Reward doubled in Adam Herrman disappearance

Reward increases in search for Adam Herrman:

Reward in Adam Herrman case doubled to $100,000:

This Tuesday, July 1st, will mark the 15th anniversary since the disappearance of then 11-year-old Adam Herrman from the Butler County, Kansas home of his adoptive Breeders, Doug and Valerie Herrman. While Adam disappeared in 1999 his disappearance wasn’t reported to anyone until 2008. His adoptive Breeders were collecting the government benefits for Adam the entire time he was gone. They were both sentenced to less than a year in jail on fraud charges.

Just recently an anonymous donor doubled the reward for information leading to the discovery of Adam to $100,000.

Anyone with information about Adam’s whereabouts or his disappearance is asked to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or 316-322-4257.

If you were to ask my opinion I would reluctantly say that I think Adam is no longer with us. When this story first broke it was big time national news. If no one could find him then I think it’s very unlikely that he’s till alive. Even so Adam needs to come home and those who wronged him need to face justice.

Thanks to Denise for the tip.

FBI: There is no ‘Nan’

FBI on Parsons case: Nan does not exist:

Speaking of giving kids to fictitious people the FBI recently announced they’re offering a reward for information leading to the return of Erica Parsons of $25,000. The Rowan County Sheriffs had and still is offering a reward of $10,000.

That’s not the only thing they announced though. The FBI has said unequivocally that there is no such person as Irene ‘Nan’ Goodman. Nan is the person that the Parsonses allegedly claim they gave Erica too two years ago. They also claim they believed Nan was Erica’s biological grandmother. Let’s here from The Bureau…

“We know Erica did not go to live with Irene Goodman, which has previously been reported. I can tell you Nan just doesn’t exist,” said FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Deron Roberts.

Erica’s adoptive mother, Casey Parsons, only commented on the new reward money…

“I think this is excellent. I am very excited to hear this. You have made my day with this announcement, thanks.”

It’s like you can almost hear the gears turning to see how she can figure out to get the reward money herself.

7 week old TN baby disappears into thin air, Breeder arrested

Police Call-Off Search For Missing Baby:

Family And Friends Of Mother Of Missing Baby Talk About Abuse Charges:

I apologize for not posting this story sooner as I just found out about it today thanks to Krystal who sent in the tip.

A few weeks ago in Memphis, Tennessee, then 7-week-old Aniston Walker went missing. Her mother, Andrea Walker, claims that she walked her 5-year-old to school and left Aniston alone with her 3-year-old. When she returned she says, the baby was gone even though the home was locked and there were no signs of forced entry.

Police in Memphis suspended the search after 3 days even though they are still investigating her disappearance. Meanwhile Andrea Walker is believed to have had something to do with her daughter’s disappearance and has been arrested on neglect and abuse charges. Police say that Andrea Walker has been uncooperative and has allegedly given conflicting stories. The only thing missing from this story is that she Walker hasn’t claimed to have given the baby to a fictional person.

Nothing will bring a community together like a missing child. Complete strangers will drop whatever they’re doing and volunteer to assist police in the search. Nothing will turn a community against you faster than lying about that child’s disappearance. Eventually they will find Aniston and more than likely, I hate to say, deceased. Do yourself and everyone a favor, talk now so the baby can be put to rest.

Judge to Parsons: You’ll get your kids back when you produce Erica

Sandy, Casey Parsons’ two youngest children will stay with aunt and uncle for now:

Judge: Parsons’ children stay with aunt, uncle; another hearing set:

Family member says Parsons did not regain custody of children:

The adopted parents of Erica Parsons were in court this past week. Casey and Sandy Parsons were there to try to gain back custody of their youngest kids, you know, the ones who haven’t mysteriously vanished. Currently the children are staying with their aunt and uncle and according to family members will stay with them a while longer.

