Mother arrested for allegedly breaking newborns bones
Mother accused of breaking baby’s leg maintains innocence
A Fort Myers, Florida mother has been arrested for breaking her newborn son’s bones.
A nurse overheard her say that she does “things” when she gets “mad”.
The baby’s father told officers that he noticed the baby’s leg looked funny and that the baby was crying more then usual. After x-rays came back, doctors found multiple fractures in the tibia and femur all leading them to believe the injuries were intentional.
Katherine Barstis, 21, is being charged with child abuse.
And you know she saying the accusations against her are false! I even willing to bet someone shows up to defend her too.
Anyone want to volunteer to slap the smirk of this Bitch’s face?
I’ll take three, please. What? There are only two available? *sigh* OK, I’ll take ’em both.
In Chesterfield, VA, several mothers found a baby in a Ukrop’s shopping bag at a neighborhood school bus stop at about 4:00 pm Monday. As they were walking home with their kids from the bus stop, a dog belonging to one of the mothers sniffed the bag, and the baby began to cry. When they looked in the bag, they found an infant, less than 36 hours old, with the umbilical cord still attached. She was wrapped in a woman’s skirt, and several blankets. One of the ladies who discovered the bag said it had been there for most of the day, but no one thought to examine it.
WHY….WHY….WHY do people leave their babies outside to freeze to death, when there are safe haven laws in place? When they find the incubator, I sincerely hope they prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law. Start with abandonment charges, and move up from there.
The infant is reportedly in good condition, and authorities are trying to locate the mother. Apparently there was another baby abandoned on a lawn in the same area in August. A naked baby boy was found on a lawn in Henrico County on Aug. 27. His parents still have not been identified. Since he was not in a shopping bag, I can only assume he was from a yard sale. Well….he was in a yard, anyway…..
