I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before but one of the most common questions I get is “How do you do this every day?” The truth is I’ve become almost numb to it since I’ve been writing about stuff like this for almost 10 years now.
However every once in a while a story comes along that’s so horrific that I can’t even bring myself to post the details.
The story of 23-month-old Cyrus Belt would be one of those stories.
He was killed two years ago in Hawaii by a meth smoking tweaker in a very bizarre and gruesome way. As the article states it seems that everyone around him smoked meth which eventually led to his death.
I personally found the article to be disturbing but if you want to read it it can be found here.
Thanks to Michelle for the tip.

Susan Smith Asks For New Trial:
Mother convicted in sons’ deaths wants new trial:
Susan Smith to me is the original and quintessential Bad Breeder, or PBB if you will.
If you don’t know the story Smith was convicted of killing her two kids, 3-year-old Michael Daniel Smith and 14-month-old Alexander Tyler Smith, by strapping them in a car and letting the car roll into a lake.
She supposedly killed her kids because she was in a relationship with a man who didn’t want to have kids. Then on top of it she went on national TV telling the story that her kids were abducted in a carjacking by a ‘black man’.
Eventually she confessed to killing her kids and was sentenced to life behind bars. In my opinion she should have been given the death penalty but here we are.
This all happened in the early 90’s. However recently she has requested a new trial on the grounds that she had inadequate counsel and that the trial was ‘unfair’.
Unfair? You know what was unfair? What was unfair was two kids sliding into a lake inside their car crying for their mother who was more interested in her man than her own flesh and blood.
I don’t care that she was molested as a child.
And do you notice that not once does she regret killing her children. She’s only trying to get out of jail on technicalities.

Midwest City father jailed in death of 2-month-old girl:
MWC Man Accused Of Killing Baby:
24-year-old Jacob Lynn Watson of Midwest City, Oklahoma has been charged in the beating death of his 2-month-old daughter Brylee Watson.
Medical personnel say that Brylee had 9 fractures of her bones consisting of both arms, clavicles, right femur, ribs and skull.
Jacob Watson allegedly gave authorities four different stories of what transpired with his daughter.
First he said he went to his daughter’s crib to check on her and she wasn’t breathing.
Then he said that he tripped over the cat dropping his daughter before falling on top of her.
Then, in a Susan Smith like maneuver, he told police that two ‘black guys’ broke into his house stealing stuff and abusing Brylee and a 2-year-old in the home.
Finally he allegedly admitted to the abuse claiming that he was upset over his failing relationship with Brylee’s mother and took it out on Brylee.
The mother was at work which again makes me wonder if big man even had a job.
So not only do we have a coward and loser but apparently a bad liar. At least when the abusers are complete drooling morons it makes them easier to arrest.
Thanks to Marcia for the tip.

4-month-old twins hospitalized, one on life support after mother’s boyfriend allegedly assaulted them:
Teen arraigned on murder charges after 4-month-old baby dies:
Bullitt County man admits to drug use before alleged assault on 4-month-old:
Bad Boyfriend 18-year-old Samuel Harris, Jr. of Bullitt County, Kentucky has been arrested for abusing his girlfriend’s 4-month-old twins killing one of them.
Harris allegedly abused them while his mother went out to get something to eat. Allegedly in that short time Harris took one of the twins and started shaking him because why? That’s right because he wouldn’t stop crying. So Harris thought it would be a good idea to throw the baby across the room onto a broken couch that had wood sticking out of it. The child was pronounced brain dead and eventually died.
On top of all that Harris admits to using marijuana all that day. And here I thought weed makes you mellow and non-violent. So if Harris was using drugs all day was the mother of the twins aware of this when she asked him to watch the kids? Food for thought so to speak.
Thanks to Chrissie for the tip.

Renee Bowman Sentenced for Child Abuse:
You all should remember Frogclown over there. That’s Renee Bowman. She was arrested for killing two of her adopted daughters, sticking their bodies in a freezer, abusing a third adopted daughter and collecting the benefits for all three.
Last week she was sentenced to 25 years behind bars. She’s also facing additional charges for child abuse.

Father killed daughter then posted on Bebo to pretend she was alive:
How’s this for a bastard?
47-year-old Tony Couchman of England killed his 19-year-old daughter Victoria. He allegedly blamed her for his son’s vehicular death in 2005 and that is believed to be the reason he killed her. Kids found her skull in the woods in October of 2008.
To try and cover up the crime it is believed that Couchman went on his daughter’s Bebo account and posed as her imitating the way teens speak. However his murderous love for his son may have been his undoing as he sent messages to his son’s friends as Victoria asking them to take the pictures of his son off their profiles and was rather rude about which people say was not Victoria’s nature.
To top it all off Couchman killed himself in his cell the day before his trial was to start. When this happens I usually say he took the coward’s way out which he did. However since there is no death penalty in England I say thanks for saving the British taxpayers some money.