While Casey Parsons emerged from court saying “We won.” nothing could be further from the truth. Which is typical because she’s about as far from the truth as you can get. While local media were not allowed in the courtroom some family members were able to convey to the media what the judge’s ruling was. The judge basically ruled that the Parsonses can possibly get their kids back if they can produce Erica without breaking the law…

The judge gave the Parsonses a list of requirements that must be met, including counseling, drug testing and anger management for Sandy Parsons, according to WBTV. The judge also ruled that the Parsonses have to prove that Erica is alive or be able to explain what happened to her without sparking any criminal charges, David Whisenant reported.

If it wasn’t for the fact that a 15-year-old girl is missing and possibly dead it would be entertaining to see what Casey Parsons will say or do next in light of the judge’s ruling. Maybe a miracle will happen and they will produce Erica without breaking any laws but I won’t be holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

Cadaver dogs hint at possible human remains on Parsons’ property

Search warrant in Erica Parsons case: Dogs alerted on “possible presence of human remains’:

I apologize for this story being a month old but as I recently mentioned some times the real world can’t be put on hold.

Anyway, last month it was made public in a search warrant that some cadaver dogs indicated that there may have been the presence of human remains on a property where Casey and Sandy Parsons once lived. They are the adoptive parents of Erica Parsons who hasn’t been seen by anyone in over two years.

The search of the property with the cadaver dogs took place last October with three of four dogs indicating possible human remains in a storage building. Another cadaver dog was used in early November and he hit on the same building twice. Items were taken from the building but no human remains were found. Investigators are even exploring the possibility that Erica is dead and her body hidden somewhere.

Of course Casey Parsons had to chime in on this. Her reaction?

“This is so crazy. This is why no one has found Erica, because no one is searching for an “alive” Erica.”

Wow, it’s almost like she’s playing the dual role of Casey Anthony and Casey Anthony’s mom all at the same time. We even have a supposedly made up person who has the child. In this case being the mysterious grandmother from Asheville that no one can prove exists. It’s almost like she took notes from the Casey Anthony affair just in case something like this would come up.

Just because one person pulled off the swindle of a lifetime doesn’t mean everyone can.

Charges dismissed against Giovanni Gonzalez’s father

Judge dismisses charges against father of Giovanni Gonzalez, who disappeared in Lynn five years ago:

Sad news out of Massachusetts today when an Essex County Superior Court judge dismissed charges of parental kidnapping against Ernesto Gonzalez. Gonzalez is the main person of interest in the 2008 disappearance of his son, 5-year-old Giovanni Gonzalez. Giovanni was visiting his dad for a weekend but when it came time to return Giovanni to his mother Ernesto Gonzalez never returned him. He claims that he murdered Giovanni but investigators say there is no evidence to those claims.

Unfortunately this is not surprising as earlier this year Ernesto Gonzalez was ruled mentally incompetent to stand trial.

Gonzalez is far from a free man though. He’s been committed to a state mental facility who just requested an extension on his current stay. Not to mention he also assaulted an inmate and a guard.

Due to the lack of evidence I’m still hoping against hope that Giovanni is alive and that hopefully some new program or crime show will bring his story to at least a national audience.

Casey Parsons can’t keep her mouth shut

Adoptive mom disputes financial aspect article on missing teen Erica Parsons:

This story is a week old but you should be used to my tardiness by now.

Anyway local TV station WBTV recently did a story about how the adoptive parents of Erica Parsons were allegedly still collecting government benefits meat for Erica the entire time she’s been missing. It seems that Casey Parsons, Erica’s adoptive mother, is one of those people who has to react to anything. I’m surprised she hasn’t shown up[ here yet. She’s basically saying that her and her husband are due the money and that we shouldn’t question it….

My husband and I have never ever signed our rights away for Erica. We are still legally responsible for her. Please keep reading and make sure to even read the special paragraph the state writes about a child even leaving home. “Out-of-Placements” These statements are made out of the mouth of our own Government. Exactly what my husband and I did for Erica. We had an Out-of-Home arrangement.

Except there’s two things that probably need clarifying. Was any of that money used on Erica? Did you send any of it to Erica’s allegedly imaginary new caretaker? If I had to lay odds I would say no to both.

By the way have you had your trip to New Orleans yet?

