfather putting a blanket over the glass door and saying ‘you all have fun”.

Another incident involved lining the girls up on their grandfather’s bed in the farmhouse basement. The grandfather, father and an uncle then repeatedly violated the girls with items that included a screw driver and a pencil.

The woman also recalled being forced to watch as her brother was sexually abused and the charging documents also described an incident of sexual abuse involving a dog.

Authorities report that at least five other relatives have come forward coberating the allegations.

It is believed that the children were told to write down their bad memories and put the note in a jar and bury it in the yard and the memories would go away.

Authorities also believe a body or bodies are buried on the family property.  Excavation is underway.

Mom Accused Of Dropping Child From Balcony:

One night in September, or so the legend goes, 23-year-old Callie M. Smith vandalized several cars and jumped on top of them naked in the parking lot of a Liberty, Missouri apartment complex. She then allegedly went to a second floor balcony and dangled her 22-month-old son from it. She threatened to drop the boy and so she did. Luckily a witness was able to catch the boy and he sustained no injuries. Sign that witness up for The Chiefs. They need the help at receiver.

Anyway it seems that Smith was hopped up on drugs, if you couldn’t guess. A neighbor seems to blame the drugs and not the Breeder for taking them…

Lippitt said Smith’s behavior was out of character and she believes it was drug-induced.

“She was a very loving, sweet mother, but on that particular day, something definitely went down. That was really strong stuff she was on,” Lippitt said.

Sorry lady but loving sweet mothers don’t take whatever Smith was on.

An Eldon, Missouri couple, Christopher and Jessica Blood, are in jail tonight.  Their six WEEK old son has been admitted to the hospital with four broken ribs, two broken legs and a broken arm.

The couple admitted to squeezing the baby too tight because he wouldn’t stop crying; and then Christopher admitted to tightly gripping his little arms and legs for the same reason.

The infant is currently in the custody of his grandmother.

Mo. mom accused of using child to block Taser:

A 20-year-old woman from Hannibal, Missouri is accused of using her 1-year-old child as a shield when police produced a TASER while investigating an assault claim made by the woman. The thing is she wasn’t shielding herself.

During the course of the police investigation a 22-year-old man showed up and started giving cops a hard time. When police pulled out a TASER the woman handed the child to the man to use as a shield.

I would lay odds that not only was he probably the man who assaulted her but more than likely is her penis.

Mother Accused of Driving Girls to Fight:

That disappointed looking individual is one 46-year-old Sherri L. Turner of Kearney, Missouri. She’s accused of allowing her daughter’s friend to drive her in Turner’s car and her 16-year-old daughter to a fight that her daughter and her friend were going to be in. She also had 3 beers prior to 5:30pm. Well at least she had a designated driver.

As is usual in these cases the fight was captured on video.

Police say a video of the incident that ensued shows Turner encouraging the girl who drove her there and another girl while they continually hit and punched a different girl, who at times was on the ground being held by her attackers.

Turner has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Police: Mom Sat On, Killed Son:

28-year-old Lakeesha Brown of Kansas City, Missouri is accused of killing her 7-year-old son Esmond Ross. Brown told police that she put her legs across his head but would not give a reason why.

Police say that this isn’t the first encounter they had with Brown as they say in 2003 she was stopped for walking dangerously close to traffic with a child in tow. They say she appeared to be on drugs at the time.

Esmond Ross’ father says that he was trying to get custody of his son but couldn’t afford a lawyer. That makes me wonder if this was one of those cases where the court automatically sides with the mother.

Man charged with incest, murder after infant remains are found in Cass County

It seems that Missouri has it’s own little version of Josef Fritzl and his name is Danial M. Rinehart.

The 47-year-old waste of carbon from Harrisonville, Missouri has been arrested not only for raping his own teenage daughter but for also for fathering four children with her. But it doesn’t end there.

Rinehart had been having sex with his daughter since she was 13. She’s 19 now.

The first child was born in March of 2004 while the family lived in Oklahoma. The baby died that July. The girl, her sisters and her mother, Linda Rinehart, all buried the baby in a box that was sealed with silicone.

In 2005 the girl gave birth to a boy in a truck while both Rineharts helping to deliver the baby. Linda Rinehart even cut the umbilical cord. This happened while the family was living in Hendersonville. The child is still alive and has been placed in care of the state.

In 2006 the girl gave birth to her third child. Again both of the girls Breeders helped deliver the baby. This time Grampa Daddy got to cut the cord. I’m sure he was so proud. That child died in early 2007. No medical treatment was ever sought. When he died the girl and Rinehart buried the baby under their dirt floored garage. The girl moved the body when it was understood that investigators were interested in the family.

The fourth child was born in April of last year inside of a camper. It was stillborn. After Rinehart helped deliver the baby they put the baby in a cooler and sealed it with silicone and put it behind the RV where the third child’s body was moved to. Rinehart claims he gave the child CPR but again sought no medical attention.