Dominique Lagail Lee, 18, has (allegedly) killed her second baby in 2 years. That’s right – she killed one, and it was not properly investigated, and then she killed another one two years later. The first baby died at 45 days old, and the second, Kai’den Terry, was seven weeks old when she grabbed him by the ankles, snatched him off a bed, and slammed him head first into the floor.
Since her report of the death of Kai’den was so similar to her story of her first baby’s death in 2007, the police looked a little closer this time, and have since re-opened the investigation into the death of her first baby as well.
Why would she do that to a 7 week old baby, you ask? Well – it was because she was mad ad the bio dad. She said that she had been having a heated disagreement, via text messages, with the father of her child, and so she threw him to the floor. I guess the loser of that argument was the baby. It seems Lee was already under arrest, and in jail, for her role as the getaway driver in an armed robbery, when she confessed to the murder of her son. As far as I can tell, no charges have been filed concerning little Kai’den’s death yet. Maybe that’s why she looks so happy in her mugshot. Sickening.
I’d like to thank Marcia for the tip.

The original article on this was written up here by Joel back when it happened. I am just letting you know the current status, since one of our readers, Kathryn, sent us an article about it. Thanks for keeping us up to date, Kathryn! The article Kathryn sent us can be found here.
I won’t go into all of the details of this one, because it’s been written about already, and you can use the link to get to it. The pertinent facts are that Mila Petrov and her husband Carlos Beltran were arrested for the murder of their 5-year old daughter Melanie Beltran, in March of 2007. The death blow was caused when the child was beaten for throwing up her dinner. I guess we all know how effective beatings are in making sick children well again, don’t we?
Anyway, the prosecutors had asked for the death penalty, but Mila managed to walk away with only 39 years for the murder of her child. I guess that’s more appropriate than what Carlos got – he only got 20 years. The defense played the “she was an abused child herself” card, and it seems to have worked out for her, since she avoided the electric chair. I won’t even go into what I think of people who blame their abuse of their own kids on what happened to them as children. Most of the regular readers on here know already. It’s a crock of B.S.
So, Carlos will be walking the streets in less than 20 years, and Mila in less than 30, more than likely. But Melanie will not receive a parole from her sentence. She will still be dead. I just hope the DNA donors will be locked up long enough that all of their remaining children will be grown and gone before these two animals are allowed out of their cages.

Tyrone Adair, 38, has been charged in the death of his girlfriend, Tracy Judd, 33, and their daughter Deja Adair, 23 months. He is also being sought in connection with the deaths of a former girlfriend, Amber Weigel, 25, and his daughter with her, Neveah Weigel-Adair, 2. He has not been charged in those deaths yet, though.
Amber and Neveah were found in a car inside the garage of their home, shot to death. Tracy and Deja were found in the trunk of another car, in a different part of town, on the same day. Although the authorities are not releasing the cause of death for Tracy and Deja, is has been reported that it was not related to firearms.
So, this poor excuse for a human being killed two of his children, and both of their mothers in the same day. Wow! He’s been a busy boy, hasn’t he? He is still at large as well, and is being considered armed and extremely dangerous. Nooooo….really?
He was involved in paternity cases with the mothers of both of the babies, and had reportedly not paid any child support to Weigel for several months prior to the murders. The night he killed all of them, he called Judd’s older child to tell her that Tracy and Deja had been in a bad accident, and would not be home that night. An accident?!? Is THAT what they’re calling murder these days? I wonder how he is going to try to characterize the shootings of the other two….spontaneous lead poisoning, maybe?
No motive has been put forth as to the reason for these slayings, but I’m sure some of his defenders will eventually find their way here to tell us what a good guy he is.
In other news, he also had a restraining order against him obtained by another woman he had been stalking and threatening for months. That was back in 2006, though….so he has a history of violent tendencies, and has now ended the lives of four people. I really hope he resists arrest when they find him.
Thanks to Christina for the tip.

