Girl injured after drunken breeders crash quad bike

Girl critical after quad bike rolls with drunk adults

Fury over quad-bike adults drinking before girl hurt

Woman asked to take quad bike crash blame

Six year old Ashlee Shorrock is in a critical condition at Auckland’s Starship Children’s Hospital, after a quad bike that she was on crashed into a ditch in Hawkes’ Bay. The quad bike was being driven by an adult (it’s not clear who yet) who had spent the day drinking and was smashed as a crab! Ashlee’s father, Daniel Shorrock (28), and two other adults had been drinking all day before they decided to drive the quad home. Ashlee’s stepmum Stephanie Lucas (22) had only had one drink that day, but nevertheless let a drunk person drive the quad bike home. Idiot! Now we all know what happens when you mix alcohol and driving. It doesn’t end well. The quad bike, carrying Ashlee, her dad, her step mum and two other adults crashed into the ditch on Okaihau Rd, near Waimarama Beach shortly before midnight. I didn’t know quad bikes could carry five people, but now we know they can’t…

Stephanie was asked to take the blame because she’d had the least to drink. Well, Stephanie, you should’ve offered to drive the quad instead of letting some drunken idiot take the wheel. She was also conveniently forgetful about who was actually driving that night. She claimed she’d only had one drink that day, yet couldn’t remember who was driving. Either she’s lying about how much she had to drink, or she actually does know who was driving and my money’s going to be on Ashlee’s dad. Either way she knew that whoever was driving wasn’t fit to drive, yet she still placed Ashlee in harm’s way by putting her on a quad with a drunkard at the wheel. She could’ve walked with Ashlee or offered to commandeer the bike. But no, that would’ve been sensible. Poor Ashlee didn’t have a say in this and now she’s injured.

The adults were injured too, but not to the extent that Ashley was. They’ve all been discharged from hospital while Ashlee continues to suffer.

Quad bikes in New Zealand are subjected to the same laws as any other vehicle travelling on a public road. They must be registered and the riders licensed to drive them. My bet is that this bike and driver were neither. Police are investigating, and charges may be filed against the adults. Nah, do you think?!

Another set of Breeders try to cover up crash

Police: Windsor couple faces numerous charges after DWI-related crash:

This may seem like deja vu but it isn’t which makes it even worse.

First responders in Windsor, New York responded to a crash only to find two men trying to move the car who ten fled the scene. The car belonged to one 29-year-old Gregory S. Hull. At almost the exact same time a call for an ambulance was made from Hull’s household saying that his girlfriend, 30-year-old Heather T. Warner, fell down the stairs and broke her leg.

I’m sure it didn’t take police long to put two and two together to realize that Warner did not fall down the stairs and that this was just a ruse to cover up the crash.

What lands them in our neck of the blogging woods is that not only was their 5-month-old in the car unsecured but Hull allegedly coached his 11-year-old daughter that Warner fell down the stairs. And oh yea Warner was allegedly drunk on top of everything else. No word on her BAC.

I’ve made no secret that my father had a drinking problem. Before there was such things as a BAC and DUI charges this was a much more frequent occurrence. I have serious bad memories of being in the front seat of the car crying while my dad was hammered behind the wheel. Luckily he never crashed while I was in the car. I couldn’t even imagine what must have been going through the 5-month-old’s mind at the time. Thankfully the child was unharmed.

DUI on ATV leads to PBB

Man crashes ATV with toddler on board:

I couldn’t find an article that said what the relationship is between the suspect and the child buut for the sake of this post let’s assume he’s either the breeder or bad boyfriend.

Anyway, 36-year-old John Pollard is accused of taking off drunk on an ATV with a 23-moth-old toddler in his arms. Since he was allegedly drinking you can pretty much guess what happens next.

The ATV took a spill. No that’s mot right, the ATV is just a machine. Pollard allegedly rolled the ATV sending both him and the child flying. Of course no helmets were being worn and the drunk comes out of it without a scratch. The child was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

So far no charges have been filed but I imagine they will be.

3-year-old not restrained in drunk driving crash

Child in crash not properly restrained:

3-year-old Kaiden Smith is in critical condition after the vehicle he was traveling in crashed in Fountain County, Indiana on April 1st. Kalden was in his car set but the seat was not restrained. Kalden and his birth organism, Pamela Smith, were both airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. The other person in the vehicle, 29-year-old Jason Coleman was treated and released. It’s unknown at this time if Coleman is the sperm donor or just the penis.

Anyway it turns out that not only were both ‘adults’ intoxicated neither one of them had any business driving since they both had suspended drivers licenses.

Police at this time don’t know which of the pair were driving and DNA tests are being performed on the airbags to see who was at the wheel. I’m laying odds on the penis since he was the one with the least amount of injuries. That’s the way it seems to work out in drunk driving cases.

Thanks to Erin for the tip.