Again I am just aghast at the thought processes of the main perpetrators. Rinehart gets it in his head that he’s going to have sex with his teenage daughter and his wife, the girl’s mother, allows it. Did she think there was no problem with that or was she so subservient to her husband she dare not question him and to stay with him for years and never try and contact law enforcement. Not to mention she assisted in the cover up. Linda Rinehart has also been arrested. She told police she was aware of the ‘relationship’ and was even jealous of it yet she still chose to do nothing.

As much as I’m a proponent of the death penalty killin’ is too good for this scumbag, as the saying goes. This assclown need to be studied to see what makes his brain tick in the most inhumane way possible.

Man allegedly leaves daughter in cold:

Yet another heartwarming Christmas time tale, this time from Kirksville, Missouri.

28 year old Christopher Guthrie of Moberly, Missouri was arrested in WalMart for trying to shoplift. He got into a scuffle with store security when they apprehended him. It was at that time that they discovered he had left his young daughter in the car in sub zero temperatures. Police had to use the Taser on Guthrie as well. And when they searched him they found a baggie with Xanax in it.

I bet he wasn’t even stealing a present for his daughter.

St. Charles, Missouri is home to Shawn Michael Mohan, a 20-year-old who could use a few parenting lessons. Or maybe a few years in the penitentiary is more appropriate. Police are accusing Mohan of repeatedly shooting his 12-day-old son with a BB guns.

The boy’s doctors discovered the circular injuries in the child’s skin when Mohan brought him in for a routine check-up. Mohan claims it was an accident, but the police aren’t buying that. First, the kid was shot multiple times. Second, Mohan is already serving five years of probation for inflicting a head injury on his first child.

Oooops. So much for having learned his lesson. Time to lock Mr. Mohan away for a while, for the good of society – not to mention his kids. Oh yeah, and how about a court-ordered vasectomy while we’re at it? Mohan’s already 0 for 2 at the parental bat, for God sakes.

Man, you gotta give Sherri Lohnstein an ounce of credit. When her 2 lb. baby died shortly after birth in September, she knew the reason: she had gotten drunk the night she went into labor. Lab tests confirmed that the child was born with a blood alcohol level of 0.17%, more than two times the legal driving limit. That’s only two-hundredths more sober than Gus van Sant, for crying out loud.

Dr. Mary Case, medical examiner for St. Charles County, said she had never seen a case in which a mom had drunk her baby to death. Indeed, the only case that leaps to my mind immediately is that of Melissa Irene Tanner, whose baby was born with a BAC of 0.21%. But Tanner’s child survived (though I can’t find an update on whether the kid sustained any logn-term damage). Also, Tanner’s child was over six pounds at birth, which tells me that Lohnstein was abusing drink in her pregnancy much earlier and much more heavily than Tanner did. (UPDATE: As Lohnstein’s sister notes in a comment below, Lohnstein gave birth prematurely, so the weight comparison is invalid. I haven’t read the full coroner’s report yet to determine whether the premature birth was a direct result of alcoholism.)

But, hey, let’s not be too hard on the 33-year-old mom. (Well, former mom.) Look at her last name: “Lohnstein”. Doesn’t that sound like a low-quality lager? You might’ve well as named her “Michelob”.

I kid, of course. The bitch should totally fry for this. And that’s no joke.

Our Parents Behaving Badly week kicks off with…more druggie parents! Now, as I’ve made clear before, I’m not a “Just Say No” kind of guy. But if you’re going to use, there are certain guidelines you ought to follow. Like, oh, say, not ingesting any substances while you’re pregnant. Sadly, 26-year-old Stacey Sturdevant of Springfield, Missouri didn’t much care for that advice. She wasn’t gonna let some baby get in the way of her meth habit! Her reward for this stirling behavior: five years in jail. Oh, and her newborn is in state custody, natch.

I imagine I’ll hear an uproar not about how I dare judge this mom, who fell pray to “the ravages of drug addiction”. Whatever. Personal responsibility has to start somewhere. If her baby’s health had meant anything to her, she would have made quitting her priority. As it is, she decided to “quit” meth by smoking marijuana instead. For some reason, this didn’t work. So her baby ended up with both methamphetamine and THC in her system at birth.

Thanks to reader Kim Manthe for this following report that’s almost too grotesque to be believed. Fortunately, this tale of a mom run amock has a happy ending. According to Kim, a mom came into the thrift store where she works in Missouri. Before long, one employee reported witnessing the loving mom “punch her 2 year old in the face with a closed fist”. But that’s not all! When the six-month-old baby in her cart commenced caterwauling, Mommy Dearest shuttled the kids to the nearest belt rack, where she “removed a belt and started beating the kid about the head & face in front of everyone”.

Gadzooks. I suppose we should be thankful that she was nowhere near the soldering irons.

Kim and the staff called police, who placed the mom under arrest. The store’s manager then freed up some of the staff’s time to help watch the kids until their grandmother arrived to take custody of them. Says Kim: “He saved the kids added tramua & made a postive statement about our store’s views on child abuse. We need more people like him.” Agreed, Kim. One can only wonder how this would’ve turned out in the hands of a lesser manager. (“Excuse me, ma’am, but store policy demands that you pay for that belt before beating your child with it….”)