Casey Parsons going to New Orleans to ‘find Erica’

Adoptive parents of missing teen headed to New Orleans, hope to find answers:

Sometimes you just have to sit slack-jawed and marvel at how some people overestimate their ability to bullshit the public. For example take Casey Parsons, the adoptive mother of missing North Carolina teen Erica Parsons. Casey spoke with a local news station to tell them that she will be going to New Orleans in hopes of finding Erica. The reason she picked New Orleans is because that’s where Erica’s biological mother lives. You see, it seems like Casey is still trying to deflect any suspicion away from her and towards Erica’s birth mother and the mysterious ‘Nan’ that they dropped Erica off with.

“We’re just going around to the area where I know that Carolyn lived,” Parsons told Harry, referring to Carolyn Parsons, the biological mother of Erica. “The last little questions that we had in the little interview we had with the FBI, we were under the impression that Carolyn just knows more that she’s coming forth with and saying and there’s a little bit, of course, Carolyn is the one that led me to Nan, well, led Nan to us, and Nan knew all my information and the one common factor is Carolyn.”

I wonder if she’ll run into O.J. while he’s looking for Nicole Brown’s real killer. Whoops, I forgot O.J. was locked up. Or maybe she’ll find ‘Nan’ and Zenaida Gonzalez drinking Hurricanes on Bourbon Street while Bigfoot throws beads at them.

You know it’s less than a day’s driving from New Orleans to the Mexican border. Just sayin’.

Giovanni Gonzalez’s father ruled incompetent to stand trial in son’s disappearance

Judge: Man incompetent to stand trial of missing son:

Not only has it been over a year since Giovanni Gonzalez’s disappearance has been mentioned in the media, it’s been five years since he first went missing. For those of you not familiar with his story in 2008 a then 5-year-old Giovanni Gonzalez was picked up by his father so he could spend the weekend with him in Lynn, Massachusetts. Once the weekend was over Giovanni was not returned to his mother and his father, Ernesto Gonzalez, claimed he had no idea where his son was. Some of Giovanni’s blood was found in Ernesto’s apartment but it was not enough to prove any kind of murder had taken place and Giovanni’s body has never been found. Ernesto Gonzalez has been sitting in jail since his son first disappeared.

Unfortunately the most recent development is not such great news. This past week a Massachusetts judge ruled Ernesto Gonzalez incompetent to stand trial in Giovanni’s disappearance. While Ernesto Gonzalez probably won’t be going free anytime soon due to his mental state and other pending charges I’m afraid that Giovanni may never come home now.

Exclusive: Casey Parsons opens up about missing teen:

Erica Parsons’ adoptive mother blames birth mom for disappearance:

Ok, I know I said I wasn’t going to mention Erica Parsons’ adoptive mother’s name on here since she has yet to be charged with a crime but since it’s already out there you can’t un-ring the bell plus I find it ironic that her name is Casey. Speaking of Caseys, Casey Anthony should sue Casey Parsons for plagiarism.

In recent interviews with the local news not only has Casey Parsons blamed the possibly fictional Irene ‘Nan’ Goodman that no one can prove ever existed but now she’s also blaming Erica’s biological mother, Carolyn Parsons.

“Carolyn is the key,” she said.

Casey says she let Erica move in with a woman named Irene or “Nan” almost two years ago. She says at the time she believed “Nan” was Erica’s biological grandmother.

“We don’t know who Nan is. But I think those answers are going to come from Carolyn,” she said.

“Carolyn is the one that sent “Nan” to us, and if Carolyn really cared, I don’t think she’d go away to Louisiana,” Casey said.

Carolyn says she went home to Louisiana just a few days ago to spread the word about Erica’s disappearance there.

The problem with this scenario is the fact that Casey Parsons and her husband were the ones receiving the state benefit checks for Erica. If Carolyn Parsons and the alleged Irene Goodman were taking Erica wouldn’t they want the benefits that went with her?

Someone is going to get so wrapped up in their own lies that it will be their downfall. We can only hope that it leads to finding Erica safe but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it.