Hooker...Oops! I meant Kelly
Article
The title of this article, provided by April, is pretty much the only amusing thing related to this incident. Thanks for the tip, and title, April.
Emma Kelly, 22, has killed her one year old child, Jacarra Robinson. Law enforcement is calling the death a result of shaken baby syndrome, but the coroner has listed blunt force trauma to the head as the cause. It’s probably a combination of the two, since the gestation device reportedly admitted shaking Jacarra as well as hitting her in the chest.
Kelly is an unemployed mother of three (one now dead), and pregnant with her fourth. All are under the age of four. Well, at least she stayed busy doing something, hmmm…? As reported, she lived on Hooker Street, and I have to wonder if that street acquired it’s name based on any sort of defining occupation. I also wonder if Kelly was employed in that field. I would think it would be difficult to lose a job as a hooker, though, so maybe she wasn’t a paid entertainment specialist. Maybe it was just a hobby for her.
Kelly had just recently regained custody of Jacarra, after having her removed from the home for reportedly using drugs. Another good call on the part of what passes for DHS in Mississippi. Where DO they keep their brains these days? In a jar on the desk, it would appear. Maybe they take them out and play with them like one of those ’stress-relief squeezy balls’, because they sure as spit aren’t using them to make sound judgment calls.
Kelly said the the baby had been ‘whining a lot’ (what one year old doesn’t?), and so she shook her and hit her in the chest. She took Jacarra to the hospital when her head “started dangling”. This sweet baby was on life support for four days before she died. No one seems to know anything about Jacarra’s father, either – where he is….or even WHO he is. Gee, that’s surprising. My guess would be the other kids have the same aura of mystery surrounding their paternal origins as Jacarra did.
Kelly is being held on $100,000.00 bond, and has been charged with murder. I hope they keep Kelly on watch, and snatch that baby she is carrying as soon as it is born, before it winds up like it’s sister.

Christopher Rains, 22, made a call to 911 a little bit before 4:00 PM on Tuesday. He told the dispatcher that his 9 month old daughter was dead, and that he had shot her. In the head. In front of her mother.
The reason he gave for shooting the baby was “because my ex-girlfriend doesn’t want me anymore”. Baloney. He shot the child to get back at the mother, who had obviously figured out what kind of nutjob he was, and was seeing someone new. He shot that defenseless baby because he is a selfish piece of fecal matter. What kind of parent kills their kid to get even with the mother?!? I am so shocked by this one that my skin is crawling. I can barely think. I know we’ve seen stories on here about parents who kill their kids to get even (I’ve written a couple myself, I think)….so why is this one affecting me so much more than the others? Maybe it’s because the baby was so young. Or because the mother was there, and had to witness her child being executed. Or because after the murdering S.O.B. shot the baby, he turned to his ex and asked if it was “worth it”. Meaning her relationship with the other man, I presume.
The 911 call went on for seven minutes, and by the time it was over, the police had surrounded the house. In cases like this, I will say again, it’s a good thing I’m not a cop. I don’t know that I could refrain from shooting him as he exited the home. Or whether I would even try to resist the urge.
During the 911 call, Rains said, “I’m 22 years old, and I’m going to go to prison for the rest of my life, aren’t I?” My guess is probably so. Too bad on that, too, because in a perfect world, he would get the death penalty. There is a tiny bit of good news in this, though. It seems that at his arraignment, he was attacked by another inmate who was up on drug charges. I hope that inmate is given a commendation for his actions…. or at least a carton of smokes.
Rains is being held on $500,000.00 cash only bond. Good job, judge.
Thanks to April and Sally for the tip.

This tip comes to us from Lori. Clayton Phillip Allison, 26, has finally been arrested and charged in the death of his 15-month old daughter, Jocelynn Renee Allison, which occurred in September of 2008 at an Alaskan hospital. She died from a traumatic brain injury.
As an infant, Jocelynn had been considered a ‘failure to thrive” baby. She had a lower than normal weight for her age, and her muscle development was poor, causing her to have trouble standing on her own. Clayton had trouble getting the baby to eat, so he began smacking her around some. He would slap her forehand and backhand, first causing her head to bounce off of the plastic tray, and then causing it to hit the side of the high chair. He said these slapping sessions got more forceful over time. Yeah….because we all know that the best way to encourage your child to eat is to slap them. I’ve never really thought about it, but I kind of doubt that slapping a child would help the child to eat. I imagine it would make the child’s face and head hurt and make it less likely to want to eat. That’s just my opinion, though.
The day the baby died, the sperm donor said he had been doing physical therapy with Jocelynn in the living room, while the mother was at work. Is that what they’re calling it now?!? Slapping = physical therapy. So, I guess punching your kid would be considered athletic training then, right? Clayton tried to convince authorities that the baby had fallen down a carpeted flight of stairs, but the doctors called him on his lies. She had blood around her brain, two dislocated vertebrae, and a bruised lung. How freakin’ hard do you have to hit a child in order to dislocate their vertebrae? The force of the blows must have been astounding in order to cause such damage.
The excuse the father is trotting out now is that the baby would refuse to eat, and would throw the food on the floor, making him feel like a failure as a father. So he did what all concerned and conscientious fathers do – he slapped her to make her stop throwing the food. No, wait….my mistake….good fathers love their kids, they don’t beat them to death. FYI – it wasn’t the refusal of food that made him a failure….it was the abuse and murder.
And why is it that the most vulnerable of the children are so often beaten to death because of their disabilities? She was killed because she wouldn’t eat….and now she will never get to eat again. This guy should be slapped every single time he is given anything to eat in prison. The entire time he’s trying to eat it. I bet he’ll lose some weight too.

By ‘lessons’ I mean that they killed a child and the official ruling was that it was blunt force trauma to the abdomen. The little girl’s bowels were ruptured. Need I remind anyone reading this how painful a death that is? If you need any reminding, just go and read the Demontrell thread, I don’t have the stomach to type it all out again. Kayleigh Brianna Biggerstaff was only four years old when her DNA donors murdered her.
Apparently this is going to turn in to one of those he said/she said cases, where each animal tries to blame the other. You know – kind of like a pit bull blaming a doberman for eating the family cat. Sorry – I had to go there.
Kimberly Biggerstaff has several witnesses that will say Rico Benitez had a violent temper, and Benitez has found people who will say the same about Biggerstaff. No surprise there. The defense filings include a description of the testimony expected from each witness, and shows the ‘pattern’ of Kayleigh’s injuries over a period of time. Kimberley’s attorney is going to say that Benitez beat her and Kayleigh, and that he was a drug user. And testimony is also expected accusing the birth vessel of drug use. I see a “But I was afraaaaaaaaid of him,” defense coming on for this witch. Not sure what HIS defense strategy might be other than, “Didn’t do it. Nope. Wasn’t me.”, but I’m sure his attorney will come up with something just as amazing and entertaining as it is untrue.
There are many more details in the second article, but I will let you all go and read them for yourselves. I wanted to go ahead and get to the latest shenanigans being offered to the court by the slimey bottom dwelling scum-suckers……oops! I meant to say attorneys, there. It seems that after being turned down when they asked for a dismissal of all charges, the defense has argued to the judge that they have a right to know if their clients are being charged with causing death by neglect, or death by abuse. Just so you know the difference in this case – death by neglect would mean that the child was injured (presumably by someone other than themselves), and they didn’t seek medical treatment, thereby causing her demise; while death by abuse would mean that they actually delivered the killing blows, and were responsible for her death in that manner. I’ve got a GREAT idea! Why not charge them with both sets of circumstances, and thereby remove all doubt as to their guilt? Works for me! How bout y’all?
OK, I have to admit….every time I typed the name Biggerstaff in this story, I giggled a little. I have come up with SEVERAL interesting comments about her name, but I thought I’d give my readers first shot at it. That’s only fair – since I got the first shot at the attorneys. I like to share that way…..
I’d like to thank Angela for the tip on this story.

Original Post Here
This is the story of Burrell E. Mohler Sr. – his four sons – and his brother
The Mohler’s are charged with now face nearly 30 felony counts relating to sex crimes against children, and more charges are anticipated. Three of the men were lay ministers in the Community of Christ church.
This all started with the 26 year old granddaughter of Mohler Sr told authorities she was struggling with suppressed memories of abuse by her grandfather and uncles. The abuse was absurd … elaborate weddings to her uncles, rape, kidnapping… murder!
Since the arrest, five other children/grandchildren have come forward corroborating the stories and elaborating on more horrific events. They say they were told to write down the bad things and put the papers in jars and bury them and the memories would go away. During excavation of the land it is known that jars or pieces of jars were uncovered.
Calls have been pouring into a hot line established including people who are not related to the family who claim to have been abused, raped, held captive. One called alleges she was repeatedly raped and gave birth two babies on two occasions. She said the first baby was buried in the basement floor in a box.
Investigators used a radar device to probe beneath the farmhouse and found an “anomaly” buried a foot below the surface, an item in the shape of a box approximately 20 inches by 30 inches in size, according to court documents.
One call to the police hot line is a woman claiming she was held captive in the Mohler’s basement for two years.
Yet another case of something that went on for years and years and was not discovered.
